Truly from trash to treasure! No favorite this time. I so admire your perfectionism and professionalism.
Thank you 💖
Wow your videos are getting better! Very professional, very handy tips and tricks. You make it look easy! Thanks J
Thank you 💝💖💕
I'm a recent subscriber and have to tell you how much I love your channel. As a thrifter who loves to reimagine the other guy's castoffs, I enjoy seeing what others do to give new life to old, outdated items. I especially enjoy your videos and have learned so much from you. I've been doing makeovers for years, and find every time I watch one of your videos I discover something I hadn't thought of, or learn how to do something so much easier. You have a beautiful spirit; very calming, very natural and real. You and your hubby both inspire me! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos and share your knowledge.
Thank you for sharing that. We so appreciate you enjoying our content and letting us know
So many favorites. But absolutely loved that envelope with the wood!!!
Aww.. thank you 💝
When I craft I Watch my FAVORITE You Tuber which is YOU!! I so enjoy all of your videos and watch them over and over!! Thank you so much for all of the knowledge you have given me for recreating the items I find at thrift stores/garage sales! I absolutely LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!
Aww..you are so kind. Thank you
I love everything you transform. Beautiful treasures.... nothing looks like it was ever thrifted!
Aww.. thank you.. that’s got to be the best compliment I’ve ever received 🥰
This was a lot of work for you, but it all came out very nice. Great job.
Thank you..
Love watching your tutorials. I always learn a lot. TY
Thank you for sharing that 💝
I love to listen to/watch my favorite ginger CZcamsr!
Aww... thank you 💕
I liked every one! But my favorite, since I love flowers, is the envelope. Wonderful!
Everything is lovely as always Yvonne! 💕
Aww.. thank you Beth 💕
I love them all especially the envelopes and the rabbit!
Aww.. thank you
This is a "save" video. You cover so many tidbits of learned-by-doing info. Learning from other's experience is better than learning by my own mistakes. You are going to have some happy customers when these go in your booths.
Aww.. thank you for sharing that. Yes, it’s all a process.. the in’s and out of it all🤗
I really liked the milk jug, the bunny, and the market craft, not necessarily in that order.TFS!
I chose a career of painting t'shirts, and little canvasses back in 1981so that I could earn money and listen to spiritual and self awareness tapes all day long as I painted in harmony of learning good stuff . I had a wholesale business to gift shops in the Caribbean....Got rich, famous and educated about human beings. Painting is a gift in so many ways. Thanks for asking!🎨🥰🎨
Love that!! Living the dream, Doing what you love💕
Love the items with the stencils.
Thank you 💝
I listen to music as I work! Loved all the pieces!
Love that. Thank you for sharing 💝
I see potential in things that are found as "thrifted". While I craft, I'm either watching/listening to You Tube or having Alexa playing my favorite music. You have such vision as to the outcome of your "flips", l love your channel and am always on the lookout for your videos, thanks for sharing!!
Aww.. thank you for sharing the same vision of potential in unwanted items and what you do while you craft💝
Loved the fresh intro, also seems as if you totally owned your channel tonight. ie...go ginger snap🤓-less apologies, more, this is what we do. It was time for the evolution, surely do admire that. I like music mostly, sometimes you tube. Best to Chris & ginger kitties. Elizabeth
Aww.. thank you for noticing. Trying to be more confident 💪🤗😻
I just love watching you do your magic! Making outdated things relevant for today’s decor is definitely your thing!
Aww.. thank you for watching and sharing that 🖤🤍
I watch you alot an like what you do everytime.
I so enjoy watching you it's so relaxing I know when I do my crafting I listen to my Bible study tapes and it helps me to have a nice safe calm place to craft love your pieces I have learned so much from you each time you share I learned something new thank you so much have a great evening God bless
Oh bless you for sharing that 💖
Wow...just Wow!! My favorites were the cross, the seed bin, and the lavender and lambs ear wall envelope! And yes, I love God winks too! Great job Yvonne!! God bless!
Oh and that cute rabbit was so precious too!!
Aww.. thank you Beth 😉💝
They all turned out beautiful, great vision. My favorite this time was the big one with the 3 stencils with the little cubbies and also love the cross. I collect crosses, mostly metal, loved that little flower and how you did it up. Great job Yvonne!!
I listen to music or an audiobook while painting. Painting is my zen. :)
As always, I loved all the pieces you did, but my favorite was the envelope with lambs ear & flowers. Thanks for all the tips you give as you paint. They are very helpful. God bless
Thank you for watching. Blessed you for sharing that they are helpful 💝
I love it all but that little black sheep got me😊 🐑
Aww.. thank you 🖤
Thank you for always proving so much inspiration!
Hi, I have been subscribed for months now and have watched your videos over and over.Your style rocks!!
