He got scared of the pacemaker, who ended up stopping, this was Frankels worst race and only his class got Queally out of trouble. Anyone thinking Frankel was not the best ever, watch his next race at Royal Ascot, this horse kept Sir Henry alive longer than he would have lasted. RIP SIR HENRY.

Another 100m and Frankel would have lost that....stlll, I suppose you could say the same about anything.

Hard whipped 4 times in the last furlong, exhausted at the end and beating an average Listed horse. This is the most ever rated performance in racing history. Frankel got alot better, maybe even became the best. But this race is rose tinted. Brigadier Gerard Beating Mill Reef and El Gran Senor beating Chief Singer is a different class.

The whole story was amazing, a horse of raw talent, who 90% of the time told the jockey how he wanted to run, and a trainer of the Highest Quality in poor health, bringing this amazing string of top victories. Frankel was a complete racehorse and only the best make it look that easy, they can speak of Secretariat, Sea The Stars and the like, but Frankel was a one off, he could win from any position, even at Royal Ascot he went too quick and the wrong tactics were deployed he still managed to last home. Superb racehorse and no less than Henry deserved in his last years of training.

I said to my old dad years ago the very first time i saw frankel run and told him "dad you have just witnessed the greatest horse u will ever see" he laughed at me that day my old man but i got last laugh never see another frankel what a horse ❤

Terrible ride and only a top top class horse could got the job done.

The overtake on the outside round the bend was something, but even more impressive I think is his action as soon as he hits the front and powers up the straight. Its beautiful.

Over a Mile He Probably was the Best weve Seen . 10 furlongs Very Good , but probably not the Best weve Seen. 12 Furlongs was avoided for a reason. Sea the Stars and Dubai Millenium are also Right up there as the Best of the 21st Century Imho. As for all Time Has to be Secretariat, and Sea Bird . Nijinsky and pent Celebre' and Shergar also Incredible Horses
