Endgame Crafting
If youâre crafting on a high level character, you may choose to craft for endgame rather than for fun. Endgame crafting is crafting purely for statistics - to raise your characterâs stats, like your power or endurance, so you can perform better in combat. This includes crafting armorings, mods, enhancements, hilts, barrels, relics, earpieces, implants and augments. Knowing which crafting skills to take for endgame requires you to be familiar with what pieces of endgame gear each crew skill can craft, and which types of stats your specific type of character needs. For example, a healer needs an entirely different set of gear than a tank.

đ Which Crafting Skills can craft what for Endgame Armor
/ dokjyu7
Artifice
The first crafting skill you can choose is Artifice. Artificers can craft a variety of things, and the one theyâre most well known for are color crystals that can change the color of your lightsaberâs blade, or the color of the bolts that come out of your blasters. Artificers are also the only crafters that can craft dyes - thereâs over fourty craftable dyes, plus some special ones from reputation. Artificers can also craft lightsabers and double-bladed lightsabers, relics, shields generators and focuses. Artificeâs complementary skills are Archaeology and Treasure Hunting.
Synthweaving
If youâre looking to craft armor for your force user, try out Synthweaving. Synthweaving lets you craft armor for any type of Jedi or Sith.. you could technically even wear them on your non-force user, as all new crafted armors are adaptive and can be worn on characters that use light, medium or heavy armor. Synthweavingâs complementary skills are Archaeology and Underworld Trading.
Armormech
If youâd like to make armor for a non-force using character, pick Armormech. Armormech can craft armor that looks good on Troopers, Smugglers, Bounty Hunters and Imperial Agents. Armormechâs complementary skills are Underworld Trading and Scavenging.
Armstech
If you want to be able to craft blasters for your non-force-using characters, Armstech is the way to go. Unfortunately, most of the default craftable weapons, from lightsabers to blasters, are not moddable... And thereâs no slot in the outfit designer for weapons. So be aware that a lot of the weapons you can craft might look cool, but they wonât be great for your high-level character. Because of this, I donât really recommend picking up Armstech. If you do end up picking Armstech, its complementary skills are Investigation and Scavenging.
Cybertech
Cybertech is the odd one out when it comes to cool things you can craft, as they canât make weapons or armor. Instead, they can create a motley of items including ship parts, grenades, and even a few speeders. Cybertechâs complementary skills are Scavenging and Underworld Trading.
Biochem
The last crafting skill is Biochem, and like Cybertech, itâs a bit odd. Biochemists craft medpacs, stims and adrenals - all of which can mean the difference between life and death in tricky combat situations, like heroics, operations or flashpoints. At the time of making this video, Biochem crafters can also use special re-usable medpacs, stims and adrenals. These schematics are earned from the Umbara flashpoint and require Biochem level 600 to craft AND to use. Because of these schematics, biochem is sometimes known as the most âusefulâ skill, since the items crafted by all the other skills can technically just be bought from the GTN, without requiring that actual crafting skill to use them. Biochemâs complementary skills are Bioanalysis and Diplomacy.

* Free-to-play and preferred can now hold 1 million credits
* Biochem can still make re-useable stims, adrenals and medpacs, but you get the schematics from the trainer and reverse engineering (not Umbara)
* Everything else the same for 2021!
Great
Great
Thanks for updating it , im just starting to play and this info helps alot
Thx!
Thanks a lot for this video, I really need it. Take care!!! ^^
when im picking my crafting skills i like to sort of role play and pick which ones would suit my class the most
Same
I started to do that but then I realized it's your companions crafting not you so really it doesn't matter.
@@WilBgames yeah but you can still benefit from it because its for your class.
Exactly. My Force users always go Artifice or Synthweaving. As an expression of Force Alchemy. Same with Biochem in a way
Same here
Worth mentioning that Synthweaving and Armormech make armor and armorings. Cybertech creates mods and enhancements. Armstech creates weapons and barrels.
and Artiface creates Lightsabers and Hilts
Exactly. I encourage Cybertech for new players because mods and enhancements can go into most of your gear and weapons if they are adaptive. And getting a full set of adaptive is pretty cheap. Bingo, most of your gear just needs some upgrading every X number of levels instead of replacement.
