Hello Anna, thankyou for your videos!
Can you talk about an big orchestra event, how to dress up, how to behave but most importantly how to meet a new person at this kind of event. Thanks
Hi Anna, could you re do the video about things that don't make you look classy (owning rickety car, phone etc ). You did it before but took it down, that video was really good. Re make it please with different wording if at all. Thanks in advance ☺
LV handbags. So overrated, and everyone carries these bags. Basic IMO.
Dear Anna,
I must say I have a point to make regarding the fur topic. Of course we should stop producing fur products. I am very much against buying new fur. However, in my opinion it's important to think further about how we treat animals in general. If a fur coat is passed down from let's say my grandmother to me, it would be more unethical and wasteful to not wear the coat. I think it we can show our respect to the animals who already died for the coat (sometimes not even) in a greater way and wear the garments. Instead of letting them rot on clothing racks, we should wear them proudly. Get them tailored to fit better even. In these ways we really respect the animals we so much love.
Any bag with printing all over it means that's the only luxury item they can afford. It's like, "congratulations, you're solidly in the middle class now!" 👍
"Focus on developing your own style instead of relying on designer items to give you style" Very much said 👏🏻. Some celebrities aren't really fashionable, they just wear luxury brands to look "fashionable".
True!
Agreed
Absolutely
Indeed, most likely they are paid to wear them
Indeed
You may have all the brand names in the world but nothing beats good manners and proper grooming ✨💕
Agree. You can look elegant and stylish without brand names and be a classy lady with classy manners.
Yup. My dad always says “you can’t buy class” (meaning manners and how you act and treat people, not like social “class”)
I concur 💕
I have both
Nothing beats class!
Well said Anna! Wearing all these things together feel so performative.
Heyyyy arvin
followed you and anna, and find this very funny😂
Omg it's so cool to see you here Arvin!
Omg! 😱 fan of both!
I have seen affluent women wear all those except for non leather LVMH
Growing up in a very comfortable family household, we couldn't give two licks about high end fashion. We are more interested in investing our money, compound interest is our two favorite words!!!
Please don't go into debt to look rich, in the end it doesn't work and you have a mountain of bills to pay for. Save your money, invest what you can and live within your means! There's pride in being your best self, respect for your fellow person, kindness , politeness and a work ethic is what l was taught as a child.
Shari Schmidt Best comment ever!
Love this comment ❤️
@@lindat1317 l agree with everything word you said! Spend your disposable income on experiences that you will build wonderful memories on.🙂
Very well put, Shari.
I totally agree with this, I am all for re investing. I dont care about high end fashion for the sake of living the lifestyle but I do appreciate good style
The biggest thing to remember about fashion is Celebrities are paid/sponsored or collab with these brands! WE PAY ladies!!
You’re so right about that!
Yes, so true!
I so agree. My grandmother used to say “A little bit of what you fancy does you good but too much is greedy.” She was talking about food but I think it works with fashion too. Too many obvious logos splashed all over you and you may as well be walking around with a sign saying, “nouveau rich,” written on your forehead.
Thrifting is my absolute go to. I've found timeless pieces I've worn 10 years past for less than 5 dollars. plus, I feel awesome knowing that I can fix something, remake it into something new, while helping save mother earth in my own little way ^_^
I scored a Burberry trench for $15.
Or buy something something secondhand for $5 and have it tailored to your body shape for $15. Then you've only spent $20 but you're wearing something impeccable!
Yaaasss love thrifting too! I mix and match 🥰
Agree.. a lot of my clothes are designer items and i get compliments on my outfits all the time.
I bought a second hand orange silk j Crew Blouse with mother of pearl buttons 10 years ago . I wear it everytime I go to interview for a job. Its my good luck charm . My second Lauren Ralph Lauren pieces last very well and aregreat on my thin frame. All my purses are second hand Dooney and Burke I get complements on them all the time. I also manages to get a Burberry scarf for 8$ ! When you know how to shop and where to shop and have a specific style cut color and fit in mind when buying second hand -you will always look put together
If I’m going to be walking around with a company’s logo visibly on me, they better be paying me for it.
Great point 😂
I never understood why people are wearing things with logos. They are transforming themselves in walking adds, and even paid a lot of money for it. I definitely agree with you Lady!
Really-what about a LV bag?
