I also found it interesting is that this certain chapter in Mike’s life is similar to Jesse’s life after he shot Gale. They both spiral out of control with substances (for Mike it’s alcohol, for Jesse it’s drugs), and they seem to want to cut themselves out of the world and drown in their sorrow and self-hatred. This could be also why Mike was starting to like Jesse because he saw a little bit of himself in this person.
The notion that Mike has become one of the bad guys and he knows it is also shown in Fun and Games with his interaction with Nacho's father he tells Mike "You're all the same" and you can see in Mikes face how strongly that strikes a chord in him.
Loving these BCS analyses. BCS is one of the most fleshed out character shows and every character is so rich and psychological I hope you could do one of Kim, Gus, and Jimmy next
Gus would probably be the most exciting one out of them
@@HazmatPyro yeah i rly am interested about why revenge took over him on that wine scene when he couldve made a choice to stop revenge and just do his kingpin job as he normally did. i think his ruthlessness is somethimg just deeprooted in him as he mentioned in that childhood story of him torturing that animal that ate his fruit
Great take on Mike. Only flaw is that the little girl's name isn't Matty, it's Kaylee. Her father's name was Matty or Matthew.
Remembering Mike's story about "half measures" from Breaking Bad, I completely understand his self hatred. Dude has seen some things, some of them he could have prevented.
Mike is so tragic. I love the “I broke my boy” scene, makes me tear up. An analysis on Gus or Lalo would be so cool
While I agree with what's being said in this video, I think another component of Mike's reaction has to do with his son being mentioned in the first place. It's possible that he's trying to move the conversation away from his son. At last that's why he's trying to turn her attention towards the stairs being "nice and even". Not to mention, Matty was unintentionally walking Mike through his story with his son.
I absolutely love your channel. Your videos are seriously helping me to be a better person. - Jon from Unified Films
Yay thanks so much =))
Loved his character and dry humor
Another perfect better call Saul character analysis this guy is a better call Saul/breaking bad icon.
thank you so much Damian I am happy you are enjoying them
@@GeorgiaDow and I am happy you are posting the keep doing what you are doing.
I belive thst there is slight mistake. Mike's granddaughter name is Kaylee not Matty. Matty is Mike's son
oh bloody well !! not again sorry wish I could fix it
Great analysis of the character 🙌🏼
I know.
Mike is easily my favorite character in the whole Breaking Bad 'verse, exactly because he has that personal moral code of doing things like a professional. He's not a bumbling amateur like Pinkman and Heisenberg; he's also not a blustering thug like Tuco or any of the Salamancas for that matter. He isn't even a stone cold psychopath like Gus Fring. He just has a job to do, and he's committed to doing it as well as he can, while trying his best to not hurt anybody who's not "in the game".
Superb character analysis AGAIN, Georgia! I am certain you can not only be an effective consultant when people are writing stories and characters, BUT you would be a valuable acting coach as well! I've mentioned before that I really don't enjoy stories where they make the bad guys the heroes of the story...as people to look up to. Even though "Mike" is depicted here as having self-hatred after realizing HE is a bad guy...the truth is that this fact would have been self-evident LONG before this moment for anybody NOT in denial. Most if not all of the audience for these shows find themselves rooting for the bad guy. And worse, identifying with the bad guy. it is said that motion pictures and TV are a mirror of our times. This reflects a society...not at its best.
Another amazing Better Call Saul analysis! I would love to see your take on Kim's relationship with her mother in my opinion it's one of the most heartbreaking and complicated relationships in the show.
Thanks for the analysis! I appreciate your thoughts. Blessings on your day 👍🏻
Great video! I hope you tackle The Leftovers someday. That series is even more emotionally powerful than BCS/BB.
Thankyou for these thoughtful videos and character analyses 🙂
I'm reminded of a "that makes sense" moment in therapy about a patient's trending habitual divergences, and I watched a stigma floating around about the absurdity of a prosthetic espresso machine from someone who doesn't know what emulsification is 🤓
I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on Walter White 🤠
Love the analysis even though I have not seen the show 👏🏽
These are great. Hope you keep going with this show. Maybe some videos on Kim too.
She is a fantastic actor. Both in her scenes but also when reacting to other peoples dialog.
Always greats analysis,congrats. 🇧🇷
I love these, as always ❤ Are you going to do one on any of the Salamancas?
"Waltuh put you're D away waltuh I'm not having S with you right now"
-kid named finger
good one Georgia! ^^ thank you for the mind-food! 🙂
Always!
Great Video again
Glad you enjoyed it
Have you seen the shield, season 6 episode 6 has a most epic scene on television to psych analyse, directed by Frank Darabont who did Shawshank Redemption but he was guest director there, Vic Mackey and Shane Vendrell evil was something else seen on TV back then. They go back and forth for 9 minutes almost. Great video on Better Call Saul, it just ended few days ago and I am really sad about it.
Ooofff... I really hope you do almost all characters. Kim and Nacho, maybe Howard. But especially Jimmy.
Great analysis!
Will you going analyse breaking bad as well?
A analysis on jesse and walt would be interesting
Sorry for my english
Possibly! I will have to see if people would like that
Can u do an character analysis on the character Mike from “Mike and Malisa”.
Requests: "Untold: Malice at the Palace" and an anime called "Welcome to the NHK". Would love to hear your thoughts!
Small correction: His granddaughter name was Kaylee not Maddie.
Mike's the best.
Can you make another video on the Homelander?
His granddaughters name is Kaylee not Matty that was his sons name
I think you should do a character analysis on Klaus Mikaelson from the shows Vampire Dairy's and The Originals
I would love to hear your take on Breaking Bad
Could you do Farcry villains?
would love to see you talk about bojack horseman!!
would I have to wear a horse head ?
Hey I don’t know if u do request for reacts but can you react to a silent voice
I really should watch the show it looks interesting to check out.
Is this apart of the breaking bad show? It seems familiar.
Anyway this one is very interesting to me following a code that's a very age old thing deep part of history very cool 😎
It’s a prequel to breaking bad, for the most part
It's better call Saul watch it it's a must!
I hope she does infinity train before it gets remove from hbo max, such an amazing show
still sad to know that even when he said if he could do something over again it would be not to take his 1st bribe thus changing the whole character of him
You look exactly like courtney miller from smosh , can you do a video on Edward from twilight
if i get to sparkle I just may
@@GeorgiaDow thanks
Please react to City of God, Brazilian movie with amazing characters
No want to shave your head? lol ... Thanks for reacting to the Mike character. One of my favorites from the two shows. Enjoy character's with a "code". Thinking of Omar "strolling" from the wire, Col Jessep from A Few Good Men, Judge Dread, Anton from No Country for Old Men, Hannibal Lecter has a sense of what he thinks is civilized and eats the rude. Good guys also tend to have a code but is less of the focus and they also live outside the laws of men by being vigilante types. On a range of people being a Dominant personality type or Submissive personality type most will be in the middle between the two, with outliers on the edges. Such is how social creatures organize themselves and for the most part is a person vs person dynamic. However do believe there is and additional component to that scale that these live by code types can be an example of. Often seen as anti social. People who value adherence to a logic component over human relation can be seen as Dominant or Submissive or switching back and forth in a way not normal to most. As they are anchored to the pursuit of their ideal first and foremost.
Hah yeah I am too attached to my hair and lol a skull cap would look terrible on me =P hehe Hannibal is one I may do it is very interesting and I havent seen no country for old men yet will see
Jimmy next!
Better call jorge de guzman