Thanks
Also, there are now weapon slots in the outfit designer, so if you want some flashy blasters, go for it!
I'm so glad I came across your channel. I've played off an on for years and this really helps getting into crafting which I had no idea i could do now since i'm subbed. Thank you
This video was so helpful I'm free to play and understand my limitations more ty
Cheers you're welcome :)
Awesome more from The Academy, great video Swtorista!
For me Scavenging is my "go to" on new characthers :)
Me too! Love picking up dead droids. Lots of others are saying Slicing is their go-to for the easy credits too :D
Your videos are awesome! Really helping me get back into Swtor after 2 years. Keep it up please!!
Cheers! welcome back
Great vid Swtorista! Learned alot from this vid. Also it was your referral link that got me 3 crew skill slots on my preferred account, thank you!
+straswa haha, very nice!
You're literally awesome and great. Thank you so much for past and present vids.
Even as a subscriber, your first toon should just be all gathering. $$$ for your legacy. I started with Bio, Slicing, Scavenging. I was rolling in money by end game.
Great thanks for the tip. Iâm starting out. So il go ahead and go for the 3 you suggested. Bio
>toon
Thank you for the video. Helped me out when helping my sister pick crew skills alongside my characters that we plan to play together.
Cheers! Have fun together!
One thing I want to add is that, if you don't intend to craft, you can still make some bank by selling mats on the GTN. Some materials go for more, so its important to pay attention to the GTN market. With the server merges, the market will go into chaos for a few days, but once it settles, you'll get a good idea what is worth how much.
You can put your gathered materials into the new crafts material inventory (patch 6.0), so they don't take much inventory space. So now you can even have up to 3 gathering skill without fulling your inventory all the time.
Girl you are a lifesaver
I used to make a fortune crafting high level barrels with my Armstech, in the end game it was one of my most valuable skills...
Oh, Biochem also added a lot to my bank roll and in itself was very useful especially on my tanks for the reusable packs...
For a gatherer I do one mission skill, slicing and one of the three you have (arch, bio or scav). And I pair the gathering and mission skill for a craft, so I'd just have to drop slicing and they could take a craft and have the two matched to it. I'm doing extra alts after having all the crafts done. For f2p I recommend slicing if you only get one skill. It's free money and you don't even have to sell anything if you don't want to although the slicing mats do sell if you want to.
I am so glad I found you on twitch. You have a great knack for tutorial videos Thank you
hey! cheers! glad you figured out how to get to the tutorial side of things
Swtorista you were right that was exactly what i was looking for in a crafting video! thank you!
cheers!
I just subscribed to the game and your channel is a literal Bible. Love the delivery of the content too.
Cheers! :)
One of the tricks for armstech is to check the GTN for schematics for the old customizable weapons, like custom blaster pistol and elegant blaster pistols.
Good tip! The other schematics are fun to collect, sometimes hard to find though.
Legit the best channel for guides!
thanks!
As a new player I really appreciate these videos!
Hey Swtorista i know its a while ago you made these vids, but still i want to thank you, they are very usefull.
cheers!! :)
Thanks for this its a big big help
Good video. I thought you would pay more attention to mission and gathering skills, because you already did one video about crafting. Those crew skills generate some affection points and can unlock shortcuts in few flashpoints.
Always went slicing as a f2p
It's a great choice for free easy credits :P
Slicing?
@@WeHaveNoTalentSorry Yeah, it's the Star Wars version of hacking. The skill can get you a decent amount of free credits and, for end game gear, sliced components become essential for crafting so they sell reasonably well.
I found slicing kind of annoying because it gives those credit boxes that dont stack and you have to open them all after each gathering.
