Yes, I agree. Most people, including doctors are unaware of this problem and it's surgical treatment. Having said this, ours is a dedicated centre for MVD surgery. So we get to see very many forms of Hemifacial spasms.

@@msuuups21 Definitive cure is chirurgical but only when a artery, a blood vessel or anything else touch the nerve... When it is a secondary hemifacial spasm ( due to recovery of facial palsy or when nothing is found), nothing can be made to the moment except Botox. But injections of Botox must be made every three to six months.
