I just realized I was accidentally calling the saberstaffs "dualsabers" in the video. The correct term is a "double bladed lightsaber" - a dual saber would refer more to someone who uses two individual lightsabers, like my Sith Warrior shown in this video. All the double-bladed lightsabers in this video are called "saberstaffs" in the game.
Did not know that, apparently polesabers too!
Dualsaber is fine too, considering the game itself has double bladed sabers with "dualsaber" in the name lol.
In legends double bladed sabers have been called doublesabers, dualsabers, lightstaffs, saberstaffs, and even lightsaber lances.
Confusingly lightsaber pikes have also been called lightsaber lances too, so don't sweat it too much :)
Yeah I got confused by this when I first started playing too. Eudoxia was originally a Sentinel that I levelled all the way to 60 back in 3.0, and then I rerolled as a Shadow.
+TheGrandAdmiral And if the way Marr used it is any indication, lightsaber lance is an appropriate term. :P

Both mean the same I call them Twitter saberstaffs, dualsabers or double bladed lightsabers
Old lightsabers = best lightsabers. These new have thin/slim blades and looks like toothpicks. Got very expensive lightsabers, but use Tython starter one :P
Tami it feels more person does the first lightsaber you get for the Jedi and the Sith because it’s the first you get

I like the thin ones for marauders and sorcerers, it looks more like a duelist’s blade than a broadsword

I hope the weapons in outfit designer comes soon too, I always loved the model the flamegen saber uses so I was gutted when they removed the modable comms version in 4.0 as soon as it becomes available quite a few of my toons will change Lightsabers.

when the game just game out before it became free to play, there were like 20 servers with really low population. i leveled my main toon marauder class and was really sad when i discovered there were only offhand lightsaber with blue crystal on the bottom of the hild. there were just no way of obtaining main hand back there. later on bioware added new ones but they were unmodable. it is nice that now u can use this with any lvl mods.
I like the custom-built lightsabers. You can easily acquire them for around 100K credits on the GTN, and the y look and sound amazing.

Well done as always, though I have to say some of my favorite craftable ones are the old customisable ones. Like Elegant saber and custom saber. I at least have had my artificer long enough to have those.
Yes I was only able to find one of the custom saberstaff schematics on the GTN, too bad they are very random for availability!
I'd send one of each, but I play on Jedi Covenant.

Truthseeker is one of my favorite double bladed lightsabers in the game but I don't think you can get the crafting schematic for it anymore. Great video though! Nice to see the craftable items highlighted as I think folks skip over them a lot these days.

@@Swtorista I can't wait to play again though roleplaying a lone Mandalorian Mercenary trying to find somewhere to belong after her family were wiped out by the sith and with a side order of revenge putting a blaster bolt into the sith lord who murdered her family and had her hunted like an animal till she escaped and a Jedi Padawan trying to come to terms with his past and trying to find out who his father was so he can find him and find out why he left his mother who was a jedi who had left the jedi order to start a family with a Mandalorian man she met when she were on a diplomatic mission of which she lived with the clan and he taught her Mandalorian culture and to not use force abilities and told her not to use her lightsaber to use a vibrosword and wear Mandalorian armour so she doesn't offend the clan by accident. Btw I call saber staffs that or duel saber
@@Swtorista I might use the silver one with the bits of gold on it because it looks more like something a Jedi would use even if my Jedi Knight would still be a Padawan the design for the hilt is inspired by what Padawan's see in their visions when mediating or sleeping
I really love the Artifice crew skill line, but sometimes is really hard getting certain crystals like Chrysopaz and Corusca Gem, needed for crafting lightsabers and the crystals for the sabers and blasters... I've sent my crew on numerous hunting to drop this gems and never managed to drop them more than once. Is there a trick to drop them more frequently without buying them from the Jawas in the Cartel Bazar or on the GTN?
Apart from this, those sabers are awesome, I am looking forward to craft the Artusian one for my Jedi Knight and the Syntonium one for my Sith Warrior.