Several of my Toons run 'Slicing' - it is definitely nice to just pick up extra credits along the way.
if you sub, I highly recommend you get the following mix of skills with your different characters (assuming all Jedi or Sith specs). Keep in mind they have to all be on the same server to share items. Start a character, level them to lvl 10. Pick up the green gathering skills bio-analysis scavenging and archeology, you could even do two with those skills, but one will do to start. You'll see why in a moment: Next train two characters in Cybertech with skills slicing, and underworld trading (your first character(s) have the gathering skill scavenging to complete your cybertechs, get one Artifice with slicing and treasure hunting, your gathering characters have the archeology to complete that circle, and train a character in biochem, slicing and diplomacy, your gathering character has the bioanalysis to complete that skill, and lastly get a character in synthweaving with slicing and underworld trading, the gathering character has the archeology to round out that skill. So with your gathering character you want to collect every marked resource, it's not that tedious like you would think, that will give you all the green materials for level one crafting when you do Coruscant or Dromund Kaas. You don't need to harvest slicing resources you only get credits but nothing towards crafting, you have to run missions to get your blue and sometimes purple materials. You need two cybertechs to keep up with the other skills because they make twice as many useable items, grenades, mods, enhancements and earpieces. You can supplement your materials inventory on the Galactic trade network, you won't need any green mats but you might need the blues and purples. With this setup, you will be able to equip all custom armors and weapons and have all blue equipment and if you invest some time and money into the missions, some purple equipment. You have all the bases covered. I equip all my characters as soon as they hit level ten with all blue and purple stuff that I made for them myself, then I proceed to solo the heroic mission on the starting planet, finish that planet's storyline. You can go to the capital planet and solo a couple heroics right off but for soloing the tougher heroics you will need to upgrade your equipment when you level up (I do it when I hit level 18) Once you get this setup going you'll always have blue equips for all your characters from then out (you will probably need some funds so selling some of those equipments can get you the funds you need to buy more materials.
Great advice!!!
can you make a video showing this???
@@bluemageproduction6607 sadly I have zero experience making videos and I haven't been playing lately, but I get paid on the 1st and I can sub and see where things are at and if this advice is still useful lol
Slicing is nice if you only have one and don't feel like crafting anyway or bothering with the market as much. Just pick up cash.
If I chose slicing can I gwt rid of all the crafting boxes in my inventory?
Really good work and a other really useful video
Thanks William, glad you liked it!
Awesome as usual, my lady. Thank you again for all your efforts and your friendship.
this was really useful
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Thanks for this. I went Armormech, scav and UT on my smuggler and couldn't work out if I had made the right decision. Now I know as a non force user I can make things for myself and also sell them.
I like your voice, holy shit sounds so relaxing.

This channel is so so so good
Good info, thanks.
Nice video, thank you.
Small addendum for new players:
-crafting is a money sink not really worth it generaly
-if you're a f2p or preferred, you'll encounter too many paywalls, just pick slicing until you get a sub or some crafting related unlocks on gtn or cartel market to make your life easier
-exceptions are biochem (reusables), cyber (grenades), and slicing for money
-while leveling, don't plan on crafting your gear (you can, but you level so fast your gear rapidly becomes outdated)
-endagme crafting is a lot of work for not the best gear (logical, but had to point this out)
-artifice, armormech for fashion, and when they add weapons to the outfit designer, weaponstech
-big problem: generaly any old recipe you learnt you will keep in archives, but BW can erase totaly some recipes (biochem reusables have disappeared and came back, for example, crafting droid parts is purely gone cause they're not in game anymore)
And a last, more general note for people that don't have a lot of time in game, by the time you have all professions maxed and are crafting the best craftable mods and items, a new crafting tear will appear and you're back to money sink phase.
Good tips, thanks for sharing!
I remember doing the Datacron hunts,. it was a fun way to travel the universe.
Great video glad I found your vids as I am about to return after a long time thanks for the videos! Ps.which is you favorite companion and/or class would you say has the best thanks
Hi Fluffy welcome back to the game! I don't think I have a favorite companion... my fave class is Trooper Vanguard. If you need some advice about classes I made this video czcams.com/video/Z8tk3bZpGew/video.html
Woo, thanks!
I've been living in and loving your channel for the last couple of days. Seriously thank God for you, information is scarce, but your work is a gold mine!
Thank you!!
