    I bought one of these online and it arrived yesterday. After unboxing it and looking it over and handling it in person, I am quite impressed so far with just how well built and put together it is. It does not "feel" like a $179 guitar at all. Might be one of the best guitars in this price range. I used to have a Dean Vendetta XM years ago and the quality of this is miles ahead of that.

    I changed the bridge and tuners black as well and look so cool now. Like LTD Black Metal guitars. You can tell someone I bought it for $500 and they will believe you.

      Hi Mayzek,l can absolutely guarantee that if you go into the 400+ series you are looking at serious quality,1000 series of course is the best then 600 series ( usually for signature models) 400 is the last of the pro quality ,once you go to 350 or lower you will see a slight drop in quality and Country of Manufacture will go from Korea to Indonesia and when you hit 200 you can be sure it will be Vietnam and finally China but LTD is an incredible company for quality even with a limited budget. I have 15 of them now so l really do love the LTD guitars!

    Hi guys, just own a EC-256 as my first guitar, I am just curious, I am using an app. called Yousician, it teaches through tabs, is it wrong? I want to play like you guys one day, and should I learn with notes? What would you advise?

    • @IRISHguitarist777
      @IRISHguitarist777 Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Mylo,Dan here again,i've seen Yousician and it looks very clever. I guess the best way to learn is to take every level of guitar study step by step. Learn basic chords Maj/min then more advanced 7th maj/min chords,then 9ths,11ths,13ths then play chord progressions. Then learn lead scales, Single string work,always clean playing,kill any buzzing notes etc. Learn maj/min scales and be able to play them all over the neck,listen to backing tracks and jamm along to them. Also there are thousands of beginning guitar videos on YT to watch. Heres a few tips on a video we did for example czcams.com/video/6LcLn6Ko-Cs/video.html hope that helped,above all just keep playing as much as you can,you WILL PROGRESS. Good luck man! From AP&D.

    Would you suggest this one, a Washburn X-33B, a Washburn X-30B (if you have any experience with them) or a JS22 Dinky for a beginner? The Washburns' are on sale for more than 50% and they're around the same price as the others or even cheaper.
    I've been thinking about what to buy for 2 days straight and I'm still not sure what to do. I researched the hell out of Floyd Rose's because I liked the Washburn X-40 the most which was also more than 50% off, before deciding it'd be too much of a hassle for a beginner like myself in case something went wrong.
    I just can't find much info or reviews on the Washburns and I was wondering whether their original retail price being close to €400 has anything to do with them having better quality parts than the guitars at the €200 range.
    Is a Tune-o-matic bridge better than having a tremolo (like the JS22 Dinky) in terms of tuning ease and/or staying in tune?

    • @aussiephildan440
      @aussiephildan440  Před 3 lety

      I have no experience with the Washburn or the dinky. Hopefully you can try before you buy. A tun a magic style bridge will always be more stable then a tremolo style bridge and usually better for beginners as if you put slight pressure on a tremolo style bridge the guitar will be out of tune. Good luck
