- #cjmowing Are your neighbors willing to pull a gun to protect "YOUR" property? We spent hours looking in a well manicured community for an overgrown lawn. We nearly thought we would not find one until we stumbled upon this property. We spoke with many of the neighbors who informed us that the bank foreclosed on the property even though the homeowner was not behind on his payments. The owner was forced or scared into leaving his property to live with his mother in her home in another county. One of the neighbors was very upset by this claiming that he pulled a gun on the bank repo person that came to change the locks on the doors. This video shows the before, during and after transformation of the overgrown property that the neighbors also said was an issue periodically over the years stating that they helped the homeowner get the property back under control from time to time.

Of course, I don't understand CZcams. I could afford two pairs of boots. The national average size for a yard is a quarter of an acre, and most homeowners with that yard size pay between $135 and $335.7 (Stats from LawnLove).
There are at least eight "organisations" on CZcams all making videos of 'free yard makeovers'; it's amazing how many people there are whos magnanimity overpowers the need to make a living. Or are they all sprats to catch mackerels?

I am 70 years old and just cleared my 2 of my neighbours blocks of land of waist high weeds and long grass...took me 3 days with my push mower...you guys are needed in Australia...I live on Magnetic Island, 8klms off Townsville...

Wrong, no one has an obligation to do anyone a favor. If the bank has foreclosured on the house they have the obligation to keep the lawns up until it's sold
@@Yaya2214CJ either way they saved someone money, after so long the city charges 500 dollars at a minimum and they do not do edges. The real estate the bank uses is grateful for the help.

The local guy who does my lawns always rakes afterwards. Does a good job. He;s not on You Tube though. I've seen another You Tube mowing guy who does. SB Mowing maybe.
I can’t even imagine how long it would take to do the back yard. The front was an enormous job. You both worked so hard. At least the neighbours appreciate everything you did. The dynamic duo knock off another one.

@@englishterry8084I used to work for mortgage companies in their default and foreclosure departments. You're correct, they are responsible for keeping lawns cut. Generally, these bank departments run that aspect of the business from a central corporate office and rhey don't have eyes on the hundreds of affected properties, so they contract with local companies to do the maintenance. You can imagine how that sometimes goes since corporate can't provide direct oversight, and sometimes unethical maintenance companies just pocket the money and don't do the work. Even if required to provide photos, they sometimes only do the work occasionally and recycle the photos they send to the bank.
I really appreciate how you always collect the grass cuttings. It makes a huge difference to the appearance. Other channels used to do the same, but now just ‘mulch’ it and they don’t get the professional look as you do. Fantastic Duo!

The bank can repo for anything that endangers their interest in the property value vs the loan balance. Who knows maybe he had some other type of lien filed against him.

Landscaping was one of the most REWARDING jobs I ever had. We'd tell jokes all day long to let the days go fast and everybody got along.
Seeing what changes I made on a person's property was great. It's hard to describe but it's a feeling of accomplishment. I couldn't wait to get back at it the next day. It gives what my heart doctor calls OUTGOING ACTIVITY that feels good. Always a great cardio-workout.

People have been known to squat in homes by changing the locks and moving in. Others have sold property not belonging to them. So that neighbor has the right idea. You provide a much needed service and help the resale values of the surrounding properties.

You two are an incredible duo, you make lawn care look like it’s fun, I am 72 years of age and still love doing yard work, I just finished mine, I also have quite a few fruit trees and I trimmed them all, dug around the trees so the water will stay around the trees better,

Seems there’s more to the story than meets the eye. If the property was foreclosed on, the bank should be maintaining it. You have helped out the “community” on this one by cleaning up this eyesore. Bless you both.
Banks never maintain yards here where I live, usually a kind neighbor does it to keep place looking nice !
Banks don’t. There policy is to let the property run down without spending half a cent of bank money to protect its value, and then when a court order is finally gained to auction off the derelict property at a fraction of what is was once worth, they get the full 100cents to the dollar on the debt before any family member inherits a dime…
Banks wont spend one cent on foreclosured houses. It’s a money gain. Buy for as little as possible - sell for as much as possible

Okay guys, thank you so much for what you do. I am a fourth generation Floridian, and I love my home state. I was born in St. Colud, before Micky Mouse ever got there. Grew up in Martin County, Indiantown in the 1960’s and 1970’s. That was the good times. The East coast was over running with people from New York/ and New Jersey, and it gust got so big. For the last 20 years my husband and I have lived in Mid Michigan. I love what you do for the people that can’t. It is funny watching you guys do this. Once the spring gets here, my husband and his buddy across the street to see who mowed the elderly widows lawn first! She loves it. I am an RN, we bought this, in the country, about 15 years ago. The elderly widow is the mother of an RN I have worked with for years. They both beat the son in law, and have it done before he has a day off. Awesome work! I had to look on Google to find out where Sparr was. I almost moved to ocola and took a job at that hospital. Be safe!

Cook a meal for a new mother or for an elderly neighbor, crochet a sweater for a poor neighbor child, buy food for a homeless person, fix someone’s flat tire. Pray for people who are hurt in an automobile accident, help out a policeman, take someone a glass of water-. There’s all kinds of ways to start the wave of kindness!t
