  • How many grafts do I have still available in my donor area after my 2 FUE hair transplants?
In this video, I visited the HLC hair transplant clinic in order to have a consultation and find out how many scalp grafts and beard grafts do I have available for my next possible hair transplant.

I'm curious, if you have done 2 hair transplants and on finasteride, why are you still losing hair and need another one?
Seems like the 3500 grafts you have transplanted should be enough to have covered your head?

3500 follicles is not a lot, if I'm not mistaken the whole head has about 100 thousand follicles, I'm bad at math but 3500 to cover a whole hairline is too little, the correct thing would be 10 thousand or more

So a patient can choose FUE first & exhaust using FUE X amount of times, then decide to go with FUT to extract the remaining 1000-2000 graphs?
I realize this is exactly the opposite way of correctly starting a transplant. Standard operating procedure is FUT 1st, then after all FUT operations are done which is 1 to 2, then proceed to FUE.
Next million dollar Q, Which are the top 3 surgeons that perform FUT in Turkey?

imo. a good number 2 guard shave with SMP would be ideal. You don't need that much hair to have the look of a full head of hair unless you're trying to have a style haircut,.. meaning one were you have to comb it. You are limited b/c of your light density and light hair and you're lucky to have what you have now. I'd consult with SMP artists and get multiple opinions on both harvesting more grafts and from smp artists.

My opinion is that at the moment, finastride and minoxidil are your best chance to slow hairloss and maybe stop it. The truth is finastride does give many men side effect, but the hair transplant Doctors say its only 2% so you will go under the knife. Ideal scenario for my 1st transplant would have been either: 1. 2500-3000 grafts FUE with more conservative hairline instead of 3500 FUE I actually got...or...2. waiting for more years until I reach NW 5+ stage and get a big strip. But if you don´t want to wait with your hair transplant for 5-10 more years as a 20 year old guy, then small FUE with conservative hairline is almost always the answer. We know that transplanted hair lasts forever, and even if it eventually will thin out, it still will be covering a large portion of your scalp. Matt in my opinion your best option maybe a hair system in the future. I think hair transplants only really work for older patients who have mild/moderate hair loss. Because you are young and the hair loss is pretty aggressive I think personally you are wasting money on a battle you won't win with the current hairloss drugs/procedures. A decent hair system look really good these days. I'm not a hairloss expert or being disrespectful but its just my opinion.

when my borther return after one year the doctor says you didn’t tell me the results become thinner during steps of month(the step has been send evry month by month) Oky what is solutions now, answere there is no solution the doctor and assistant didn’t have solution.

FUT leaves a linear scar that can be camouflaged using SMP and leaving the hair grow a little longer at the back. FUE produces thousands of tiny scars at the back and sides of the head which are exposed if the hair is too short
FUT done properly can be undetectable and leaves room for more procedures to be performed if necessary.