@@azra6706 same thing
@@azra6706 everything else aside, it looks very ugly
"focus on developing your own style instead of relying on designer brands to give you style" powerful 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
We really need more CZcamsrs to promote the concept of being a luxury minimalist. Some CZcamsrs’ unboxing videos are perfect examples of human greed. They have nothing to do with style or taste.
I am 50 and retired so I understand the younger crowd wanting to dress to impress. As for me - Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, DKNY - maybe that's too old lady for some women here. I just want to emphasize Anna's point in finding your own style. Shop the designers who work for you. Quit being so trendy. Think in terms of looking your best which means - classic not "classy"
LOVEEE all the brands you mentioned. Ralph Lauren is my favorite.
Love these brands.. also White House black market.
These are some of my faves.
How did you retire at 50?
agree, classic is elegant
Take a look at Bree Van de Kamp from "Desperate Housewives" for instance. I never really noticed her owning designer items and walking with everything designer from head to toe. Yet, she was THEE classiest out of the whole friend group. It was about the way she walked, talked and presented herself that made her look elegant. *You really don't need millions to look elegant. Less truly is more!*
Even Evelyn from Maids
Van anything sounds like old money. The Dutch are good at saving and passing down wealth. They also take really good care of their stuff and make it last. Just my observations growing up around them.
It would be great if Anna made a video about her! I forgot how classy she was!
OMG I agree Bree was the classiest of all from her hair, her clothes to the way she carried herself.
I agree with Evelyn from devious maids too.
Lol! My favorite character with my style 😁 definitely love the "if you know you know"
Omg Anna I completely agree with you I am so glad I have never followed the designer trend, I always found it tacky and overrated! And as an influencer I am glad I never went astray haha xxx
@@Valeria-jy1ti
She loves an expensive millionaire lifestyle. 😁🇨🇭
🙄🙄🙄🙄
Loooool it's obvious you try hard to be classy Rumena.
But your a try hard
Anna can you do a video on how to dress casually yet elegantly for occasions like going to the gym/yoga, walking the dog, running a quick errand, in the car all day long etc? I feel like that’s where I really struggle. You’ve given great lounge ware tips and can’t wait to see what you come up with!
From my understanding, Anna is not saying don’t wear your logo brands, simply wear them as a single item, with class and style.
Love from Greece soon to be UK. X
Thank you for speaking about unethical cruelty of fur coats. I appreciate it so much
Fur coats etc. are beautiful but I would rather see the fur on the live animals. I hate the killing of of any animal for no good reasons
@@lindahollander3588 make sure you don’t eat meat and eggs
@@ferrero_rocher_ well we gotta eat,I came from a long line of farmers and hunters, we would have starved if didn't have it cause we were poor. I guess we had a good reason to eat it.
@@lindahollander3588 there is a good reason. Fur is warm and better for the environment than other materials. They also last for many years if taken care of properly.
I love fur.
@@LinA-it9vd Fur is murder and cruelty!
I think part of the problem with the Balmain blazer is that every high street store has a knock off of it.
True.
It's such a blessing to be content, happy and able to help others
I totally agree, I am not free ad material. Even when I was much younger, I didn’t want the logo to be the star. The cut, the fit, the material, the style, and feeling beautiful and confident is what matters. The logo has to be discreet or I will not buy the item 🤷♀️
I've never understood that logo business splashed on the front of s shirt! About 30 years ago, Guess was the big thing. Certain family members were/are slaves to the brand names. They would even advertise for Old Navy! That's not the highest end brand to brag about. The purse thing is crazy these days
I had to leave yet another comment my dear Anna! I look forward toy our content every Sunday and I find that every video has a take away message for someone who is learning to level up in life. Thank you so much for your advice and insight.
Sincerely,
Maitri
All together designer makes you a walking target for muggers too. My brother found this out in Paris, where I like the metro, but understated is safer.
This! If they can recognize something is valuable, there is always a person who will want to take it from you. People have been murdered here in Florida for their flashy designer items.
When buying luxury, avoid trends. There are piece that become tacky. The general idea is stop following influencers and start curating your own personal style. When you are making a point of trying to show people your financial status or for some people poor spending habits it looks cringy. The clothes should never wear you. I recommend vintage rather than trends and pieces that are classic. I would rather someone ask me wear that piece is from, luxury houses make enough money from us already.
influencers are the worst thing on the internet, really.
