- This house had citations all over the front door and the yard was getting out of control. I thought it was going to be a quick job until I found the patio underneath the back lawn that took me quite a while to uncover with my shovel. It was a super satisfying reveal and in the middle of doing the work a cop pulled up to the house to tell me this...

Get Triple A $100 a year or put a door key in your laces of one of your shoes that's what I did after I locked myself out
That's what you call a grass carpet!!
Thank you for showing me how it's done.
AAA with key service will cost ~$60.00 / year
A magnetic key box will cost ~$5.00
This guy needs to receive a good citizen award and the city should pay him for doing a good deed like this. This young man reminds me of the way friends and neighbors used to be.
Just gonna inform you, this guy makes probably 10's of THOUSANDS of dollars for each yard. Not saying his a bad guy, but he is getting paid, just not by the owners of the lot.
That and he makes a ton of money just from his videos
The coty mad they lost $900.
They prolly woulda paid out $200 to their guys in labor n banked 7
The fact he even works puts him miles ahead of most people his age.

Three things I learned while watching this.....first, it's really therapeutic to watch the work involved in getting the yard cleaned and the end result. Second, nature will reclaim the land if you don't actively push back, and third there are still good people in the the world. Thank you for this.
I couldn't have said it better.
It's pretty life-validating.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Those weeds will be back in a month unless sprayed and killed.

Whoever sells that property, or owns it, owes you and so does the city because you rescued them.
I would think the city would not be happy with him. $900 fine. That's easy money.
You did an excellent job cleaning up this property. It looks 100 times better. Thank you for your kindness to this property.♥️👍
$300?!? Yeah, that man noticed all of your expensive lawn and film equipment and took you for a ride. You do such a great service for others through hard work and I truly enjoy your content. It's a true shame you got taken advantage of like that.
Hmmm my aunt called one at the Tom thumb parking lot, she drives a 2011 Ford Edge and got charged $200-250. He did probably add few more, I think they let you know in advance though.
Just get AAA, less than $300 a year and you get lock out and towing services. Honestly such a useful service
That should have no more than $50.00 to unlock your door. I hope that rip-off guy sleeps well at night.
Yeah for $300.00 I hope he tuned up the truck and rotated the tires while he was there.
@@ByrdmanAero. Spot on. Inexpensive option for exactly these situations…. Lockout, tire issue, gas.

I am speechless! Thank you so much for the support!!
If you had AAA emergency road service, it’s about $55 a year, and the locksmith would have been covered.
I can’t believe the locksmith would charge that much… it might have been cheaper to call Safelite and have them install a new window. 🤷♂️
Yeah 300$ is a little steep I'm glad someone helped you out and i loved the shoveling you did!❤
thats nicer than what he did for the neighborhood.
Sometimes watching these videos with abandoned houses I start to think how once this was someone's home that they loved and cared for, like this one has an added on sunroom and cute trim and cheerful paint...and then one day the people are gone and the house just sits there with no one to love it or remember the history, the people who took such good care of it, a family...😢
😢

Yeah, you can tell from all the little extras that this was a well-loved home at some point in time.
Wow! That just raised the property value of the whole neighborhood, just with your manicure!!! So incredible! Thank you for sharing!!!
31:36 Here it no longer fits in with the neighboring properties, 31:40 now it fits in with them again and the entire street section looks harmonious.
Your just having a day. Forgot your gloves and paid $300 to get your keys while doing the job free.
For what its worth you've earned my sub.
In my unprofessional opinion doing whats in our capabilities within our communities is the best way to make a real impact towards the future.
Accumulation of these small favors over the years can change the world.
Hats off to you sir!
AAA costs a lot less and covers locked in keys-towing-running out of gas!
People have LONG forgotten what it means to be a good neighbor. People smack their jaws Christian this and Jesus that ALL the time, butTHUS is what the Lord is asking of us to help our neighbors! Yet people constantly "look the other way". 🤷🤦 Geeezzzz
@@annmory2629 If there is any kind of membership that actually work and worth it, it's AAA and maybe Costco
@@Og-JudyI'm not in the least bit religious but I agree with you.
People seem to care more about TV personalities & their lives rather than their own neighbors. Many don't even know their neighbors' names no less if they're dead or alive or in need of a friend or assistance.
It's a pretty dismal world nowadays.. Where those who truly care are looked at as strange or nosey and those who are cold, cruel or turn a blind eye are sadly accepted as typical and the new 'norm.'

