Rock is Too Heavy - Owane. You wont regret it. Loved the reaction!

It’s just Owane’s music. He’s the keys, bass, and guitar. He has 2 other friends the drummer and the sax player (played through a puppet). Owane also does all of the keys for the Intervals album “The Way Forward”. Owane helped write the piano parts for the song “By Far And Away”. If you like Owane, then you’ll like that song as well.

So helpful! Also that's crazy he writes all of the parts

By far and away is one of my fav intervals tracks...had no clue that wonderful keyboard part in between was owane influenced/written...thats freakin awesome...

@@gulthepilot The rest of the keys were solely arranged by Aaron, but it’s Owane that is the one recorded for all of the keys on the album. They collaborated together on the keys for BFAA.

This kid is a fantastic guitar player and composer. I'm sure he's pretty much unknown in America. His drummer is awesome also. I've been listening to his music for years, it's just great music.

I like the lady puppet at the beginning of this video. They never said that she’s with the drummer, but we think she is ‘cause there’s a song from Owane called “Saturday Begins” and the sax player (I forget what his name is) is represent through a puppet and he was online dating and he met her. Then Owane has a song “Saturday Ends’ and the lady he was with was hanging the drummer. I forget what the drummer’s name is, but I can’t pronounce it anyway and I’ve never heard anyone say his name.

5:50 is funny because Owane used to do some cheap helicopter exploisive crashes on montage in his previous videos

  • @Arizona9001
    @Arizona9001 Před 2 lety

the real helicopter is reference to his other video U.T.F.F., a worthy listen/watch. subbed!

Owane is an anglified pronunciation of his given name Øyvind. It means island wind in Norwegian. In this video you can see the town of Tromsø, which is actually situated on an island between those mountains, in northern Norway.
For more Norwegian youngsters, I reccomend progrockers UMPFEL - "Tree".

No this is not the city of Tromsø, but the city of Sortland, Owane's hometown and current place of residence.

@@lcfnyc2007 Ooops. I didn't know they were that similar. Although I knew he is from Sortland, I thought he lived in Tromsø, because of some article.

@@perhvarnes I know I'm two years late to the party, but as a matter of fact, the city below the mountain - which is called "Fjellheisen" - is indeed Tromsø. I know Owane personally and visited him there a couple of years ago. It's a very cool spot to check out! You can take a cable car or walk up 1.200 stairs like we did.

Pretty cool to see young people getting into that jazz fusion sound and putting their own spin on it. Owane's album Dunno is my favorite of his. Good stuff.

Owane is one of my all time favorite musicians. So calming, uplifting, and at times very exciting.
Btw, that is a memory card lol. He frequently puts silly things in his videos.
Not sure if you have already, but you should check out either Love Juice or Waves. Both amazing songs.
    Great video!

please please don't pause to comment, ruins the continuity. this can be done without butchering the flow. I much prefer short comments for visceral reaction but pausing just ruins the flow. i know, personal preference, just saying. the music is much too good to keep stopping.
