  • Sharing a journal I made using a vintage Better Homes & Garden binder! It is so easy to make a journal from one of these neat vintage binders! Just take the original pages out (and save them for other projects or to read!) and add your own! Take it up a notch by lining the inside covers with scrapbook papers and maybe pockets!
I used Maggie Holmes 'Flourish' paper collection for this journal.

I just bought a version of this same book today for 3.00. I have never made a journal but think this will be the easiest way for me to start. So glad I found your video.

Kittywitty Papercraft Thank you! I am thinking of making a fabric cover, removable. That way I can decorate the front without destroying the original graphics. So excited to get started. Note: I have never sewn a thing in my life lol. My husband inherited his mom’s sewing machine. He uses it for small repairs, etc. I used it to sew in a pocket today and almost fainted with joy. Making a cover can’t be that hard right? 🤓

@@karmaleenash2841 Oh that would awesome, Karma!! It is pretty ambitious, but I love that you are going to tackle it anyway!! 😃 It will either turn out or it won't! And if it doesn't, you will learn something and be more familiar with sewing and you will be that much closer to figuring it out!! You will get there! Please let me know how it goes! Best of luck!! I remember the first thing I sewed on my machine (last year!) and it was so satisfying!! Have fun!! 🤗💜🌿💜🌿💜

@@AurorasJournals Hi again!! So, it's a little difficult to recommend personal development books bc there are so many out there and it really depends on your needs! But, I can share a few that I really love that made a big impact on me! Loving What Is by Byron Katie, Daring Greatly by Brene Brown, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. Those are just a few! I find once you start reading on this path, you will be lead to other books and each one just adds to the big picture! Some will resonate more than others and you will find that you carve out your own unique path!! Best of luck to you!! 🤗💕💗💕💗💕💗
