Thank you so much for your information on Mr. David Austin! His love for roses just made this world a better place to live in. And all his roses are incredibly gorgeous, in colour and fragrance !

I like revisiting this video, you make it so inviting. Two years later I'm still waiting on boscobel offering me any scent at all but I'm still hopeful.

I requested my first David Austin catalog. Can wait for it to arrive. Will be ordering my first DA this Spring. Thank you for this presentation. Btw you have one of most soothing voices; you could have a 2nd career doing mediation voice overs. 🥰

Lovely to hear and learning with you about David Austin roses. I have to say they are my favourite. A month ago I rescued 28 of them and I have to confess I haven't space enough in my garden but I couldn't see them going to the bin. Actually they started regrowing, I am so so happy. Love your videos xx

Very enlightening accompanied with your soothing voice. Unfortunately, it's kinda hard to find DA roses in my country. Very few nurseries bring the breed, and they are always sold out.

Thank you! When ground space is limited in a small garden, consider planting a climber and take they eye upwards.

Thank you for sharing and would love to hear more! I’ve purchased my first David Austin roses this year and I can’t wait for them to arrive. I live in the Central Valley of California so I hoping they do well in the heat.

They actually thrive there. And while already disease resistant, you’ll see they are extremely clean in your climate.

I just discovered your videos and have been learning a lot! :-) Question for you--have you ever seen a Roald Dahl rose trained as a climber? I have a new one and it's growing in all directions like crazy! It seems like it wants to climb. Thanks!

This is great. My question is why some roses are taken out of production? Like some videos on CZcams show David Austin which aren’t available anymore.

Is Glamis Castle discontinued? I’m looking for a white, very full rose suitable for a container. I’ve seen your chats with Paul Zimmerman and several rose societies and am so glad for the information and having you accessible for the everyday gardener.

Thank you for this video. I‘m an expat living in Germany who has just planted my first DA roses (A Shropshire Lad & Abraham Darby). I hope to visit my brother soon and put some in his garden. Are there certain varieties which perform better in sandy soil (Chicagoland)? I have clay soil here, so don’t know anything else.

Please, please have David Austin add an updated "how to plant in a pot" for the USA, we have no idea what is in John Innes #3!!! It makes the directions almost useless! I am spending hours and hours trying to figure out what the John Inness #3 is!!!

I'm in Australia, but all my potted plants are in compost that I buy from the nursery. They all seem very happy. I also feed my potted roses more regularly than the ones in the ground (I just use liquid feed that I add to the watering can)

I think they will do great. If you can plant where they will receive morning sun and protection from direct afternoon sun, that will help. Water regularly this year to get them established.

Don't buy from David Austin in US.
They didn't fulfill my order, and I can't reach them, the emails return undeliverable and their phone is busy. Believe me, I'm frustrated.
