Hi friends. This is Alan from Discovery Walking Tours TV and I hope you enjoy watching this video. I used binaural microphones to record the environmental sounds. So if you have a pair of headphones, do use them, it will be quite an immersive experience 😀 If you notice any interesting points in the video or want to ask about something that was caught on camera, comment with a time stamp (eg 00:01) and I will be sure to check it out. I am also interested to know where you are from 😄 so drop a comment below and say hi! After watching, and if you are keen to see and hear more of Singapore, do check out my Singapore Walking Tours playlist below. czcams.com/video/nsse-Zem4q0/video.html
Love it there in. Bugis street the foods is very good lots of stalls to choose from thank you for sharing your beautiful food enjoy your food thank you
Used to have my lunch at Albert Centre & then walked back to my previous office nearby CHIJMES some time back. Missed the food there. One of these day should go there & take a video and posted on my channel. Thanks for the memory, friend.
Thanks for the videos! I have been bing-watching most of them. I am a g huge SG fan, last time I went there was in 2013 and can't wait to go back. All the times that I have visited SG i have stayed at the same hotel (South East Asia Hotel) which you can see briefly after you leave the Albert hawker centre and peeked in the shop with the big buddha outside. Funny that I can still remember all the places and shops! and can even pinpoint where ypu are going 😁
Thanks for watching and glad you liked them. 2013 sounds like a long time ago and you are definitely overdue for a visit 😄 when the pandemic is over, come back to Singapore again
Hi, another great walking tour. Could i request a walk ? I am travelling to Singapore in September for the F1 grand prix. could you maybe do a walking tour around the track or by the pit straight.... if that's possible? Also around the Padang area? Thanks keep up the good work.
The F1 Pit building is a distance from the Padang but I can try to cover as much distance as possible. The Padang is currently undergoing refurbishment as our National Day (9th Aug) is coming and the celebrations will be held there. I am not sure if I will have access but I can try 😊
Glad to hear from you Marian 😊 hope things are well for you in Australia. I haven't seen Bugis Street in its "glory days" in the 1970s. Heard it was a different world then 😉
helo.new subbie here. i have a Q. did you walk from Bugis street to Orchard road? is it far? secondly is Bugis street the walk way that you were in with all the different shops in it? thank you so much. going to Singapore in less than 2 months whoop whoop.
Glad to hear from you Ms Pink 😊 yes I walked from bugis Street to Orchard Road. Although Orchard Road is a long road and I stopped at Plaza Singapura which is the start of the Orchard road stretch. For your 2nd question, yes, Bugis Street is all the different shops. It's a 3 storey shopping mall of sorts
Thanks for the feedback Charles. It's one of my earliest videos and still learning the ropes. In any case, am I turning too fast for you to see the details? Or does the turning make you giddy?

Thanks Kerry! What was interesting that caught your eye?
Was this filmed in May? Hard to tell what month it is.
I usually film and post within 2-3 days, at most 1 week. So you can check the upload date as a point of reference
Singapore food is so cheap, year 1987 during
My off day, I spend only
$ 5.00 the whole day including my snack.
Nice film... Please try not to move camera too fast...😊