Well said. " try to develop your own style instead of relying on brands to give tou style" ❤️❤️ Love it!
Only speaking for myself personally here, but I love the "if you know, you know" sort of items. Handbags from Aspinal of London, Bvlgari and the suchlike. I keep my clothes (and generally my shoes) as logo free as I can but that is genuinely just personal taste. I love that other people have the confidence to rock logo items but I am just too conservative in my tastes for that!
Aspinal of London is not a luxury brand. It's a good quality though, and is even worn by royals...
Thank you for mentioning the Aspinal brand. I took a look at their site and there are quite a few very nice handbags. I never heard of this brand (US) but I'm glad I found it. Thanks again.
@@Rwissam1987 it actually is considered a luxury lifestyle brand at an affordable cost.
I don't wear ANYTHING that is designer but I am complimented all of the time on my style. It's really about developing your own personal look!!! Pay attention to style, develop a passion and figure out what works for you and makes you look best. There are many looks that I appreciate on others (eg. baggy, shapeless items) that do nothing for me, so I avoid them. Also, avoid those looks everyone else is wearing (dainty layered necklaces!) if you want to avoid looking basic.
Basic = classic. I guess I’m basic.
FYI At work peps said I looked as if I walked off a billboard. I wore clothes that made feel pretty and happy. Be yourself!
Sounds like a good video but I think the Balmain blazers are gorgeous and timeless xx
Agreed
yess especially in red oh myy😻😻😻
It was pretty, but now when I see that blazer, I immediately think 'basic' (no offense)!
@@LA-wv7gfYes I wrote this prior to the video but I can see what she means nowxx
@@LisaF777 I think you mean classic.
Love how you stand for the animals! True elegancy does not need hurt! Such inspiration! Thank You!
“It’s how you tie everything together” noted!! Thank you so much Anna for this guidance..
The balmain style blazers are really classy and timeless if you know how to wear it :)
Yes but the padded shoulders have had their day.
Class never goes out of style, regardless of what's trendy. ♥️
The Balmain jacket is simply exquisite!
I enjoy your videos, even though I don’t aspire to be an “elegant lady”. Wearing all that stuff makes you a target for criminals as well as others who have bad intentions such as some false “friends”. I live in Los Angeles and you can check the news about all the people in fancy places like Beverly Hills who have been robbed at gunpoint of their expensive watches, etc. The the lesson of Anna, as I see it is, don’t be flashy or show off. Be quietly elegant.
So true. I am from Mpls. An ostentatious car, glitzy jewelry is dangerous here.
I personally loathe the diamond encrusted watches. Who thinks it looks good? They're appalling. If worn at all, it should be at night only.
Nah… the Balmain blazer is cut to perfection. It can’t be topped. The rest I mostly agree with.
I recently watched your “this Morning” interview of 3 years ago. It’s pretty clear to me that the woman that interviewed you did not understand your message at all. I also think she might of been a little jealous. Take note of how she also ignored the gentleman that stated that she also improved her looks and that she didn’t look like that when they met. I think she ignored him because she was basically discouraging you for changing your appearance for men. Which we both know is not the case.
Keep up the great work you are doing you are an inspiration to many. Keep changing lives ❤️
Brava Anna!!!! Fur is not elegant... cruelty is far from elegant. Thank you for saying it!!!! Hope you have a lovely summer.
Anna, I am so over Louis Vuitton. I don’t know why. I cringe but still haven’t sold my Berkeley.
When I shop for luxury I always looked for brands that not everyone was wearing, my faves were always Cacharel, Nina Ricci and Hugo Boss.
And Chloe.
Thanks Anna! I absolutely love the sac de jour bag as well! I gifted one myself on my birthday. Such a classy bag!
I got a Sac De Jour because of one of your videos. I get so many compliments on it, it's a classic without being too showy and you rarely see people wearing it.
Loved the survey!!
Can’t wait what you’re preparing for us 😁 💐
Anna, thank you so very much for taking a stance against fur! So intelligently said.
Haven’t even seen the video but anything LV falls into this category 😂
LV monogram, yes. But they have so many nice pieces without big logo too😊
Anna always wears her beautiful LV cream scarf
I will never understand why people are queueing in front of LV to buy overpriced tacky bags with a logo that you can see on every fake market...