As a Perferred and as a sub since I always had 1 of every class on a server I did all 4 crafting skills and 2 Gatherers... makes Crafting ALOT easier.. Especially for the crafting skills that group up on one Gathering Item Like Artiface and synthweaving, take crystals, and Armstech, weaponmech, and cybertech all take metal.. so That may be a formula to help you out too... And gor my gatherers, I do one a side where as the 3rd skill depends on what side they are.. Imperial I use Bio cause Dromund Kaas Has SOO many beasts you can grey out that planet Fast, and Republic I take slicing
...and thanks for all your videos
Super late here, but you can as a f2p player you can choose 1 crafting skill on one character, 1 gathering skill on another and 1 more gathering skill on another character and store all the stuff you collect in your legacy bank. That way you can collect resources with 2 characters and craft with the other character. Just a tip for anyone wanting to craft as a f2p player.
Good tip!
Interesting - so if your planning for some end game content then the following is probably best:
Biochem
- craft medpacks, stims ,adrenals
- can use special reusable's of the above (schematics earned from Ambara flashpoint +biochem 600 to craft + use)
-complementary skills: Bio-analysis & diplomacy
THANKS SWTORISTA. AWESOME VIDEO AND I LEARNED A LOT. IF I WANTED TO MAKE A CYBERTECH ARMOR FOR MY CYBORG SMUGGLER. WOULD I BE USING THE ARMORMECH SKILL TO MAKE THIS KIND OF ARMOR? THANKS.
I tested this today so as of this post, you can change your weapons appearance in the Outfitter so armstech should now be viably fun for cosmetic purposes.
i just picked up armstech. :x this vid changed my mind to choosing biochem.
Haha! Armstech used to be really cool, and some of the "special schematics" are still neat, but it's a major bummer that you can't use the cool weapons at endgame.
"Foci" XD Great video, very informative as usual!
This is probably going to sound weird, and I don't mean for it too, but I'm really getting into your videos, they're very informational and extremely helpful, but I think the best part is honestly your voice. It's really, really relaxing to just listen to, and I can understand every single word you say because you don't talk crazy fast. It's great. Keep it up.
Cheers. Talking clearly is one of the things I focus on for the videos.
How relevant is this information nowadays for new/returning players?
Thank you!
Still 100%! The only one that might be off is crafting for level 75 - I've got a new crafting video up now. But picking a general skill is still correct :)
finnaly the academy !!!!!!we love ya lady red !!đđ
It's been a while :P
First toon? Slicing, arch and scavaging. Then, make a toon for each craft. And make sure you have enough toons to have all the crew skills. Mats are shared
I'm having to re-take/re-learn my crafting skills because I guess game updates since I last played have changed them.. As I've found mats to harvest but don't have a skill to collect the item.
Focuses and foci are both correct plurals of focus, but foci is more proper as far as I know.
This is probably the biggest difference in my "Preferred" status from my "Subscription" status that I notice. (OK, Travel and Medical Drones too) Although I didn't really use them that much - I miss having all three Crew Skills available. And since I have several Toons, I've spread out my Crew Skilling, so that they compliment each other in the Legacy. Eventually, I will produce anything that I want for any of my Toons.
A founder of the game but never actually played đ finally picked the game up yesterday but didn't know where to start. Really enjoyed the content of this clip đ
Welcome to the game!
Thank you so much :) I might do the armor stuff.
I go to fleet at level nine but after picking up the heroics first on planet.
I then pick up the bonus crafting quest on fleet then go to the skill vendors.
I then go to each skill and decline, you get points if you do; after all that, I decide the skills and train, then finish with the quest bonus.
I then use the heroic on fleet to quick travel to the heroic on the planet.
People are missing out if they don't go with biochem, the end game stims and medpacs cost a lot and reusables help with that.
Ikr? Stim is very useful.
If you do PvP the best is cybertech, so you have an extra mass cc, which is quite crucial.
