@@thorne1239 True, Secretariat was a great horse but he's too far back, Frankel is the horse for now.
@@nightowl7459 It isn't so much it was too long ago, it's that you can't point to one performance and say "There will never be a greater horse than this." And I see Secretariat fans do that over and over. There is no evidence that Secretariat was consistently a better horse than say Sea Bird or Swaps, Ribot, or Kelso. His Belmont was an amazing race. But so was Frankel's Guineas, Sea Bird's Arc, and Swaps 1:33 mile around two turns. And Frankel and Sea Bird never lost to garbage horses like Angle Light and Onion. I'm an American, but I'm not an idiot.