Yeah, looking just now, you can get a locksmith to come unlock your car for about $65 in SF, a city notorious for things costing way more than they should. $300 is utter nonsense and, honestly, Spencer should consider looking into the place to determine if that is the actual cost or if someone decided to have a little side hustle of marking up a simple door unlock by about 500% so they can pocket the difference.

Cool cop! Whoever owns this place owes you one big freakin hug...and lunch! I can't believe not one single neighbor brought him a snack or a drink. He raised their property values by at least 25%. Cheap stinkers!
No he didn't, the only thing that affects property values is the condition of the actual structures. Land only changes values based on use not condition. And raising property values is a bad thing, means more taxes.
If I saw this, I would've assumed someone hired him to do that, especially with that truck out there.
Good Point.

That officer should of put your name in with the city or mayor, to be recognized for all the work you do to beautify the community. It is people like you that are motivational, and could kick start efforts of others to take more pride in their community.
Could even kickstart him getting work for the city maybe. But normally that's the last thing a city slacks on.
My son is very much into flowers, and he bought all kinds of plants for the exterior of his lodge in boarding school. Other units started to do more, turning it into a competition. It was great to see them taking pride in their living space.
Ima let u know he’s not doing it for free he makes a lot on videos so he doesn’t have to charge. It’s cool of him to do tho but its not worth being recognized to the city unless he was unknown , I.e if he didn’t make videos then yeah kickstart would be a cool idea

As a disabled senior recently widowed, bless you for what you do! 🥰
I love it that the officer watched the channel! Keeping up a lawn and landscaping goes a long way towards keeping down crime. Several of us did it for elderly and vacant houses in our neighborhood growing up. We were rewarded with drinks, sandwiches, baked goods, and sometimes gas money from neighbors. Personally I think our parents were just pleased we were staying out of trouble!
I was pleasantly surprised. Thought the cop was gonna cite him for trespassing
That's great Susan that you and your friends helped your neighbors and your neighborhood👏🏆
That's the USA we need to get back!!!
So does eliminating gang graffiti. In NYC years ago they discovered that when their graffiti is removed, they’ve got more problems declaring their territories. Unfortunately, it doesn’t discourage bored teenaged punks who are just vandalizing because their parents didn’t teach them right and can’t seem to control their own kids.
Law enforcement put a lot of time and effort into their work, and the good ones get painted with the same brush as the few notable bad examples; so, when they happen upon citizens who are going out of their way to help their community, they hold deep respect!!
I am getting older and unable to do the kind of work you do anymore. Watching your videos helps me relive the memory of a job well done. I miss the satisfaction of completing the mowing/weadeating...

Do yourself a favor… go to any Love’s truck stop and go to the section in the back where all the trucker equipment is… back there you will find a kit that includes all the tools necessary to break into your truck for about 30.00 bucks, comes in a convenient carrying case you can stash in the bed of your truck… saves a ton of money and you’ll never need to call another locksmith!!!
Love your videos!!!
I have one attached to the spare tire under the bed of my work truck! One skinny zip tie holds it on well and it's no more than a utility blade or a strong pull to get it out. Airbags, assembly for the stiff rod he used to unlock the door, and hard plastic wedges to protect the paint as best they could.
Just so you know, my only advice is to have a cloth to wrap the metal rod if it does not have a rubber or other protective coating.
I've heard unlocks cost from $50 to $150. You sir paid the most I have ever heard of for an unlock. You can have one sent to your home through Temu.
NEVER EVER STORE IT INSIDE YOUR CAR!
I can not tell you how often I have been told, "I have one of those kits too. It's in there under the seat!" 🤦
I didn't know you could get these @ truck stop so I bought the pieces at Home Depot😅
So the airbags basically pushes the frames of the door out and then he tries to open/pull the door handle with that rod? I am just interested in this technique, I had a Nissan 100 NX, went on a holiday to Hungary with a friend, didn't had a spare key, same situation, went to the camp site owner, he pulled out the glass of the frame (100 NX is easier) and then angled the rod.

