I’m not crazy about the new look. Plus having every car have the same setup isn’t exclusive or cute. The fact that the S-Class had that exclusivity feel to it makes it that much better. But now the C-Class has the same front end pretty much for WAYY less money. BMW however they have a similar thing to each car but there’s a DEFINITE difference and it pains me to say it because again I always loved my MB

I've owned several Mercedes S Classes, I recently switch to BMW 750 and looks like I will get the new BMW 760. I've seen many new S Classes on the road and it does not stand out and BMW 7 Series had the rear seat tablet first. I have one in mines. BMW has taken the top spot in my opinion.
BMW murdered Mercedes on this. It's just too luxurious. Maybe it's because everything inside the BMW is different and never seen before. For example, the thick glass panel that displays the ambient lighting. Even the front seat is crazy
I like the styling of both exterior wise. I actually do like the bmw styling on the outside it looks crazy futuristic especially in the all black or 2 tone black top gray bottom. Mercedes is of course nice also. I feel like bmw could found another intricate screen display than the one piece long glass but it does look crisp. I myself probably go bmw

They both look great, the difference being that the bmw's interior looks a little bit more modern and the s class's interior looks more classic modern.
I always loved BMW more then any car in the world I was driving a mustang when I sold my BMW and it wasn't the same without that the technology and power I was looking for so I got rid of my lease with mustang and decided to buy a 6 series m package and I love it BMW is where it's at my hit me a BMW 6 series from 2007 was my first BMW and I felt in love with all the technology it had then the Mercedes slk that I really wanted but the only down fall he got me a coupe not the convertible version and I always love convertibles now I'm driving a newer 6 series with the m package I'm happy
Mercedes interior is quite dated and not future proof. Here despite the brown interior and ambient lighting on and being the 4 seater lounge version..it still doesn't loom as good as the BMW interior. You can't shove black piano plastic trim and screens everywhere

Im a Mercedes guy, have owned 3 different s class’s before an I must say I would take this bmw over the new S class. Bmw nailed this design. Not a fan at all of the screens in the Mercedes..
@@publicsectordirect982 back seat structure in the lower leg part and main screens architecture, to be honest when mercedes switched to vertical central screen, horizontal looks way more comfortable to use. For me BMW obviously won that round, 7s looks like its ahead of its time, while Merc doesnt seem like a big step ahead of the previous 222 generation

Mercedes benz s class has always been ahead of time I remember when the previous generation s class came out with the 12 inch tablet screen people were bashing and highly critical of the design and now look the bmw 7series years later have placed a table like screen for digital gage cluster speedometer odometer etc.
Just a reminder that the Merc shown here has been launched a couple of months ago already. That BMW is still to be launched. But that BM does look amazing. I'll take the Merc though thanks

@@Lakersballz I don’t know where you got any of that from but the new S class just came out last year therefore they are both the redesigned flagships. The only prototypes of the s class currently is the AMG which is the current gen s class.
@@daronkendrick this S class is 2 years old and will be getting a face lift(update) soon. It came out in Sept 2020 even though it's the 2021 model. Just like this 2023 7 series is available right now in Sept 2022. So the point still remains that there is a big gap(2yrs) between the launch of these cars. Had Mercedes been on the same release schedule that BMW is on, and also released a brand new S class right now it would look more like the new EQXX. This S class is already an "old look" for Mercedes. The only cars they have released in the last 2yrs look nothing like this

Bmw fan but there are some Mercedes that are just Incredible and Mercedes interior is incomparable in my opinion (between bmw and mercedes)but there’s could be some debate between some bmw and Mercedes cars
The design language in the bmw is more cohesive the Mercedes’ Benz it just doesn’t flow as well still very nice the Mercedes’ Benz interior but the bmw wins the screw is manageable and well intergraded where the Mercedes screens look tacked on
I’ve always been a Mercedes person with BMW second but I think BMW really outdid themselves this time. The 7 series looks BEAUTIFUL

The S Class interior is alright but the BMW's cabin is a whole new level of sumptuously high-tech! They really put thought into everything in there.
