  • Analysis by Sky News suggests that one in ten of the UK's poorest households are getting into debt - just to finance day-to-day life.
Working families are running out of money every month with a lack of affordable housing, combined with high interest loans - often from illegal loan sharks - meaning they are in a permanent struggle to survive.
Sky's Sally Lockwood has this special report on the latest in our 'New Lines' series - examining life in Britain in 2019.

I don't know why people who think they know better do not understand why people "why people do it".. get an education.. a good place to start would be the variability of IQ - there is research on this... and why people make bad decisions.. but then I guess this would be beyond your limited intellect.... and I don't know why that is.. but I could work it out...

I'm sorry but Michaela I don't believe. Says she is in council tax debt after having unpaid maternity pay and that she doesn't answer the door in case it's the bailiffs. Then proceeds to answer the door to a delivery and claims 'she didn't order anything'. Looks to me as if she's in trouble because she's ordering too much online? I could be wrong but that's how it looks..