I bought one that looks like the ones from the prequels. I have the dual one though as currently playing as a hatred assassin. think I paid about 90,000 for it at the auction house. you can get a version of it which has a hilt on one side like kylo ren as well, but very expensive.
I know it's not craftable but they made the Lightsaber that you get from your final quest on Korriban/Tython legacy bound now, just that I'd put that out there

Is that Revan's theme I hear in the background? Love Revan he is one of my favourite EU characters wish Disney would make him canon because of how badass he is. I might use Fire node lightsaber on my Jedi Knight because they are basically bound to their lightsaber on an emotional level I main the one they forge and i'll put it in my outfit designer with a blue lightsaber crystal

I really like the artusian lightsaber, though I can't help but feel you can only use a blue blade with it, what'd be cool would be if when you changed your colour crystal, the colour of the crystal at the end changed as well.
+The Rambling Brit I remember thinking it would be better if the crystal changed color. But I don't think they had that technology when the saber was first released.

+Storm Motion hello storm! For valor, you just need to PvP, there's no trick to it I think you can buy a valor boost from the GTN. For social, I'm not sure the fastest way. Almost any group content gets it for you, I think I have heard ops are fastest. Flashpoints probably great too. And for legacy, when you get yourself a stronghold and complete the stronghold quest on the fleet, you get a free one you can place in your stronghold. Stronghold quest is a hologram in the strongholds and crew skills section of the fleet.

I’m so confused I wanna craft the fire node Sabre staff but I have zero clue where to go
I know you can craft your own lightsaber, lightsaber hilts, and color crystal using Artifice, and Archeology. However can you mod enhancements on your crafted lightsaber? So far I haven't seen any crafted lightsabers that have the mod enhancement available, while using Artifice and Archeology
It's complicated. So if you craft one of the lightsabers in this video, it is sadly not moddable. There are a few recipes for moddable lightsabers but I'm not sure where you get them and I don't think they look as cool as a lot of these ones. Now, separately, if you have a moddable lightsaber, you can craft mods, enhancements and even augments for it. I'll share the link for which skill makes what in another comment (on mobile, typing is hard lol)

Pro tip time form me: Instead of getting the crystals the hard way go to nar shadar and look around in crates! You should get tonnes of random crap :)

i get the onslaught and asylum variants have different stats, but do the lightsaber modles themselves have different stats from each other, or are the only stat differences in onslaught and asylum?
The sabers with a lower crafting levels in this vid have lower stats.

Ah, sorry for the confusing way I worded my question, but in your video, you stated that you couldn't upgrade their statistics. However, I was trying to say that it's possible to add slots for upgrading statistics at a mod station. It costs, but I am pretty sure it can be done.

You need to have the Artifice crafting skill and level it to level 360
Then you need to buy its schematic form the trainer along with the schematic Upari Artifice Bonded Attachment

it would have been kinda cool if you showed where the level 66 saberstaff was stored when not in use due to it goes on your back not your side.

all personal preference. I personally like sentinels and marauders on sith because i like dual lightsabers

Only problem is that you outgrow these sabers so fast you'll never have one long enough to become attached. They really need to allow the cosmetics to reapply over your current saber. That's where the staying power is at.

The GTN or rather the people that put something on it are silly cuz I'm trying to sell a couple of crystals one for a million and another for about 7-10 million.,...and no one will buy them, I had more than 5 million credits in my legacy bank but I wanted to buy armor for my BH and got carried away.

i just got into this game went artificer and i crafted a blue E crystal only to find out i needed a artifact equipment autherazation item to use the crystals i make so im out of money and now i have a crystal in my inventory that i cant even use even after i waste dso much time making it

Cheers Dante! Welcome back to the game. For a cheap armor set, go to the fleet and go to the Supplies section, look for a vendor with the name Adaptive Vendor, I think he is in a corner room. He has some cheap sets for cheap.