You have inspired me to redecorate my home. I'm all about black and white and could never figure out how to incorporate it without looking contemporary. I am going for a romantic French country rustic vibe.
Love love love your videos. Thank you for sharing your all your tips and tricks. Your vision on these peices is incredible. Love from New York 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
Aww.. thank you for sharing that. I’m glad you were able to incorporate it into your home. Hopefully you found it easier than you thought 🖤🤍
I see potential. Love the Fleur de Lis. I listen to my music. Love the envelope and the market basket. And the cubby stand. Oh and the wabbit!
Oh.. I definitely know you see potential in thrift finds. Thank you for sharing and watching 💕
Everything turned out beautiful! Great job!❤️
Thank you for watching
They are all beautiful it's hard to pick a favorite the envelope with the flowers is adorable. Have a blessed weekend! 🙏❤️
Thanks so much 😊
Thanks for the tip about the lint rollers. I love all the farmhouse animals. And the rabbit just in time for Easter. Very nice video today. Thanks again.
Thank you for watching
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Can I say Beauitful just one more time.
Aww..Alice you are too sweet 💝
Thank you so much for this awesome DIY project you’re doing today it’s looking gorgeous it’s amazing what a little black spray paint can do thank you so much this project turned out so pretty when you were finished. Hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy until the next video
Aww.. thank you Sandy 💝
I watch true crime CZcams when I paint\craft. Nothing like stenciling a bunny rabbit and tulips while listening to how twisted Ed Gein was. Oh, and that green-handled brush is for wax. 😁
Love that. Thank you for sharing 😉
Gorgeous pieces. My favorite is the large 3 tiered market rack. I love it.
SWEET!!!! IT ALL LOOKS GREAT!!!! and ... BTW....when I'm painting ( or cleaning the house) I listen to my gospel music... the Gaither's !!!!
Oh.. love that. I’m a contemporary Christian girl myself 💕
@@GingerChickRehab I love different types of music. Country... bluegrass... gospel! I grew up in a music family ! Every weekend we all got together at my grandparents house. Everyone would play ( if they could lol) and we'd sing !!! Best memories I have as a child!
You are so right about that taking over your whole house!! I thought that I was the only one with that problem lol!!
Lol.. nope😁
Really liked watching the makeovers . I love to go thrifting for pieces I can make over to decorate. I have had trouble wet distressing too and I used those scratchy sponge scrubbers. Works great
Oh.. thank you for sharing that tip💝
Oh Hey I love how more confident and at ease you are! You are awesome!!
Aww.. thank you for noticing. I’m trying 💕
Wow! You covered a lot of things today. I loved all the little animals, especially the bunny. And I liked the three layer holder that you put the stenciling on. It turned out quite nice. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you for watching 💝
Along with thrifting and upcycling items, I also paint pictures. You can really get lost in it. I am always thinking about Bob Ross when I'm trying to paint trees! hahah When I'm painting, I am watching or listening to CZcamsrs like you!
Aww.. thank you for sharing that 💖
Everything came out gorgeous as usual! My favorites were the black and white cross and flower sculpture. I had the same problem with chalk paint yesterday on one of my projects. I thinned it out too much and then had to do three coats. I had a heck of a time distressing. Normally I only do two coats of chalk paint at a little thicker consistency, and distress lightly with sand paper.
Oh.. thank you for sharing that. Maybe it’s just how they made the batch from the factory. Who knows. But I do love the finished product. So I guess that’s what matters in the end🖤🤍
“Let’s put a happy little owl in this happy little tree”. My children (now 36 and 39) loved watching Hob Ross when they were little. I think they felt calm with his quiet voice and mannerisms. Your projects look FaBuLoUs!! My fav would be the 2 that flower/seed holder. I like when you give the price you be asking. I’m so glad you posted this video tonight. It’s freezing here in Texas so we are stuck inside for days. There’s not a better way to spend th3 evening than with a Ginger Chick. Check out a new youtuber who upcycles like you....ooops. I want to go get her exact name but I don’t think I can come back to this entry...so, I’ll leave and add another entry. I think you’ll like her.
Oh.. yes I’ve seen you all are getting weather there. 🥶 so glad I could fill up some of your time 💕
I just love everything you do😁
Aww.. you are too kind. Thank you
I loved them all! But all the pieces with the stencils really made me happy! Thank you for sharing!
Oh.. thank you. I know you like adding stencils to your creations too🖤🤍
@@GingerChickRehab I'm trying my hand at crockery stamps finally today! Wish me luck! Have a great day. Keep shining your light... the world needs more if that!
