Amazing recap, really brought out the feels. Thanks so much for your kind words about the Tape Swap 3 event. It was an honor for us to throw and have such support and interest. Being in the pit as it swallowed me whole at the DDS set is something that i keep thinking about, it was like a tsunami with how i felt so out of control but i felt so safe with the music swelling over me. It was so beautiful. The entire night was beautiful, I've genuinely never made so many memories in so little time. Hope to see you around again pad!!! I'll make sure to come up to a few shows if you are doing anything in the future
There’s a small part of me hoping that NFL QB Chad Pennington stumbled upon Pad Chennington and is now totally immersed in the vaporwave scene
Your tape swap set was a total banger, and the festival was indeed incredible! Thanks for the coverage!!! Feels good to reflect on the amazing experience it was with friends and music and an awesome city to explore.
Electronicon was cool, the Deaths Dynamic Shroud and DSFWAN concerts were the best

I was right next to you guys at Runners Club 95 - your energy was off the charts! 💪 I brought a friend who was unfamiliar with all the artists and they ended up being his favorite of the day. DDS was a highlight too, that whole first half of the event was just stacked. I can’t wait for the next one ❤️🔥
Im from Costa Rica and I fell in love with Vaporwave and its subgenres barely last year, but now it has become a dream to me to go to something like this 😭 because where I live it is impossible to see something like this, also is a struggle to find friends who enjoy vapor as I do, anyways Pad, thanks for this video, it is awesome ✨
Sorry that it's difficult there. You should see if you can get people to listen to the genre and fall in love with it. then maybe do a fund raiser to sponsor a show for vaporwave/future funk? You should contact George Clanton since he's the one who has the connects to make a show happen.

What a magical weekend filled with ups and downs. I’m forever thankful for this experience, and to be able to spend it with such kind and talented people that I’m lucky to call my friends. Econ 3 forever!

I just saw Will's video from the DDS set and I didn't realize we were rolling like 5 layers deep of homies, I knew some of those elbows felt familiar, lol!

i was there w my good homie Max we had bucket hats and cheesy pattern overshirts. we don’t get to see each other too often, we had a blast and got to see some great artists we’ve been following for years on the internet. During Dan Mason we were standing right next to u and I was like oh shit that’s Pad but got too nervous to say hi 😂😂 It was so chill being in the presence of all u guys the vibe was great. a guy came up to me and was like “you are beautiful don’t forget that” I was like omg 🥺everybody’s so sweet here. Favorite sets probably YUNI WA, Saint Pepsi, and DDS (which unfortunately I missed half due to being stuck in the eternal food truck line lmao) love y’all let’s do it again next year or ASAP and I hope telepath can make it next time 🙏
Yo Pad, me and my homie came up and chatted with you when you were standing in the merch line after DDS and Neggy Gemmy's sets and right before Giant Claw, and you were super chill and friendly and jazzed up. Knew you'd be around but didn't know if i'd actually run into you, so that was awesome. Made my night even better. Appreciate you bro, thanks for telling people about Econ - honestly one of the most insane concert experiences I've ever had. Vaperror's set especially was fucking unreal, I still can't believe how hype it was

I had no idea who you were at the time, but my wife and I were standing to the right of you and your crew during the Runners Club 95 set. It was such a blast, and yes that nervous energy was hilarious but they put on such an awesome show.

The way I came for the craziest weekend of my life was worth it so much I can't put it to words.
It was so good to meet ALL of these Vaporwave friends that I met and started talking to online years ago when I actually started getting deeep into the Vaporwave scene.
Electronicon3 was such an incredible unique experience.
I will never forget this weekend and all these awesome people that I've met, including you, Pad!

finally got to watching this while i was doing work. excellent video, pad. i've been looking forward to 3CON all summer, and when that weekend came there was nothing but ACTIVITY, all caps. the living gallery was hot as hell, but also really cool, seeing all that merch be out, meeting internet people for either the first time or after a long time. getting lunch with some of the NUWRLD homies, giving out stickers and talking up people whose albums are in my digital or physical collection and seeing some of them perform IRL, like Eyeclick and TWA and nanoshrine and Yung Shiro, was so so dope. and George coming around for that was really nice as well, especially telling him how awesome it was that 3CON would be at the knockdown center, where i first saw him perform back in 2017. it really was an overload, but a good one. the day of was very much that, with so many people and a lot of places to be, especially since i had a schedule. the food truck situation was a lost cause for me, and i just resorted to getting some candy from the bathrooms. the club room was so lit, so much that it was overflowing when Equip was playing. other than that, seeing Dan Mason's set, shaking after luxury elite's, and getting down with christtt and Giant Claw and chilling with groceries, i spent a lot of time in that room. outside of it, dds was SO FUCKING WILD. you were legit ready with that war paint. and also shoutout Fang and Charlotte, who are in a few of the videos of the dds set. i'm also glad xavi's bun survived that set. and you're so right, with the sun shining through the windows and the smoke changing the shine. i was coimng off an edible at that set and the clarity was something i've bever felt before. other great sets were also Runners Club, who i was so happy to see, SAINT PEPSI, and the sets i mentioned before. sunday was a chilldown. the bar was nice, and they had amazing chips and a strong long island iced tea, and the DJ skybooth was so awesome. seeing FrankJavCee and 3D BLAST and Trucks Passing Trucks and Shoji and especially you throw it down was so fucking dope. i truly can't wait to see what the next big thing around here will be. i'll for sure be ready for it. as for the next ECON, if George was just joking, if it can't be in NYC, hopefully close-by like Boston, or as far as Chicago, and hopefully i can make those. i didn't really mean for this comment to be so long, but i'm glad to write it out. anyways, great job pad, thnks, and until next time b.

Came back since during the premiere I was pickin up dinner. This provided catharsis for a dope weekend and a return to form after so long.
Yknow never been amazingly big on Dan Mason but vapor/ambient with screaming vocals might be a vibe
Non-metal genres with harsh vocals need to be more of a thing in general. It would sound a lot closer to the music in my head haha
lol I'm in this video at 8:04 wearing the Judgment Bolt shirt hanging out with Tech Honors of death's dynamic shroud and a couple other shroudies. I kinda remember seeing the dude filming that footage; probably why i'm staring into the camera initially. James, Tech, and Keith are all lovely people to be around in addition to making some of my favorite music ever! Also glad I stopped by the KKR booth and picked up some tapes, they're all pretty fire!

This was my first trip to Electronicon and my first trip to NYC. Me and my two buddies drove up from WV and we all had so much fun! I went to the tape swap and I was about to come up and ask for a picture with you, but right as I walked up, you walked inside XD all good though, had a blast and I absolutely can't wait for the next Econ 😍
It seemed like a very fun time. Will make it to next year 🌊🌊🌊🌊

I did wish the club stage was bigger because I really wanted to see Luxury Elite, Dan and desert 😭 and I totally agree with the food trucks!! Prices were crazy for like two tacos and line was insane but still worth the experience
