Great review.... at the end during cleanup... I would leave all parts opened up to dry out before putting everything back together for storing. I almost feel like you could put the unit upside down over your sink and use a sink sprayer to spray that area where the brushes are to help get any loose debris off since that area is a little hard to get ...being careful not to get water where it shouldn't be of course.

Does this leave clumps of wet hair/dirt behind like the bissel turboclean powerbrush?

I didn’t have that experience maybe because I vacuumed the carpet before I use this cleaner.

To some extent it happens with all carpet cleaners. They are meant to clean dirt, not hair so it's going to ball up get left behind.