@@lenadavid3456 well i love it 🇬🇧❤️
Anna Bey wears everything she later says is vulgar. Cheap marketing tactic. Only thing I agree with if LV = vulgar
I love Anna how you are even bringing the aspect of ethical fashion to your videos. Keep them coming :)
I'm very grateful for this as I am graduating with my bachelor degree and stepping into the working world. I would love to have your confidence! Thank you for everything.
Another great video which I completely agree with. Anna, I would love to see an updated skin care and makeup routine. Also what are your favorite perfumes.
I love the Anna smiles more in her videos. Been a casual watcher for years but now I'm subbed because I learn a great deal.

I was actually thinking about this subject 🥰
I used to love to show logos on what I am wearing, because it made me feel like I had more "value".... following you for the last few years really helped me reinvent my look and find ways to look expensive without looking like "im trying too hard". I ve gotten so many compliments on my outfits thanks to.your advice! Thank you for the great content!

Another great video. Thank you, Anna!
Anna, you are awesome. I'm a Saudi girl who wears an Abaya out, and your videos help me choose the right Abaya with the right cut, color, and fabric for every occasion. Now, I've said my goodbyes to the fansy glamour Abaya that I wore to work and college. Thank you very much.
Love all the tips Anna! You are so right about the logos or just popular lux items all together at once being to much! I have had to stop myself several times and replace a belt or bag with a more lowkey option!
Everything you say, I agree so so so much! Welth is welth and most times people who suddently become rich can't handle beeing humble and not showing all that welth! Only someone who works with his inner self can find the balance! Admire you Anna!!!
Thanks for making this video! People need to watch this.
Thank you so much Anna, for this great video.
The weird (and hopefully on its way out) world of influencers have completely ruined all of these items. That’s a fact. I don’t want my son growing up in a world where young people aspire to have this as their “career”. Walking human advertisements for brands for free loading, excess and greed. These things would normally only be worn by people who could actually afford it, plus it wouldn’t be plastered all over Instagram for young people to believe this is normal and how people should be living?! Great video Anna, classy as always x
I think the combination of the LOVE bracelet and the Van Cleef is very overused, everyone and their mother has it, same as the Hermes Oran sandals.
I do love the Oran sandal but people overdue it, so it has lost it's appeal. What do you suggest instead?
Dear Anna, I just participated in your survey, and I would honestly love to participate in your paid programs, however, I am still a student (I study medicine) and I cannot afford it for now, but once I start making money when I graduate, I will definitely participate in your masterclass and other programs which you offer ❤ You are my favorite youtuber and I make sure I keep up with all of your videos and seriously take your advice ❤ It has been an amazing two and a half year journey so far! Thank you for helping me level up my life; even on a budget!

Kate Blanchett in, "Blue Jasmine" portrays the rich stereotype.

Anna, I love this video. So spot on♥️
Well done lovely Anna for reminding us to be classy by not wearing something which is the result of the cruelty and torture of animals. The knowledge and information about the horrific treatment of beautiful, sentient beings is freely available to us as intelligent compassionate humans, if we want to hear/see/learn. Don’t forget about the use of leathers though. As in handbags, belts etc. Can you offer us beautiful quality, elegant alternatives?Xx
I don’t actually like any of these, I prefer buying good quality items which are not from a popular brand. Like I would rather have a nice minimalistic leather bag from a small company, than an of the big brand bags with logos. Thank you for the informative video.
I go for functionality first
Like Aesther Ekme or St. Agni
Thanks for showing Anna and your fashion advice
Thank you Anna. This is so helpful.
Hello, dear Anna! Thank you for noting the "walking billboard". Finally somebody to understands me and how I see this showing off and put in the face "style", which according to me is more like lack of style. Well said. All of these examples were examples for stereotype and mediocrity. Pity that most of the people do not realize it. I think that more people need to watch your videos. Thank you for this video and giving voice to this point of view.
Confident people can wear a logo. I’m sorry you can’t. Lol
@@katemiller7874 confident or not confident, it would be still an walking billboard, which I refuse to be :)
Dear Anna, thank you for pointing out the cruelty behind Fur-Fashion. It means a lot to me that you, whom I look up to, strongly advices on ethical right decisions.
