Hi Friend's and CZcams Family,
Today's video is a thrift store flip. A trash to treasure. Lots of bread boxes that were in dyer need of new life. I definitely saw the beauty of what they could be. So heres the process of how we gave these nine bread boxes a new chance to live on with a makeover.

Favourite one natural wood one beautiful
In my furniture re-finishing days I had a Hoosier cupboard with a big roll top that had fallen apart into sticks. NO CZcams back then but glue and canvas is what I used, just like you did it, and it still works great after 20 years. Beautiful bread boxes you & Chris re-created!

You put so much effort into making them amazing! When people ask if you get back your labor value back in your retail price. You must work partly for the love of the art and saving an old piece and making it new because that's so much work. But they look so very nice.!

Yvonne, I've found that a sewing seam gauge with a sliding maker helps with placement on a piece rather than a large ruler, always wanting to pass on helpful tips. Thanks for all you and Chris do, and passing on your knowledge, I've learned soooo much from you.

I use plastic snack bags to put all my screws and hinges for each item. No mixing them up.

I dont think people 'dont get it' , its prob more that most people that do this, do it for extra money or as a side thing and maybe NOW more than ever, to earn extra income after losing their main income bc their state is closed down....BUT MOST people dont have a set up like this, tools or a place to do this kind of thing or even someone else to help them...so its not really a normal thrift and flip. This is more a professional redo if you will. The title is misleading. Its nice, but for most "thrift and flippers" this isnt helpful because they CANT do this or even come close. It prob makes them feel like they SHOULDNT be flipping bread boxes or things like it because they CANT do this do this.
You two amaze me how beautiful those bread boxes ended up after all those hours of care 🤩🤩🤩🤩👌👌👍👍 Bravo 👏 👏 👏

My favourite from word go was the one that needed the new glass putting in and it's still my favourite when you finished, we own a top loaded which my daughter has pryrographed free hand a harvest mouse on corn so wood never change that,but I'm finding when they all come home a french /tiger/sour dough loaf that they dont fit in the box, so I'll be on the look out for a longer one. Very big haul but well worth it they looked lovely xxx