Having all 3 gathering skills for my 7th char named HeavyGrinderASB, I'm gonna to take everything, to craft each possible bonded attachment/assembly component/cell graft to be a monopolist in the market xD
I always preferred Biochem
I canât play a game without feeling and looking badass, so Iâm definitely going for the armor crafting skills
Some cool armors are affordable on the GTN.
my recommendations: dont take scavenging or underworld trading if you are doing crew skills for money. 3 of the 6 crafting skills work with those, so half of all crafters have them, and spam the GTN with the products. With such a low price on the GTN you wont make the money that makes it worthwhile. This is especially true, as Swtorista said, with scavengers as they can also scavenge droids that are killed, adding even more to be put on the GTN.
biochem--bioanalysis (1) + diplomacy (1) + animals (1)
armormech--scavenging (1) + underworld trading (1) + droids (1)
synthweavinig--archeology (1) + underworld trading (2)
cybertech--scavenging (2) + underworld trading (3) + droids (2)
artifice--archeology (2) + treasure hunting (1)
armstech--scavenging (3) + investigation (1) + droids (3)
slicing (1)
scavenging nodes x 3 + droids x 3 = a lot that gets gathered and put on the GTN. Too much, it drives the price to the floor for the items, so much it almost isnt worth scavenging nodes at all. Crafters that use scavenging might be better off to drop scavenging, take up slicing then make the money from that plus more, and buy the required scavenging mats cheap off the GTN. Slicing makes a lot more money that scavenging, and certainly makes enough money to do this.
Underworld trading has 3 classes that use it--again too many, GTN goes down.
There are 2 classes who use archeology (nodes x 2), and biochem is the only class that can scavenge dead animals (nodes x 1 + animals x 1). They do produce more that the single crafting skills, but not enough to affect the GTN much.
I'd say that's counterintuitive.
Since three types of crafters need scavenging you'll have three types of crafters to sell to. One scavenger can barely supply himself if he scavenges for his own needs, now add in the three other crafters needing those same materials.
I've done 1-3 class playthroughs per year, always doing gathering skills to make money while leveling characters that I don't even intend to keep.
Leveling from 1-50, IIRC only paid me 1 mil, and I'm including all the cash I made from selling trash and leftover items into that. Selling only scavenging mats via GTN gave me 3 mil last time, bioanalysis gave me 1,5 mil.
So for the sake of making money while leveling, unless you're going to level up multiple characters back to back, slicing is the worst one. Slicing only gets you direct cash, which is only a bonus if you're gathering for multiple back to back characters because low level crafting items don't have a huge demand and as such just one character could oversaturate the already small market if your timing is off.
Then again, this is only the spectrums from lvl 1-50.
Thank you for the insight. Just curious, let's say I have two friends called Bill&Bob and we're all preferred players. Is it viable to cooperate in order to get the good stuff? I can do two gathering skills, Bob can do two crafting, Bill can do one of each, or we can even use alts..
@@destroyerinazuma96 you can do all crafting on one account. The recommendations I was making were on a player's first character starting out the game new. At this time crafting is for making money, some are better than others for that. A crafter that is a money sink makes a new player's life harder. Most people do eventually make all crafters using alts. So yes, mix and match preferred 2 crafting/gathering skills to get them all.
Recent changes to the game made resource storage of crafting materials account wide, so anyone who gathers will be able to gather for any crafter, no matter which alt is doing which. You dont even have to transfer anything. Just gather on one, log out, log in the crafter, and then craft.
Another good way to gather is with companions. You can send them on gathering missions. Costs a small amount of money to do the mission, but they do it while you are doing something else. The higher the influence they are, the better the results of the mission or craft.
@@BrazilianBikini38 That's valuable information, thank you!
Thing I like about crafting as opposed to other games is that the stuff I make- as long as I keep up in tier- is actually useful and better than what you'd get just questing. I actually want to make the new lightsabers I unlock in artifice and keep leveling that skill as all of them are actually useful even before endgame.
When I played WoW, I wound up giving up on my professions as nothing you make has ANY use except for the top tier end-game stuff... Why would I grind for hours making useless crap for a point I may never reach?
I played WoW too, back in the Burning Crusade days... How the time flies. When it comes to SWTOR, I actually have a problem deciding between Artifice and Synthweaving for my Jedi Guardian... I am not sure, which will be more useful. I kinda like the idea of Artificing - crafting lightsabers, crystals, hilts, but Synthweaving can provide more gear in general + armoring mods with stats I need... Damn, I don't know.