I wholeheartedly Agree with You. It does Make a huge Difference and it improves everyone's life. Plus, I went to an underdeveloped country last year and I couldn't Help but Notice that their properties looked Run Down; but I came to the Conclusion that they rather live in filth; trash all over than Pick it Up and put it in the Garbage Truck on the few days it gets to their Neighborhood, plus they rather be Sitting ALL Day Chatting and listening to Loud Music rather than helping their neighbors; and they don't mind living in those Conditions; couldn't help notice the difference, but a lot of times is Not just about One Country being more Wealthy than the other; it's more of a mentality; People Not Doing Anything to IMPROVE the CONDITION in which they LIVE; they Were Supposedly "Poor" but everyone there Carried an Expensive iPhone; that most people in the USA don't have Simply because we rather Pay Our Bills and Solve our problems than to Show off our iPhone to other people; We basically live within our means; Plus there are tons of Community Programs in the USA to help people in Need; like Community Food Banks and Clothing Donations. It's Not what your country Can Do for You; it's what You can do for your country. Basically.

In fact, there's even a new program called "Mow to Own" in Akron, Ohio that even incentivizes neighbors to take care of the property to own it for cheap.

I called AAA. They got there in 20 minutes and rescued my keys. All included in the membership (which is currently $60/yr where I live).
Aw, Spencer, I’m sorry. $300?!? I was angry with $60!😮 You do such great work! Blessings ❤
Do it for the glory of God, He will provide more than $300 to Spencer!
Just stumbled on your channel today and I love when I see ppl like you helping others! Our world would be such an awesome place if everyone had your giving spirit! Can't thank you enough for what you do and all the hard work you put into helping others in need!
Ah, don't be too hard on yourself. You supported a local business and helped folks, too. That's a good day in my book. 😄♥️♥️
Wow. My back hurts just watching you. Such a hard-working young man and so generous to others.
Hard-working handsome
Fix your posture then

