    Sir, I am 43 year old, 66 kg male and started running since Feb 2024. My goal is not race but just wanted wanted to be fit. Until now I observed that my max HR is 165. I think in my all runs I have not put my maximum efforts as you suggested in this video. I will try that 15 min run with max efforts and see what is my max HR. I tried many times zone 2 running but it feels like walking. HR moves very quickly to Zone 3 and 4. I have to stop running to bring it back to Zone 2. I observed that I can't even hold 2 min in zone 2 and HR shoot into zone 3. Just by going into running posture HR goes into zone 3. I use Polar Flow or Strava on mobile to track my run and HR. Its very difficult to keep check of HR on mobile devices. As my goal is not race and just wanted to stay fit I also don't want to invest in watch (A good watch cost nearly 15K). how can I improve on this, please suggest.

      Thank you .Controlling heart rate for higher pace is a slow process and it takes time. There is no one stop solution that works for all. Everyone have to do few experiments to check what works . Every body is different . Everyone's lifestyle is different . Hence allow the body to take its own time to adjust to higher pace and heart rate. Till that time you can run slower, strengthen heart muscles and enjoy the journey.