@@VesGaming_ I went with Artifice, and personally I think it benefitted me more overall. You're constantly getting new armor, so even if it isn't as good as it COULD be, it is always pretty good. But not everything gives you relics, and crystals are pretty much the only mod every weapon will take (not to mention that they DO buff stats), so I like Artifice more. Though, I haven't actually tried out Synthweaving yet.
@@YourCrazyDolphin Hmm, you probably have a point here. Ok then, I will go with Artifice. Somehow, it sounds more appealing (and interesting in general) to me too - Jedi, making crystals, his own lightsabers, etc. Not a Jedi, who is a tailor.
@@VesGaming_ Well, your crew does, anyways.
I have synthweaving artificing and underworld trading
Crafting materials are shared amongst the characters when put in the materials section that you can select along the top of the inventory menu. it should look like a diamond.
yeah! awesome update. this is a very old video.
Thank you
I play WoW and primarily focus on goldmaking and the ingame economy, are there any guides or content creators for that part of the game in SWOTR?
SWTOR TV is a cool youtube channel for that. I have an easy head start to making basic money here czcams.com/video/2l3TK4PhKLs/video.html I don't know if anyone covers any more indepth stuff recently (
Working on a new Sith Inquisitor and I'm stuck between Artifice and Synthweaving. Not really focused on endgame, especially seeing how I'm not even at Dromund Kaas yet, but those two seem to be the better options from what's presented.
Yeah both sounds good for an inquisitor :) To me artifice has some REALLY COOL inquisitor armors czcams.com/video/bEJSN0P55Y4/video.html
add another character to do one of the skills and the other with your inquisitor
at the time of making this very video, swtorista have you completed the Bounty Hunter Class - Chapter 3 & Imperial Agent Class Story Quest Ch.3.? classes, love from denmark
Hey! Surprisingly nope, those are the two I haven't finished yet :)
Her voice is so soothing... almost fell asleep listening to the video
Biochem is so worth it now with the re added re usable stems.
It's very neat, biochem is my least favourite skill because it can't make "pretty" stuff, but it's by far the most unique and most handy.
It's a good skill for PvE when you need to help out the healers and I guess PvP, not that I PvP as it's very "toxic", especially on EH.
It would be great if you can make another video like this because rules, restrictions, and conditions are not the same anymore in 2022 as free players. I know, it's time-consuming, but you are the only one who did it on CZcams.
Hey! Very little has actually changed. The only difference is that affect this are 1) there is no more referral code 2) f2p/preferred are restricted to 1 million credits instead of 250,000
@@Swtorista Hi! Oh, OK. Good to know, thank you.
Awesome video. I just have one question though. And it's about the cartel market. AND it's about the Malak mask.
Is it possible (since I've haven't been to SWTOR for a very long time and since my computer died and became one with the force, even though it's not human) that you can buy the Malak mask or you have to buy the entire armour? I want to have the Malak mask and dye it to black with a bit of designs with it too. And what makes a jedi shadow so unique? (BTW, shadows my favourite class to play which I will play it once I have new laptop. May the force be with you, always.
That sounds like a cool outfit. For the current promotion you can only buy the whole outfit. You might be able to buy the mask with credits form other players, but I don't know the price on the GTN but probably expensive.
What makes a Jedi Shadow so unique? Hmm... a force user that can stealth! :P I like my shadow tank a lot.
Swtorista should I do tank or dps?
Depends what you want to do! If you are playing mostly by yourself probably DPS... if with a group, tanks have a lot of responsibility to not kill the group!
I can see in your comment that you got the "Star Wars" feels.
6:50 sick draw animation, is that the standard animation when wielding a dual ?
(Yes Im considering playing this game).
Cant wait to start wielding duals?
with reguard to arms tech i take exception to your statement about it not able to craft modifyable weapons and high level weaponsmit can make custom-built high level weapons,at lower levels yes your right, but from level 20 up you v\can equip and modify blasters, blaster rifle,custom-built sniper rifle and have been able to for years, also Cybertech can and always have made mods and enchants for weapons which just like other proffessions are great for weapons and armor artiface and sythweaver i think it is can make armour that can go into modifyable armor, you didnt mention any of this
2019 Updated: You can't be preffered or F2P and use Refer a Friend anymore, SWTOR wants money so they made it Subscriber only (little heads up for y'all)
Y'all Might, actually I was able to do so when I was/currently am a Preferred player.
