    Thank you this is the video I was looking for with the pedal view and not just someone explaining it

    Incredibly informative. I’m picking up my SR+ next week in TO, but its been a good year since I went for a test drive.

      Steve Cordrey thank you! Congratulations on your SR+! Hope you have a name ready for your Tesla.

    Subbed! Thanks for taking the time to explain different modes and the proper in-depth walkthrough. I'm picking up my Tesla in less than 36 hours, and this video really helped.

    Great instructional video! Much appreciated. I’m still waiting for my Model 3 to be delivered so I’m getting as much knowledge ahead of my first Tesla drive. I’m coming from driving a Toyota Prius, so I’m familiar with maximizing driving efficiency. I’m certainly looking forward to the one-pedal driving experience. Thanks again for the time you took to produce this video. Blessings!!

    This is great. Going on a week vacation and renting a Tesla Model 3. So this is really going to help. Thanks!

    16:25 I wouldn't say it's most efficient because if you put the baking mode on ROLE you wouldn't have to press gas pedal a lot, you can just roll, you are not wasting energy right until when you have to stop

    • @theteslasheep7321
      @theteslasheep7321  Před 3 lety

      Then you’ll be using up your brakes to slow down. The friction and heat generated is really inefficient and energy will be lost as heat! When you’re going Dow hilltop can simply hold down the right stock for 1-2 seconds to put it in neutral. Overall, in my 2 years of ownership, I find that the regeneration helps BIG time with efficiency.

    This is very informative, coming from a gas car that creep mode would be an easy transition, but not great for your brakes.

      @martinw245 Před rokem +1

      No diferent to a conventional re brakes, if regen is off. If on, and brakes are barely being used, they can get rusty and new rotors required sooner.

    Why does it not coast when you don’t press any pedals?

    • @martinw245
      @martinw245 Před rokem

      Because regeneration is in action. The deceleration is charging the battery. If regen is low it will coast

    do you have to enable the HOLD everytime you drive?
    could you set it up as default, so it statys like that all the time, even when ou shut down the car?
    Thank you

    God, I can't wait until I have enough to get the Model 3. It drives me absolutely crazy always having to go "gas brake gas brake gas brake" that hold mode seems like a total dream. Also the turning radius on my vehicle is pretty crap, I heard the Model 3 is pretty good in terms of turning radius?

    • @theteslasheep7321
      @theteslasheep7321  Před 3 lety +2

      You will one day get a Tesla! When you do you will love it! Talking from experience 😂. The turning radius is pretty good on my model 3! Not sure about S/X

    Do the brake lights come on since you are touching the pedal?

  • @sn5837
    @sn5837 Před 2 lety

    17:18 I can see how distracted drivers wouldn't notice us slowing down since the brake lights don't come on, crashing into the back of us 😭
    ✏️ : I believe there should be a certain threshold to where brake lights should come on much earlier with one pedal driving to deal with tailgaters

    • @martinw245

    How many miles of range difference is there between gas-car-settings and one-pedal driving? Like - from a full charge, how many miles will I lose if I drive it like a gas car?

  • @NoSleepRacing
