Just for interest's sake, he are a few people and channels I "just about" included: Tom Carruth, rose hybridizer extraordinaire and curator of the rose collections as the Huntington Library. He isn't much for social media (I think he keeps a Twitter account, but that's about it). Ping Lim, who has also contributed so many wonderful roses with his breeding work. He has a semi-active page on Facebook. Other CZcamsrs I enjoy (but thought I shouldn't stack the deck too much towards CZcamsrs): My Therapy Garden: czcams.com/channels/0NTBhKqAfxMiZxtKhgK_EA.html and Roses in N. Florida: czcams.com/channels/EVx2TkJ7AB3xBcC6rMxQNg.html

Neat list, Mr. Jason. Been following all of these professionals and enthusiasts (along with your delightful channel)... I just happened to chance upon the Rose Geek channel and chatted with her in comments, just before I saw ur video now. Such a happy coincidence.. And then I happened upon the video of Herr Der Rosenmeister (I didnt know it was him) narrating the origin story of how the name came to be, his passion as he talks about roses is so endearing (Also helps that he used to be a teacher). Such a masterclass in rose propogation through cuttings.. (the same videos you had linked.) All I can say is my CZcams algorithm is leading me to all the right videos.. Very engaging and educational... Will check all of them out... Thanks.

Your knowledge is comprehensive and you are so down to earth, and humble. I’m not one for snobbery and that vibe can be a major reason why I don’t watch some CZcams channels. Nice one Jason, thank you - Paul Zimmerman is a super rosarian who, like you is very generous with advice and suggestions to amateur's like me. Bunny Guinness, in England has a lovely CZcams channel and she's a friend to roses and gardens in general - she is David Austin's niece. I'm in far south Australia now, and my favourite rosarian was Susan Irvine, sadly she passed a couple years ago, but for Aussies her books are definitely worth seeking out - after being a head teacher, she devoted her life to growing thousands of roses over several gardens in Victoria and then Tasmania - I just hope all that love and knowledge and those beautiful gardens she created won't be forgotten. I suppose that's the joy of gardening, that we hope to make things better and rose growers like yourself and others can leave a lasting legacy of beauty for future generations. Enjoy... And thanks... :) .

The power of networking is tremendous. Jason @Fraser Valley Rose Farm I love your choices and most of them I know. Your channel, Paul Zimmerman, Rose Geek and Der Rosenmeister's work I'm very familiar with. Thanks for turning us on to other voices in the rose garden.
Yes, Paul Zimmerman's no nonsense rose approach is really good - for example - he shows you how to get the Japanese Beetles into the pail of soapy water - "Whamp" then I think he calls them little bastards. Hehe!!!!
The Rose Geek I've been following probably from her beginning. I can't keep up with the prodigious amount of content - and all carefully analyzed, documented etc. I definitely see the resemblance that you pointed out - You are both fantastic supporters of evidence based rose management.
Der Rosenmeister - I KNOW how he got that name, its in a recent video by Flock that highlighted his romantic garden of hardy roses in Ithaca NY. I've been planning to go up there for about 3 years - this fall I really must - just have a lot on my plate at the moment as usual. I've also been meaning to come to a meeting of the rose society that he works with... in time.
    Another great video!!!

I want to get them into the ground before our cold winter starts because they are more vulnerable to the cold while in containers.