2020 update: I just did it as a preferred player. It bugged a bit (thought it wasn't working because it told me the referral code had been used already) but I actually got my free 7 days so it's working. I think you most likely encountered one of numerous bugs.
2023 update, refer a friend code isn't active Anymore to my knowledge
Low level beginning players should probably go slicing to help with training costs ext ext. even at max level you can get a fair bit of credits per hours via lvl 500 caches on the higher level planets that helps alot with the early gearing stages of late game.
Good tip!
Training is free, unless you mean training crew skills, then yeah it helps. Though any easy credits always help.
@@spiderboy43 i mean having credits in general, you can buy gear as well as training alt skills, slicing is imo a must when just starting out in SWTOR, just because of the sheer influx of credits you can get with a minimal time investment. (edit) especially when free to play. its opens up a whole new avenue of content.
i mean last time i felt like i had to farm it was probably close to 300k+ uncontested credits in under an hour in some situations. the pay off is actually worth it, the simple routes on somewhat lower level worlds its just free. like almost no one is there because the dailies are BS and theres nothing to be gained.
Hey Swtorista, what specific song from the SWTOR OST do you use in the background of this video?
Hey Swtorista! I really want to craft a set of the jedi Hypercloth force expert robes, but i'm a free to play player.
I'd like to craft robes as my jedi levels up too, but if I can only have one crew skill, should i get crafting and then buy the materials through the GTN?
Tricky!! Normally I would suggest just get the materials and sell 'em. But the tricky part is the crafted stuff is not always available on the GTN. I'd check to see if that one is even on the GTN before you make your choice. If it's available.. buy and then gather :) if not, consider crafting!
can you do an update on hte armor craftings for jedi/sith, troopers and the rest? thank you!
HI SWTORISTA. I have all these decorations and titles in my inventory. I dont have a stronghold yet. So to make more room in my inventory, could I absorb the decorations and titles? Would they be availiable later on somewhere when I need them? Thanks.
I made a Juggernaut so to make my own armor I should go with Syathweaving + Archaeology + underworld but once I've made it would I be able to send it to my Sorcerer?
Yep! Just make sure not to equip it on your marauder by accident, and you'll be able to send it over once crafted via legacy bank or mail.
I didn't know bio Chem could be so useful
This helps a whole lot
What do I do with the light saber crystals I find? How do I get them to be able to be equipped?
I always suggest taking slicing if you are new and not that bothered about crafting. Free money!
good tip!
to unlock new color crystals for lightsaber schematic what do i have to do to find them? or do i have to level up the crew skills? i see a bar saying for example atm it says artifice 8/600, what does that mean. you probably mentioned this in the video even tho i rewatched it a few times to see before asking
Just level up and they become available as you level at the artifice trainer :)
What goes best with slicing? Is there a best combo with it? A best class?
free to play tip : .... 1 char crew skill (ie) armortech and another char crew skill (ie) underworld training ...then using the char with underworld trading send them on constant missions while doing dialogs etc , then store them in your legacy storage and when you switch back to your char with the amortech skill you will have the materials you need to craft ... then apply a little dash of ocd and before you know it both crew skills from each char will be progressing quite fast ......hope that helps anyone out there ........
almost forgot ...it seems when you have items in the legacy storage you dont need to go and get them each time ..... you can craft using the materials in the storage even if they are not in your inventory
good tips Stitch!
thanks i find ways to get the most out of things , just soo glad i finally got Swtor to work right , cant wait to subscribe , but first more class stories.... see you all on the DMS - sid taylor / scrufy nerfherder
Hey, is there any reason why currently some drops cannot be RE'd by any of crew skills? E.g. Armstech unable to disintegrate pistol or rifle.
I just want 2 things
1. Crystal's for weapons like lightsaber or guns
2. Dye colors
Is it worth crafting at all if I plan just to play story stuff (solo) and not really anything else? Should I just go with making my own armor to get me by?
