Sir what is the guarantee that students will get marks for wrong MCQs. We do not get MCQ answer sheets to check the marks alloted. Again a big loophole in ICAI's marks evaluation system.
The MCQ which had mistake: Bought 12000 shares of X Ltd @ Rs.25 each (Beta of X = 1.2), Sold 7000 shares of Y Ltd @ Rs.45 each (Beta of Y = 2), Nifty Price is Rs.1200. On the day of settlement, X increases by 3%, Y decreases by 2%, Nifty increases by 1%. Q1 Find the no. of nifty contracts to be bought to hedge the above fully Q2 Amount of Cash inflow on settlement Q3 Total net gain/loss on the transactions (These were not exact words but I have given the crux of it) Now coming to the mistake, there was a printing mistake by ICAI where they printed 1% instead of 10% for increase in Nifty, because the Q2 had the option of Rs. 297300 and Q3 had an option of gain of Rs. 42300, rest other options didn't tally with each other so this is the only logical solution by elimination of options of Q2 against options of Q1.

i took lectures of other faculty which is sugested by my senior but when i sat for preparation i couldnt even able to solve a question of any topic i was so tensed then but one friend of mine suggest your revision vedio and i watched later i am able to solve almost all question of every topic beacause of u and today beacuse of your revisions i am confident that i will get an exemption in todays paper
