- This is a review of the Economy Class on ANA All Nippon Airways from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Frankfurt. This flight was all about the food. There was just so much of it and on top of that, it was all delicious. I also paid a quick visit to the ANA Lounge in Haneda and made sure to try out the food there. This was a fantastic flight despite the older generation economy class seat.

That bus looks so much more comfortable and well organized compared to the usual airport shuttle bus experience.. Especially when I compare it to the Luton airport bus! That food was gorgeous too! Really good one!
Aw thanks for watching! Those buses are amazing! Just watching the staff dispatching bus after bus....you could set your watch after them LOL I've never been to Luton!
Yeah, the food was out of this world...so, so good! Just puzzled as to why they served breakfast for the second service haha.

Aw thanks for watching! ANA is one of my favourite airlines...but they are also always one of the more expensive ones. All the amenities come at a price! Haha. You can have one of my T-shirts! When you are back, I'll give you one. This review took me so long to do....but I am pleased with the outcome. Still trying to find a different editing software though....what are you using?

I'm using final cut pro X, the workflow is really fast for me, probably because I'm used to it. If I have to focus on a more complex project such as rewinds or a city video I would do it on Adobe Premiere.

I've never flown ANA but they look to offer a very good package. Decent seat pitch and that food looked amazing for economy class. Usually you get some slop in a plastic tray..lol.
Luv your humour on your reports but can't believe how much you ate on this flight considering you went to the lounge pre boarding!
My next flight will be Jan 11th from LGW to SAI (Ho Chi Minh) with Qatar, really looking forward to it as I'll be in Business Class.......yippee.
I might even attempt a video of it.
ANA are the best! Everything was as it should be and reminded me of the good old days of flying. Glad you appreciate my humour....at least someone does hahahaha. Business Class on QR? Awesome! I haven't done that yet but everyone always raves about it. Fingers crossed it will go ahead!!!!

The last time I flew them (and it’s been a long while), they had this option where you could pony up for business class food. I paid something like US$10 for a great bowl of udon.
@@aresef They have pre-order premium meals for economy now. Was going to try it but it's only available on day-flights out of HND/ NRT. I flew back on a night flight which was a shame.
Wow! So much delicious food!! Yes, a bit odd to serve breakfast on landing. Even when you calculate it to be in Japan time, it would still be like a midnight snack. Anyway, still looks delicious! And love their snack bar, their legroom and their 2-4-3 layout, which is perfect, giving travellers a choice of seating arrangement. Imagine a couple travelling on a 3-3-3 layout. There will always be someone else with you!
Yeah, breakfast did not make sense at all, either way. But still, it was tasty! On our last trip, they already had the new cabin with the 10-across 3-4-3 seating....luckily we managed to get the 2 seater down the back. Well, you know, Graham always gets to sit in the middle next to a stranger hahahaha

Hahahaha thanks! They don't just look great, they are also super comfy for travelling (but often mistaken for PJ bottoms LOL) They food was out of this world...for economy...so, so good! Didn't mind about champagne to be hontest....I was happy with the sake! Hahaha

Nice video. This configuration is definitely for the longest of long haul. Their regional 777 fleet is very tight and 31"-32" of leg room, plus the Japanese-favored very hard seat back and seat cushion.
Oh I love their hard seats on the domestic birds! Hahaha
@@SOPLANETUBE :) Asians and Americans are so different about this. Americans love soft mattress and soft seat backs, so the hard seat is a tough one for me.
Your funny story reminds me of when my then-wife and I were at LAX by the automated check-in shuffling items around to meet the United limits on our bags.
I am used to that from low-cost airlines but was so surprised that 1kg was an issue when I have status. But when the computer says no, it says no. Hahahaha. Thanks for watching!

Haha yes! I do like my sake, especially on the plane. GLad you liked the flush review hahaha. I have been at home in Scotland since February 2020! This flight was from April 2019 I think.....and by the looks of it, I won't be getting on any plane anytime soon 😥
2-4-3 ...Well blow me, never seen that in my life, that`s actually pretty nice. 34 inches of leg room is very generous, but please remember, size isn't everything :)) Love the Kabuki in the safety video, gosh, that was a long run to get your manspreadable`s in to the air !!One thing Japanese airlines always offer is and phenomenal food. No BEEF or COW here :))
Hahahaha yeah, it's pretty weird looking, isn't it? I think it was a bit more common back in the days. I've seen it before, just can't remember where. so enjoyable your trip reports and since your Q & A your mentioning your hubby more ,i'm straight but good for you ,anyway you fly often down the back end do you use the lounge's to eat well before you catch flights that you know the food you'd get you wouldn't give to a dog as we say ?i travel only eco so was thinking of getting a priority card
Thanks so much for watching and your kind words ❤️ He always pops up in my videos so I can not not mention him hahahaha....The only reason I use the lounges is because I have the gold card which gets me in for "free". Personally, I would never pay for a lounge unless there is legitimate reason for it. Paid lounges are often crowded and the food never that great. I'd rather spend the money on a proper meal in a restaurant. To be honest, I much rather just sit in the terminal and watch people and planes than pay money to go sit in a lounge hahaha.
I just do it for the videos and .....the free food and drink...because I am a cheapskate and a pig LOL

@@SOPLANETUBE I flew ANA last yr From Singapore-Tokyo(Haneda) & I made the right choice. The food was delicious. I had simmered chicken on the onward flight & Seafood Rice on my return flight. Both were delicious😋. Can't wait to taste their Sake & Corn Soup. But their Kabosu Juice was sooooo good, I had 6 cups on my return flight 😂😂😂
