I watched a lawncare man who said the battery operated ones that he has used would not stay charged long enough to do a yard. He said maybe someday the batteries would improve but for now, he recommended corded ones.
Does this machine pick up goat heads?
I would say yes IF they are on top of the grass but if they are down below the grass blades, like in the dirt basically, I would say no. It picked up the loose stuff on top of the ground like small twigs and etc. Sorry I couldn't answer your question better.
