Beautiful
Thanku for sharing
Really cool book
Oh my gosh, I just bought this same binder yesterday and I was excited to find this video but can I tell you I let out an audible yelp when I saw you had put the Helen Steiner Rice poem I literally JUST put her Hello Friends in the front of mine. I saw couple of other things I had used as well as a FIRST TIMER his let me know I was doing just fine!!!
That is awesome! You ARE doing just fine! Just remember ... there are NO RULES in creating journals. It's your journal and it can be whatever you want it to be and as creative as you want it to be. But most importantly to remember is to have fun with it!
Love how you used the pharmacy bag!
I tend to keep everything ... not sure it's always a good thing to be a hoarder lol. tfw!
Your on a roll!
Such beautiful work, as usual. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing 😄
Nice and thick and like that you use some of the original pages
Love this journal it's so perdie
Thanks friend!
Great JJ!! Love these vintage 5 ring binder journals. Good Job.
Thank you! I love making these ... just a little different from sewn signatures and I like that you can easily take things in and out.
That’s a lot of work! Pretty!
They are a lot of work, but I always tell people it's my therapy lol
I’m making one of these right now - my first one - it different that’s for sure. Your journal is beautiful!
Oh girl! I can't wait to see what you do with yours. You always make such beautiful journals. It is definitely different from signatures but I do find that it's a little bit easier
Whoa, girl! You are cranking them out! I love that garden book! I am in the process of making a ring binder cookbook journal. Love your journals.💞
Thanks friend! I had several books that were almost finished, so I just had to do a few "finishing touches." I have 1 more ring binder that just needs the cover done, but I had to finish a custom order first. After that, I have to start all over so it'll take me a little longer now to get some more ready. Sometimes, I do better to walk away from a book and come back to it to finish it. I tend to get tired of working in the same one and start another one lol. I can't wait to see the one you make! I love the ring binder ones.
Shaw Craft 1 I think we have the same style of doing things. I was doing a lot of the Little Golden Books, and then I had two custom orders for Fairy books that I did with a gutted Reader's Digest books. Almost finished with those. Then I hope to finish the ring binder cookbook one. And, I have had "Book Envy" 😄 for this garden flower book that you've been working on! And I just found it online..so I just I ordered that today. Score!
Love your journals. Tfs!💞
That's awesome that you found 1 online. I haven't even thought to look online. I think it's because my husband and I have so much fun going to the thrift stores LOL
Shaw Craft 1 Oh, no.. I thought I got the garden ring binder one, but I got the sewing ring binder book. So I'm still on the hunt. It is part of the fun of it all with junk journaling to look for things to use for them. 😄
Beautiful journal. I recently started trying my hand a junk journals and love your videos. I just realized you’re in Clinton, I’m in Knoxville. :-)
Welcome Melissa! It's so cool that we're practically neighbors! I love it. I hope to see some of your videos of your journals ... will def go check out your channel!
Shaw Craft 1 no where near brave enough to start videos, LOL. I’m still at the collecting point for my journals but love the inspiration I find your channel and all the other great journal makers on CZcams. Can’t wait to see your next project!
It took me a "minute" to be brave enough to make videos, but I promise if I can do it, you can do it! It's not as bad as you think, promise!
Hi there; I hope this doesn't sound silly but I have picked up a couple of these vintage 5-ring binders. I have seen a 3 hole punch but not a 5 hole punch. How did you do your holes for this binder?
I punch them all by hand! 😏
Oh my goodness. Bless your patient heart. Well if you ever hear of a more time efficient way of punching 5 holes, please pass it along!
