Another great video Dave, I will be there on Sunday 28th. April. I am looking forward to seeing the completed layout in all its glory.
Most enthralling episode to date. What a cab ride this has been to follow and will make when it’s all linked up. To boldly go where no OO has been before. Wonderful journey in the making👍
Wow that's fantastic. Thanks for the progress videos - the detail is superb ❤
This is a fab announcement, very best of luck to you all!!!
You guy's are doing an amazing job. Looking forward to the NEC. Good luck with the world record.
Why dont you 3d print a figure of everyone involved that helped an get chris to paint them up an put them somewhere on the layout just a thought would look cool
The very best of luck to all of you . Everyone knows you will get the world record. Keep up the great work chaps 😊
I'll give a thumbs up for crazy ideas.
Dave another great video again. Thanks for bring back the tea talk. 10/10. Already Shared this video to a few friends in Germany and the USA. Keep up the good work.
I think I will have a go at making the smallest portable layout using an O-4-O sitting on DCC Concepts Rollers on a board just big enough to have a piece of track, static grass, with a tree or two. Martin. (Thailand)
Fantastic Video Dave , Thanks
Great video Dave biggest model layout yeah..Fanastic job lads. Will see you on the Saturday with your yellow vest.😂
To Pete Waterman and all at Mega points Controllers... Re you Guinness Records project. Have you ever considered using "Box Section" steel for the layout base ?... With the correct design and construction it would not suffer from the variables found in wood, and alignments, once set, could be taken down, and rebuilt with extreme accuracy. No risk of warping, shrinking etc..... Just throwing an idea out there..
With all the different coloured hi vis you will all be wearing, it's going to be as colourful as a flight deck scene from Top Gun! The theme music could start with Danger Zone at the beginning of the attempt and conclude when you achieve the record with Take My Breath Away! Just get Kylie to perform Locomotion as part of the celebration party afterward! Good luck to all the team.
Wow what detail I hope you will put in the pill box under Bushey arches ?
I think Dutton Viaduct would make a great addition!! !!!!! Speaking as one who lives close by.
2007 European N Scale Convention in Stuttgart had a modular layout with over 500m of double track, comprising modules from several European societies all linked up. I have the T-shirt :)
had same sort of thinking but the USA version HO Modules ? prob other gauges as well ..
looking at the Making Tracks vids they are building Modules ? ..
But in defence of Making Tracks the build will be the same everytime they move ? ..
Interesting how they define largest. So a layout could be half the length of making tracks, but if it had twice as many roads on each board, it would compete as being the largest even though, physically, it was only half the size.
Madness perfectly normal , carry on team. ,
All that detail, and still NOT ONE passenger. Insane.
Always one........
@@wyldslanerailNo 2 ,where’s the figures.
@@mr488gto8figures look horrible. Just clutter.
They cant afford the fares!!
will hope to do Chester, When do the Shifts Drop??
good vid on channel nice see you going be nice model rail way keep up the good vid s you do on channel
The thing is where does the money come from to achieve this feat as it can not be cheap?
This sounds like a challenge being set down... now to find a few hundred feed of spare space? :D
The biggest cause of delays to trains are the passengers...
whats the big announcement then
A world record attempt, possibly the first of its kind....
Sorry will miss announcement as have to take my good wife to catch a train so will catch what I can at least Pete is smiling on this picture 😂
"OOHHHH NO WE'RE NOT HAVING THEM ARE WE???? OHHH NO.................................. do we get a badge?" 🤣🤣🤣 love Dave
DAVE,,,,,,,STOP MOANING!!!!!!!!!FFS! LOL
Please try and cut out the biscuits gentlemen there are too many unhealthy waistlines round the tea table. We don't want to lose any of you through illness, honestly.
lol, harsh, but true
If a bunch of nice old farts cant enjoy tea and biscuits for their hard work, whats it all coming to????
To PETE and EVERY ONE ELSE I WISH ( KNOW ) you in WINNING the " Guinness World Record " in the Largest portable layout from MYSELF and KINGSTON, ON, CANADA ( a city ( NOT ME, I TRIED 😢😢😡😡 ) that DOESN'T WANT/WISH a layout club even HALF your size !!!! )
Once again to EVERYONE " ALL THE BEST in your TRY ( success ) to CREATE a WORLD TRAIN MODELLING record !!!!!!
