This video is absolutely fantastic not only from an educational standpoint but from a cinematic production point as well. This should be a television show and quite frankly it’s so well done it feels like one. I’ve been in the wine industry for 28 years and it is still a journey.
Steve - thank you for the kind words! We work hard to make high quality content, so I really appreciate you saying that. Can't wait for you to watch some of our other episodes!
Totally agreed..
Was thinking the same , the amount of hrs put into this video must be incredible. Thanks for sharing ,good job👍🏼
Bravo! the quality of the show, mixed with the incredible content is truly magnificent. This should be a TV show, it's just that well done.
Wow, thank you Gary! More episodes to come!
?
Yeah,it is extremely well done on all fronts.
The smile always on your face is refreshing
I don't know why there are so few subscribers on this high-quality channel. As a Korean who loves wine, I love this channel. Thank you for posting a good video! ❣❣
Thank you for the love all the way from Korea! Hope to visit one day!
exactly. this channel is a diamond
+ 1
Should have million subs, insane content
i agree, great content!
This is some seriously professional TV level production. Well done! I will keep recommending the channel to everybody!
Thank you so much! It’s the #1 way we grow!
This is really a great museum. So advance and modern yet still have the tradition and culture. Bravo
It's worth the trip to Bordeaux alone!
I still can't believe the level of quality and dedication that goes into each of your videos. This is on par with some of the best high-production documentaries I've seen, if not better. I watch all the seasons in order as they came out and each one is better than the last. You even managed to bring me closer to Bordeaux, towards which I had some kind of repulsion, which I saw when watching the episode that it is normal and a common phenomenon in general. Because of all the above you have a new VIP member, thank you for the excellent content and just keep doing what you are doing. And yes, an episode about Eastern Europe and the Balkans would be great, I think that very good wines are made in Serbia, Macedonia and Croatia
France is so lovely country! Thank you for this episode with marvelous views and nice narration.
Of course, thanks for watching!
This is a fantastic documentary, you completely nailed it! 🎉 all parts are produced to a very high standard. These people must be professionals, it’s better than some of the content from the BBC!
Thank you! I think you'd be surprised how small our crew is! haha We do a lot with a little! Check out some of the other episodes, I think you'll enjoy them!
SOOOOOO glad and grateful I found your channel. This is on a whole other level. Gorgeous, delightful, and very satisfying to watch... and I learned a ton!!! Bravo Vince and team!!
Thanks Shawn!
It's crazy how CZcams works asynchronously and you find gems when you least expect them. This is an absolutely gem and kudos to you Vince, stunning imagery, edition and contend. Every channel here should aspire to be at your level. I am saving this!!!!
Thank you Rod!! So happy you found us, and thanks for the kind words. Excited for you to watch the other episodes!
I just found your channel. Amazing episode! Everything about it, the cinematography, the food, the history, and obviously the wine. I have been living in France for a few years now and have only seen a bit of Bordeaux. You have certainly opened a couple of doors with this video and made me want to get back there. Well done. I look forward to exploring more of your content.
CAPTAIN! haha I’m so excited to have you on board. Thanks for the kind words, and excited for you to watch more episodes!
That's clinched it ! As an 'elderly' Brit who has lived in France for years my interest in wine has now taken a turn...will rent lodgings for a month and take my work with me ( English online teacher) and already arrive there with more knowledge thanks to your great channel ! Merci !
Yes, I’m glad! Enjoy!!
Another great episode! As always, we love the maps! We don't really know much about the Bordeaux region (or France for that matter), so the seeing the maps, hearing the history, and seeing the sights, was wonderful! Love that you met some nice families and we enjoyed learning about the differences between the left bank and right bank styles. Great, great video!!
Thank you for appreciating the maps- there were SO MANY this episode and they were hard to make! But I do think it really helps put the region in perspective!
This was an awesome video! I'm adding Bordeaux to my bucket list! That museum is everything!
Isn't it?!
Hermoso, saludos desde Chile 🇨🇱🍷😉.
0'30" and 18' Château Vénus. It's really near my house. Great idea to see Bordeaux Vignobles by plane.
How cool! I probably have a shot of your house somewhere in our extra footage! haha
Amazing! Thank you for this beautiful View in Bordeaux
I love Bordeaux. I felt like I relived it again through your amazing show. Bravo!
Vince! I just found your channel and I’m so impressed with content and videography. Kudos to your team! Will be a VIP member shortly. I’m planning my first French vacation for next year and your shows are helping develop my itinerary. Thank you!
Thank you so much! France is so awesome, you’ll have a great time. And we’d love to have you as a VIP member! We have a members only FB group that would actually be a big help as you plan your trip too!
Couldn’t have seen a better representation of one of my favourite places on earth, thank you!!
Best part of the day = a new V is for Vino episode! It’s a travesty that you are so underrated. Definitely sharing the channel with as many folks as I can - they need to know what they are missing out on!
Thank you for sharing! It's the #1 way we grow; we're getting there, slowly but surely!
These videos literally make me feel like I am there with you. I’ve always wanted to go to Bordeaux and this solidified my wish. I will watch this again and work on my trip. Thank you for this!
Thank you for the kind words, hope you get to visit soon!
How did I just discover this? This is incredible and the production values are fantastic. I hope a network or Hulu picks you up.
Thank you, happy to have you on board! Next episode in two weeks!
I live in Bordeaux for 20 years, and the video managed to make the city beautiful, even tho i know almost all of it. Good job
Wow, thank you! That means a lot coming from someone who lived there!
Hi Leo, thinking of retiring in France (I am American with German father and Irish mother) so not the typical American. Enjoy cooler climates….what region of France would you recommend I focus on? Merci.
@@ApriliaRacer14 Hi, pretty difficult question tbh because i didn't saw all France. First of all, it depends if you like calm region or cities with a lot of people. Also, if you like the sea, or the moutain, or the large green field/campaign. For example, Bordeaux is a pretty good example of that because you have the ocean, lake, campaign/vines and the Pyrénées (a chain of moutains) in a 2 hour drive. I will need more information to be accurate but i can already say that if you like cooler climate, the south west and south east of France might not be a good idea. We had several 40°+ just this summer, and it can be pretty difficult to handle but it depends what you call cooler climates 😅
I have been watching wine programs, documentaries, movies etc for the last 20 years. This is certainly one of the best ones that I have seen! Highly entertaining and educating…very well done!
Thank you! Check out some of our other episodes, I think you'll like them!
This was a great experience for a native of the Mosquito coast. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this wonderful content about Bordeaux wine culture ♥️