I think that, "I don't know what" brush is either for chalk paint or stenciling, or both, maybe. Ok so if I have to choose a favorite it would be the cross, floral tea light holder, envelope and of course the little bird. Once again you did some fantastic flipping!!! I could watch your videos all day...but then nothing would get done. xx
Aww.. thank you that’s so sweet 💝
I absolutely love the black and white flower that you said was a candle holder, I would just set it out as is. I love all of the the pieces you did.
Yes... thank you for seeing it beauty🖤🤍🌹
Envelope’ black sheep’ and flower and seed holder. Of course i really liked them all .
Aww.. thank you 💝
Everything was great but the envelope with the lavender was my favorite
Thank you
I have learned so much from you. I love how easy you make repurposing look.
Aww.. thank you for watching and sharing that 💝
The lint roller idea is great ! Love everything! Thank you for the tips !
Oh.. hope you found it useful 💕
Hi Yvonne🙂. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful transformations with us. I love the rabbit, sheep and cross. I say it a lot, but I wish I was closer to your booths! ❤️
Aww.. thank you Madonna 💝
Loved how the cross turned out it was just beautiful this is gonna be a gorgeous project
Aww.. thank you
Wow, memories, I remember watching Bob Ross and his happy little trees. Happy little every thing. I loved watching him paint, it was amazing.
My Goodness you guy’s are doing so much,so good, I can’t pick just one I love them all
aww.. thank you
I love the birds and bunny!!
You spend so much time and detail on your up cycles. Love your vision. All the best. Thanks for sharing your skills.
Thank you for watching 💕
Your videos always inspire me..thank you for sharing your work with us. I don't resale but like doing little projects for my home and I always learn something from each of your videos. Happy Valentines Day!
Aww.. thank you Belinda. Happy Valentines Day
Once again, everything is beautiful. I have a clock that I want to paint and the clock face can't be removed. The contact paper is an awesome solution! Thanks!
Oh.. so happy you found that useful 💕
I love all your flips! I have not been able to watch this video until today while I am on my break at work. I have had no electricity due to an ice storm that hit here on Friday and I have not had power since then and don't expect to have power until late Thursday if then. So I needed a GingerChick video to brighten my day. I really love how the envelope wall decor with the floral in it turned out!!!
Oh.. I’m so sorry.. I hope and pray that you are ok and safe. 💕
The white bunny was my favorite piece!
Thank you for sharing 🤍
I also spray a lot of my pieces and I discovered a trigger type handle to use. It clamps onto the top of the can and the trigger puts pressure on the tip. It’s a game changer for sure. My finger no longer gets sore. I found it at either Home Depot or Lowe’s. It’s very inexpensive, Thanks for sharing your tips! I have definitely used some of them 😊
You are so informative!! Thank you for taking the time to record and explain your makeovers!!
Thank you for taking the time to watch 💝
That bunny is soo cute and the birds! You always do a fabulous job.
Aww... thank you for watching and sharing
I absolutely love everything! But my favorite is the clock, I think!
Thank you 🖤🤍
Love the animals, but my fav is the envelope floral arrangement.
You pack so much awesome, related content into one video, thank you for also making it so easy for us to screenshot your projects for later reference at the end with your effective staging!
The envelope was my favorite! Lots of great inspiration, thank you!
Aww.. thank you for watching 💝
LOVE LOVE LOVE your work!
Thank you once again for sharing your techniques! Your Awesome!
Thank you for watching 💝
I love all your thrifted items! I collect faux chocolate bunnies so if that bunny was my thrifted item I would paint him an eggshell brown!
Oh.. that’s neat💖
WOW Yvonne.... you did lots of WORK! They are all amazing ! There are times I can’t pick a favorite because I love them all !!!
I am looking at my galvanized items and I’m thinking of doing the GINGER CHICK Enamel !! I love having it black inside ! Love, love, love it ! I have those Crockery Transfers and want to order more... they don’t hurt my shoulders as much as stenciling...LOL!!! But I love stenciling.... but so easy and I tell you THEY STICK! I tried to get one off because it came out uneven..once you commit...you’re committed on glass, ceramic and some painted items... I worked on taking one Sunflower Bloom off for a couple of days! LOL! What a messy job to take it off....
I would love to sit and paint items all day... but not being a reseller, I only have so much I can paint. But when doing crafts, sometimes its
music or a movie. When watching CZcams I don’t want to miss a thing ....LOL!!
Wonderful work as always ! Stay warm and safe in the snowstorms coming or maybe they aren’t hitting you. We have 12-18 inches coming today and over night. We have 2 ft on the ground...it’s an old fashion winter like when I was a kid ❄️❄️❄️❄️. LOVE IT !
Oh.. can one craft too much🤔I think not. Lol
Oh yes .. once chance and one chance only. Remember perfectly imperfect 😁
Yes the snow has begun here.. not a fan.. but what is one to do❄️🥶
For some reason I saw the black sheep and fell in love! I had no idea I would like him but he’s so cute. You did such a nice job on these flips. Once again, I wish I lived near you so I could check out your booth!
