2023 and I still love them to bits. Still listen to "hurry up we are dreaming weekly", after a dark chapter in my life of losing a lot of loved ones, it reminds me I am lucky to still be alive but at the same time hoping all my loved ones passed will be there to gret me when my time comes.

Who ever disliked this has ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NO TASTE IN MUSIC... this song has so much power and feels like I’m actually alive from the comfort of my own mind and the intense wonder of imagination!
HOnestly, I could listen to this a million times and never get tired. This is, without doubt, one of the finest live performances of anything ever.
This is just some transcendental stuff they are evoking, for real. Utterly beautiful..

This song and album gave me so much strength to conquer the demons pulling me down during a tough time in my life when everything was just falling apart to absolute shit. I kept the album on repeat for 3 months and just carried on carried on.

I saw M83 in Helsinki in 2016; the kind of show that makes your eyes tear up... awesome stuff.

Anthony Gonzalez, say hello to this generations Mozart. He's such an amazing composer with a god given talent to touch the souls of all who listen. I can only imagine what it would have been like to be there for this concert, I would have been overwhelmed with emotion, crying with joy and sadness all at once.

IMO a far better version than the studio/album one - more powerful and polished, a fuller arrangement - and her voice makes it soar. Wish it was for sale as an .mp3.
1. Install the 'Video Download Helper' plugin for Firefox.
2. Open the youTube video up in Firefox and click on the small VDH icon in the top right corner(Looks like 3 small round spheres) and download the video to a folder of your choice.
3. Download and install VLC software. (It's free I think).
4. In VLC, click on 'Media' Convert / Save.
5. In the 'File' tab look to the right and click, 'add' and choose the video download from the folder you chose to save the video too.
6. Click, 'Convert/Save' at the bottom
7. In the open dialogue box, look for 'profile' and select 'Audio .MP3' from the format list.

Precisely! That's the idea behind the whole album ( Hurry Up, We're Dreaming) which was a concept album. I will go to my grave believing that that's the best album any musician has ever put together. From first song (Intro) to the last (Outro) are two of the great bookends in any album history. I LOVE M83.

I remember I was 19
When I was at work (which I hated with passion just to be there)
and one of my co workers (from Mexico City, really smart and talented dude that eventually had his own business) told me: “there’s always more to life than the shit you go through, sometimes you just got to disconnect in order to re connect”
Point is he had an extra ticket to see m83 live.
I remember clearly him telling me I’d regret it if I didn’t go.
(Assuming this bc of the anger and disappointment I was going thru back then and their music would help.)
Long story short.
I said no, and..
Didn’t go.
time passed and I found out more about the band and their music.
Man.. oh man..
to say their music brought me out of the deepest whole and saddest phases of my life ain’t even fair.
I always knew one day I’d be able to see them and understand what he meant back then.
13 years later…
That moment is here.
Too bad buying him a ticket to return the favor isn’t even an option.
Where ever you are..
I’m finally gonna see them tonight.
To say I’m excited is… the farthest feeling my bones are going through.