Thank you. God bless your heart.
Greetings from germany.
Thrift store furs are ok in bitter cold
Vintage fur is cool. If you worried about animals ... stop wearing leather, stop eating certain foods, and stop wearing makeup ... seriously I hate hearing this comment yet folks rocking other stuff or eating stuff made from animals. I don't care what people wear ... it's their choice.
i do find it a little bit funny that leather is okay but not fur….it is essentially the same thing. maybe it is different if it is a cow or lamb because we also consume all of the animal.
Hi Anna. Pat from RI. Great video, I always learn something from you !!
Bravo! I'm late to your site, but I'm here for it!
Love #2 - wearing that clothing logo out front. I would like to say that, when this "fad" first came into being, it was big simultaneously to when a fabulous comic strip captured my heart, "Calvin and Hobbes" - in one strip, Calvin sits with Hobbes, watching the sunset and pondering, "Why on earth would I PAY a manufacturer to wear an item of clothing that was only free advertising for them?" I agreed then, and I agree now. My body is not an advertising billboard and I avoid them. (I'm also a little uncomfortable wearing a 'destination' tee shirt as well, but I'm also over 40, and one that prefers solid colors, so there's that.) Thank you.
Anna: Please start a hashtag or meme "NO MORE LOGO'S". You have a very large audience and it will catch on, maybe designers will finally realize we are not their billboards. I look at logo's the same way I do price tags. People don't walk around with price tags hanging off of their clothes and that's what I think of when I see logo's: "Look at me, I paid $500 for this tee shirt " . So tacky!
Maybe without the grammar mistake 😂
I think a cute logo piece can be very nice and very classy.. if worn correctly. I don’t like mixing multiple logos or showing more than one at a time but certain pieces look just beautiful with the logos!
"Logos"
Anna my dear you are such a wonderful sister! THanks for advising me all the time :)
On point!! You can always wear branded names but you have to minimize it for you to look elegant 🧡 For Belts go for Loewe brand
Very true. Sometimes I find myself admiring a beautiful item that has no logo on it, but discover it is a very particular and sophisticated brand that costs more than the popular ones! Class is much more than a logo.....
I’d also love to add the Salvatore Ferragamo gancini belt to the elegant belt list! The smaller gold horse bit buckle is timeless and understated.
Completely agree! Well said!
Oh congratulations for this great video!
Thank you for bringing up wearing fur! It’s so important that the fashion industry moves away from fur coats!
Amen. I can't bring myself to even look at them because I'm scarred by what the animals go through.
I definitely agreed, too many logos scream that you are trying to fit in as a rich person and the more discreet the better for me.
Animal products are not ethical and we all should choose kinder options.
Thanks for the video Ana
I love your videos. All of them. I am like many of your viewers: I get the joke and the tips from you. A big elegant hug from me!
Absolutely love your content! ❤️❤️❤️
I agree, Logos have completely gotten out of hand. I think having all that on the clothes and bags distracts from the beauty of the person. Even if you have none of these things, being well manicured and having good skin and hair is going to elevate your look way more than a Gucci logo.
Anna, I agree so much with every point - so well noticed & stated by you. Thank you! I have recently sold my LV bag, scarf and bag with visible logo and feel so good about it. You are very right on FOCUSING ON YOUR PERSONAL STYLE instead of brands.🙌🏻
Do you live in Japan?
@@Rwissam1987 no, actually in Eastern Europe.🙌🏻
Thank you ! I’m going to the quiz now!
Perfectly said. I can say from personal experience that many T-shirts with logos on the front are usually the "cheap" items that you can get from a designer, other times it's just a brand signature to have a loud logo in any item they make. Good taste will always make a good image rather than a collection of brand names. Just because something is expensive and from a big brand doesn't mean it's beautiful or even tasteful
That red shirt of yours is magnificent 😻 in my country, stereotypically wealthy people wear those tights/tracksuits with the brand names written in white up the leg. They are just everywhere. High end sports attire is also very commonly associated with the wealthy in my area. One particular favourite is the excersise attire from burnt studios
Spoken as someone who owns a few of them, I'd add my favorite handbag to this list: the Birkin. The Cartier Juste un Clou is up there too, but I think you were right to give the Love bracelet that spot.
I definitely agree with you... To focus on developing your own personal style