Aww. Thank you Dianna🖤🤍
You did an outstanding job, you really do take trash to treasure!
Aww.. thank you 🖤🤍
I am in heaven you are flipping All of my favorite things! Thanks!
How you know the right thing to do to each piece is beyond me. Genius
🤗🖤🤍
What a lot of great stuff! I love that black sheep and the tiered caddy.
Aww.. thank you Pamela
I love everything but my favorite would have to be the Market. Fresh flowers stand . soooo cute
Aww. Thank you 💕
You are the best!!!! I love all you did this time, every one, I’m want all !!
Congratulations! I don’t know how you can do better and better! Amazing 😍
Aww.. thank you . You are too kind💝
Hi Yvonne love the way you find little items and make them look lovely all the pieces came out really good thanks for sharing. Prayers Blessings to you Chris and both of your families Hugs Mildred!
Thank you
whew! having ginger chick withdrawals this weekend! thanks for ending the weekend with a bang! :) always makes me happy!
Aww.. you are so sweet. Glad you enjoyed it 🖤🤍
When I watch these older videos I can't help but think what would these look like if you had your patina paint then.😍
Great pieces! I really love that ornate wood piece, and the clock. Those pocket watch clocks are so neato! I appreciate the tip on using the clear shelf paper to cover the clock face prior to spraying. That’s such a great idea!! I have several clocks in my stash right now that I will be able to use that skill for. 😊
Oh.. glad you found it useful
I prefer the Rustoleum Chalked Paint for wet distressing. I think it's a lot easier than it is with the Waverly. I'm not big on the Waverly wax either. Everything came out beautiful. I love that little sheep. The envelope came out really pretty.
Thank you so much for sharing that 😉🖤🤍
The new transfer seemed to work very well and I love the result on that envelope with lavender and lamb's ear! The shape of the clock is terrific; I bet your ability to perceive the shape on its own knowing you'll change everything else is a great strength. I also love the signage on the three-tiered stand.
I think the black and white candle stick holder looks elegant. Personally I would go over the white with antique wax. I prefer tha look. good job.
Thank you for sharing that 🤍🖤
Love the cross you've given me an idea. Now I know what I'll do with a cross I have. Thanks
Aww..awesome. Thank you for sharing 💝
Sooo love the black sheep!!!!
Aww.. thank you.. I thought that was fun find🖤
Love the floral mailbox! I just picked up something similar at the thrift store and have a similar vision for it! Thanks for sharing
Love hearing that.. thank you for sharing it🖤🤍
Hi Yvonne. Yep, I experienced a similar frustration with chalk paint too, only a different brand. I switched to DIY clay based paint. It wet distresses wonderfully. You are so meticulous with your work, but with the volume of things you do I would think extra steps needed to the process really slow things down and mess with your MOJO. They did mine. Wonderful work on everything. Great artistry!
Thank you Robin. Once I figured out that’s was what and how I need to distress the items than my mojo was back at it. I just wanted to share the experience and get feedback from others.
So happy to see this - love the black sheep - I collect sheep., but love seeing you work on all of them. Thanks for the lint roller hack - that is great. I added air dry clay to a couple small glass pieces. One I stamped with a word stamp from my vast collection and the other I made an imprint to hopefully later glue a coffee dyed jar label. I did some thrifting yesterday and got more than I needed, but think I’m doing better at picking things that I will be able to make over. Can’t wait a time when we can go together.
Aww.. love hearing this. Thank you for sharing 💝
I love them all! You were great tonight, take care
Aww.. thank you 💖
I see farmhouse decor for my booth and money in my pocket when I see thrifted picks. As always love the items you pick to redo.
Oh.... love that vision 🖤🤍
It’s so hard to pick a favorite because they are all so different and all so beautiful. Because I’m wanting one of those metal storage bens and have been looking for one I’ll say that is my favorite. I also love the envelope. Well done!!
Aww.. thank you Linda. Hope you find one💝
I like all of the pieces, but my 2 favorites are the night light and the buckets.
Aww.. thank you 🖤🤍
I liked the envelope best ,actually I liked them all.well done.
Aww.. thank you 💕
I love everything. You do such a great job. When I paint I get so tense, my back hurts.😂 But I only do it for my self, not to sell. Thanks for all the tips.
Oh.. it just paint 💕
As usual everything looks awesome. I love the flower caddy!🤍♡🤍♡🤍
Aww.. thank you 🖤🤍
Thank you for your inspirations and sharing!
Gotta love the candle holder! But I think the market flower caddy is my favourite piece. Good find!
Oh.. thank you 💕