And love atmosphere there ❤
Such a great vibe there!
Hi ! Bordelaise here, just make sure to ask for a " chocolatine " and never say the world " pain au chocolat " when you go to a barkery !
Haha good to know!!
Wonderful ! Everything is just perfect. Thank you for presenting the region I live in (close to Saint-Émilion) in such a wonderful, informative and entertaining manner.
Thank you, I’m so glad we did it justice!

You should!

Jose Antonio Haua Maauad- excelente video, deberían subtitularlo para que lleguen a más personas
This is gold! Feels like I’m watching the travel channel!
Amazing video, very informative content and detailed explanation of the Bordeaux region as well as wines
Happy it helped!!
My comments are getting repetitive, but here we go: yet another great episode!
Technically speaking it's perfection, be it the editing, the music, the landscapes acting as background for the stories being told... and this is, for me, the major difference from any other wine-dedicated show or chanel: you are telling a story and we just get involved in it and feel like we are actually there meeting those people and experiencing it all. Bliss.
As for Bordeaux, I haven't visited for several years and now I just have to go and see that amazing museum! Also great to learn they are exploring new avenues outside the classical chateaux. It's fundamental - for the wine industry as a whole - to get new generations onboard. And your show is a tremendous tool to help achieve this.
I have to admit that I grew a bit tired of those wines and it's been a few years since my last bottle of Bordeaux (Portuguese and Italian wines are enough to fill up several lives...). This episode made me want to check on all their novelties.
Keep up the excellent work!
Wow, them some kind words Monsal, thank you! I'm so glad you see that. I've always said, there will always be people smarter than me, who know more about the wines than I do. But whats always been important to me is the people, the place, and the story. And I've found I do have a good knack for showing that. Finally in season 4 I feel like we are hitting our stride in that regard, and it means a lot you notice!
Absolutely fantastic . Thoroughly enjoyed this one ! I have vicariously travelled to Bordeaux through you !
Thank you Dhruv! Hope you can visit it one day, it's worth it!
This is the first time I've watched you, but won't be the last. You explain and clarify so many things about the region that I feel like I took a course. Thank you , Loved it all so much, except maybe the wet rocks reference.😁
So glad its helping!!
Amazing. My heart is in California but my dream is to experience Bordeaux.
Beautiful, emotional and Awesome as always👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you!
thank you for this video! been studying about wine and it was such a huge help. So many things to learn. Thank you!
So glad it helped! Bordeaux is definitely a must learn for wine lovers.
Just recently found your channel because I am trying to get ready for our first France trip! We will be staying around 3 days in Bordeaux. Thanks for an amazing video! I loved the blend made in sharing the experience, explaining about the places visits, and the way it is filmed, it made me feel already in there with you guys lol
I don't know what to expect on this trip but I am positive we will have some good memories and learn more about wine. Have you all a great week =) 😀
So glad you can visit in person!! FYI, we put all the episode locations on our website in case you want to visit them!