Spencer: we are all proud of your hard work and your willingness to keep your community looking great.
good job man!, I was worried for you. That was nice of the cop.
That is so awesome! I'm just a grandma living in a townhouse, but I enjoy seeing you and other young (& youngish) men and women clean up for the elderly and for the neighborhood. I used to enjoy doing that when I had a lot of mowing to do on my old property. It was satisfying to see my finished work. But it's hard work and my wrists can't handle it any more, so I'll have to enjoy it vicariously. Good job, young man!
For less Than half what the locksmith charged you, you can have an annual membership with AAA. They would send a locksmith for free with your membership. I’ve used them so many times.
Love these videos! You are a hard worker. RESPECT!
And since he’s gonna be at this no all day he could wait the 3 hours for them to get there 😅
@@robinm8214they usually come to me in about 45 min
@@robinm8214AAA doesn't do any of that themselves... They call local people who they have contracted with to do the work. It's entirely likely that the same locksmith would have come out in the same time, just without the 300 dollar bill at the end of it. I've used AAA many times and never had to wait any longer than calling a place myself. If they did have long waits, no one would pay for their service.
Me too
TRIPLE A ROCKS WORTH THE ENTIRE 100$ FAMILY PER YEAR rate
I was feeling pretty discouraged about my own yard since my spouse was ill and then died, but I’ve been trying to work hard and methodically to at least keep it from getting worse. But thanks to you and your videos ( and some help from my kids), I’ve bought myself some power tools and have tackled some of the harder jobs! We’re back on the path to a decent yard! (I’m sure the neighbors appreciate it too.)
Knowing u have been sick and your spouse is gone. 😢...... i wish we lived in a world where those neighbors would have helped you with your lawn!!!! Im glad to know ur getting better.
I am sorry for your loss.
@@user-nw5ml7lr2bPeople dont help for free. CZcamsrs may film themselves doing nice things because they make quite a bit of money from views.
If you are close to your neighbors its possible they may occasionally help. In extreme cases like this video, the CZcamsr has a "story" than will get plenty of views. So he isnt working for free. He makes more than actual hired workers make
I'm so sorry for your loss. My Mom passed last year, and my 94 year old Dad is unable to do anything. It is OUR responsibility to take care of all our own family, however we can, one tiny step at a time, as we also have our own farms and homes to do.
I have to pay to have my lawn done and I'm on a fixed income. No neighbors have ever offered to help (unless they get paid).
People today don't interact with their neighbors especially the elderly.
You did an amazing job. You show the rest of us that they are still good people in the world. Keep up the good work!!!
Such hard work but you do it with so much love! You are a wonderful person. God bless you!
I wish that cop had written you a citation. For meritorious good works and outstanding community service. You deserve it.😅
You do great work. Thought of a hide-a-key? It's magnetic and only you know where the key is outside of the cab.😊
Yeah ! after the cop was gone I started daydreaming that he could have left him a card with his number, saying : even though I don't think a fellow officer would make it a problem, here's my number just in case ;) and thank you on behalf of the community !
I second that! I wouldve liked to see his reaction after it was done though.
This guy has a big heart and I tremendously admire his dedication to the good of humanity! Also, he spent $300 to unlock his truck ! I am emotionally impacted with his good natured character! I am positively sure that he has a good upbringing!!!
100% agree. This guy is amazing.
Sometimes we who have been abused at home, vow to do better than our parents.
It is so nice to see something happy and productive for a change !! You are the solution to many problems out there wished there were more caring people ! ❤❤❤
This is so satisfying! I bet the neighbors are thrilled!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
$300.00 Is terrible. I locked my keys in my car 5 years ago and it was $50.00.
That was nice of the Law Officer to stop and talk. Thank you for your service sir and to you too SB. 👏👏
That was ridiculous $300.00 . Only if is a weekend or after 5pm or a Holiday. Otherwise during the week $100.00 max if it is a hard job.
Remember... He is actually doing it for free.
@@rikkekildegaardandersen2794 huh?
I am so glad to see you wearing your mask or kerchief.
@@christinefigari9805 I think what @rikkekildegaardandersen2794 is trying to say SB Mowing is doing the lawn for free, so he's not making 1¢ on this job. That $300 is coming directly out of his pocket.
That's awesome lol, doesn't that make you feel great when you get those surprising interactions?
Don't ever get discouraged whenever you don't see anyone.
I know someone out there is proud of your hard work.
I am Truly Proud of 🫵🏼 Spencer ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ God ❤ A Happy Giver!!!! You'll Always Be Blessed Spencer! It Always Comes Around in Full Circle. You'll Never Know Who's Watching 🫵🏼 Too on CZcams. If no one else is, I’m proud of him. He does such a great job, and it makes my day watching the satisfying transformations.
Awesome job! And the cop walking up was hilarious, I woulda never guessed that's why he stopped to say hello, that's cool as Hell. My primary concern is to be an asset to society; somehow, some way. You sir, are a big asset. Well done!!!
You are one of the most positive people I have ever seen. What a blessing you must be to your family and friends.
$300 is insane. Sorry that guy did that to you. You did a great job! Thanks for all you do.
What a day you had! Amazing work, no gloves, locked out, spent $300, thought you were being arrested! Haha, some days are like that! Thanks for making our day with your video! 😀
