Such a real shame that these fast waterbirds are such SCARCE!!!! in the UK & only a very few exist. less than 15% of what we use to see on our waters ( passenger ferry going ones are almost sadly ZERO!!!! ( i think only 3 are stil in full working & use today on the south coast two in actual use while one is kept as a spare or repairs etc, etc. & the very few others are used by the likes of the R.N.L.I O.K they are not cheap on fuel & not exactly quiet. But, efficient for such places like soft sand ( quicksand) & beaches where land vehicles would have a terrib!e time struggling to get to the casualty & boats absolute no chance. So the hovercraft is worth its weight in gold in more ways than one not just as a pleasure trip but, more so as a rescue unit for the rescue units like of R.N.L.I & other rescue services a availab!e throughout the world but, the UK they seem to be more of a rare sight SADLY!!!
These things should be built like yachts, with cabins, kitchens bathrooms, and a place for a car and helicopter