Thank you, happy to have you on board!
I love your videos. Very high quality and you are an awesome teacher!
Thank you! 😃
I just discovered this channel a couple of weeks ago with the episode of Rias Baixas.
Congratulations to you and your team, it is an amazing job. The quality of the videos is superb, including the selection of the wineries, the cultural hints, the food pairing with master chefs, the scripts, the drone images, etc all rounded with excellent video editing work.
I have visited the club. I recommend extending the wine club selling to Europe.
Thank you Gabriel! So happy to have you on board, and thank you for the kind words! Looking forward to a lot more episodes! We actually have all sorts of European members of our Vino VIP club! It's a virtual club, so anyone around the world can join! (We do partner with a retailer in the US to offer the some of the wines, but we don't have a club. We'll unfortunately never be able to ship wine to Europe because of shipping laws in the US- we can't even ship to all 50 states.)
Your videos are presented beautifully, and the content is top-notch! The production quality really shines through, and I appreciate the effort you put into creating such an engaging and informative video.
Thank you!!
Randomly stumbled on this video. Very glad I did!!
Happy to have you!!
This video is an excellent introduction to the great Bordeaux wine region! My experience with wine began years ago in Spain, but the fame of French wine quickly led me to explore the wonderful wines of the Bordeaux region. I tried numerous "affordable" wines and found there are very many fine wines that don't break the bank. Then I branched out and tried many wines from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, South America and Australia. I didn't buy any Bordeaux for years. Now I am back to really appreciating Bordeaux. There are so many styles, flavors, qualities, and surprises.
I did similar! I think we all start in Bordeaux, and then we get in in our heads that the classic regions are too on the beaten path and want something new. But eventually, you learn they are popular for good reason!
I really enjoyed this episode! Very well done and very enjoyable. Just like a fine wine from Bordeaux!
Thanks Eddie!
This is awesome. Thanks for doing this.
Of course! Check out our other videos, you'll like them!
Loved it!

Awesome to have you on board!
Congratulations, amazing trip! I love Bordeaux wines...
Thanks Jacir!
Awesome job and video V! Man what a great production too. Great shots and views. Bordeaux is one of my favorite regions especially Saint-Émilion. You have now convinced me to add a trip to Bordeaux. Was really happy too that Chateau Plaisance make the vid. My very first venture/wine into Bordeaux was the 2000 Chateau Plaisance which I still have a few bottles of. Man the wines and the pairings looked (I'm sure tasted) great! I made a donation on your site to help out and and my continued support to you and the crew. Keep up the great work. Salud!
WOW! Thank you so much for the generous contribution George! Really above and beyond, I'm speechless. Honored to have you as a fan and supporter, much love! By the way, those 2000's must be drinking beautifully right now!!
@@visforvino It was my pleasure V! Many thanks for the gift/wine glasses. I'll be breaking them in (not breaking them...lol) with my wine my dad who is my wine partner. Already got the wine picked out. Oh yeah...and yes...the Plaisance (2000) is still drinking great! Salud!
As an importer, lecturer on wine, former retailer and wine aficionado, my praise for your video is well justified. You've distilled some of wine's complexities to crystal clear imagery and applicable facts. Well done - Bravo. Jim Galtieri
Thanks so much Jim! Yes, breaking down Bordeaux was a bit of a monumental task, glad you feel we did it justice!
Just found you channel and I love you videos man! Such great information and I love the "documentary" format.
Welcome aboard! Thank you!
What a refreshing take on Bordeaux!
Thanks Mark! It was fun to show a different side than what's usually talked about!
@@visforvino didn't realize Bordeaux had up and coming producers. More respect now for those random bottles I come across labelled as Bordeaux but wasn't too sure abou! Looks like the region has a lot more to offer than just tradition.
Great video! I learned a lot. You have certainly earned at least one new subscriber!
Happy to have you on board!
Fabulous!
Another fantastic episode. Loved it! A tad envious of the Lebanese food they prepared for you. I am half Syrian and it all looked SO delicious. What a treat!!

Thank you from Sydney Australia for this wonderful video.
Thank YOU so much! Hoping to do an Australian episode soon!
I love blended reds. I've never previously thought about blended whites. A great show. I felt transported away watching the food and wine pairing at the end. In fact I went upstairs and poured myself a red. A blend of mine ( home winemaker here) - Cab Sav, Merlot & Malbec. Well done. A great video.
Thanks Craig! And Your blend sounds delicious 👍
You’re amazing. Thank you for your productions
Thank you!
Thank You a lot! Was thinking pf passing the opportunity of visiting bordeux! Now definitively visiting
Yes, you'll have a great time!
You guys nail it, every time.
Thank you!
This just randomly came onto my youtube suggestions and wow what a great watch! Ill certainly be looking into supporting the channel :)
Finally you mentioned you werent aware of any regions in the world with a similar gravel soil to the left bank, well let me suggest Margaret River in western Australia, just 3 hours down the road from me. Really looking forward to checking out more of your content!

Thanks Kris!! Yes, it would be an amazing city to live. And for sure, Burgundy episode WILL happen, it's just a matter of when! Can't have a wine show and not talk about Burgundy, am I right?
@@visforvino couldn’t agree more!
I clicked this because I got engaged in Bordeaux and fell in love with the city more than the wines, however this was such a well produced vid that I'm now a subscriber. And maybe I'll even sign up. Well done
Yes!! So glad you found us, and thanks for the love!
What a great video on Bordeaux! 🏰🍇🍷🤩 Yes, people here are super friendly. I noticed Daisy (Sichel) and Marc (Perrin) on the boat ride. 😄
Yes! Good eye on the boat. They are amazing people!
Another great video and have to echo the production quality praise! 🤓 just one wine nerd moment.. Mouton was 2nd growth til 1973. These are my new favorite bottle opening weeknight videos
