oh thank god. I'm making a giant FNAF lore presentation, and to study i've been looking through these theories. But hearing matpat call the crying child Michael OVER and OVER again was hurting my brain. I was worried maybe my memory wasn't right and my lore was all wrong. In hindsight, (also after watching security breach's latest theories), Ballora's shut eyes may be a metaphor that the mom's actually dead (most likely from suicide) as yet another consequence of Afton's actions.
Usually FNAF's lore feels like it's stitched together along as the games release, but this detail together with the 'tomb' lyric gives a feeling of that being the story since Ballora's inception.
You can say even that FNAF's lore is kinda... _stitchwraithed_ as it goes along!

The theory with suicide makes sense as in the therapy tapes that Vanessa did the therapist mentions her mother and it glitches out when she says “your mother…*glitches* after the divorce didn’t she?” And when it glitches the words ‘killed herself’ fit perfectly into the sentence.
William may have actually killed her to further cover up his tracks and give her new life as a new animatronic.

I thing it’s just like she’s ignoring the things that William has his eyes open to, Ballora is always dancing, the wife likely got lost in her hobbies, that was how she coped, she thought he was doing the same thing and wanted to share that together, encouraging him to come listen to the music in her halls, she’s doing fun happy things trying to make the best of life and he is stuck trying to bring the kids back, she thinks he’s getting lost in his work like her and feels like he hates her for doing the same thing he’s doing, when to him she is abandoning them by not dwelling on their deaths like he is

Maybe Cassidy wrote those 2 questions to keep Michael alive, since we know that the animatronics are powered by strong emotion and since Micheal is in a sort of limbo state of animatronic-ness not really what to call it, Cassidy wrote these questions/statements to remind Michael of the pain he felt killing his brother and the anger he feels towards his father, just a guess though idk.

The TNT Muffin it could be that the book was passed on through generations (William to Elizabeth to Michael to us) as it is kinda geared towards children and that line was geared towards Elizabeth, not Michael. Another theory maybe since mikes name was crossed out and mike was also taken control of by baby so maybe the book was given to the crying child after he died like as will-iam pun intended. I know this is random, but I love how the majority of the FNaF fandom follows MatPat, Dawko, and other's theories as the true story. The Game Theorists in particular did a great service to the series and brought the fandom together like no one else could. MatPat is a highly respected and trusted leader of the Five Nights at Freddy's fandom. Thanks for being a part of my childhood.

Maybe the line “Does he still talk to you?” Isn’t about fredbear but about William. Does your dad still talk to you? Is he still mad at you for what you did to your brother. We never really go into how William dealt with the older brother. You'd need some sort of reason to assume it's referring to William though. The page could technically be talking about anyone, but the assumption it's referring to the Fredbear doll is based on the fact that 1.) The Fredbear doll is constantly talking to the crying child and victim, and 2.) He's the only thing on that page, looking at the reader.
It's hard to say if it's *actually* referring to the Freddy doll or not, but for now, unless there's more proof first, saying it's referring to William would be a stretch, or just spitballing possibilities.

I just got done rewatching fnaf trailers and I stumbled upon the fnaf ar special delivery trailer, now I guess I have found a great asset to solve your problem with the confusion of ballora and the cardboard glasses. Hear me out so in the fnaf ar special delivery trailer you will see animatronics originally haunting inside of your phone but if you keep watching you will see that the animatronics will manifest in the real world somehow (mayyybe its a ghost thing a.k.a demonic). But anyway if you listen closely you'll hear whats sound like springtrap a.k.a William Afton a.k.a the purple guy say "this is real". So yes it is 2:13am where I live and I just wanted to spend my time rewatching all the fnaf trailers. Shout me out if you find this message helpful and anyway. :)

I’m thinking that the character in FNAF 4 is Michael. His favorite toy is the purple phone (referring to Michael), does he remember anything after the accident? While in the room we see references to a hospital bed which could be a reference to Pete’s hospitalization. Maybe the mini games are him going in and out out of conciseness and having guilt trips. And if I recall, Foxy is in the closet which could be him being tortured by Foxy.

About the ballora story, isnt that exactly how glitchtrap posessed vanny? She kept putting on the headset and glitchtrap got closer and closer as she collected the tapes until in the end it ends up posessing her
