Are utgard gear set better than vonleon set?
@@4lAces no i dont think so but utgard set can be used to transferr to 150 items so if you want you can 16 star utgard and transfer
Do the level 75 quest [Afterlands] for 4 totems! Just click on the white light bulb and start your quest that way.

Afterlands is a theme dungeon I'd love to for starting totems, also give pretty decent stats along with a set bonus.

We need an updated version of this since. They changed the princess no prequest. No longer get the ring belt or shoulder anymore
One tip you could have mentioned at the start, regarding the royal von Leon set, was that you can upgrade the ring to the *insert name, I always forget the name :/* if you trade in 9 royal von leon accesoires at the location of the queen.
I cannot stress enough how much more helpful your video is than most of other CZcamsrs that try to make f2p equipment progression.

you should make a video about how to progress in equipment from beginner to late game (how to get equipment).
Would you recommend von leon set or pensalir set since they’re both level 140 sets?
The Von Lon Set gets better flames (boss tier) and has a decent set bonus. It is level 130, so you can always just transfer hammer it to Pensalir if you are unhappy with it. That way you save some mesos.
I personally use VL gear because the flames can be really good, in most cases those flames outweigh pensair’s set bonus.
Nice guide :) are you doing an update now that the Sengoku quest doesn't award the accessories set anymore? I think farming coins for Yu garden to get the accessories there or silent crusade shop are good options for belt, or try for the boss set shoulder from easy Magnus

maplestory would be 100x better if they brought back the pig mount quest
Greed pendant from Monster Park is a great equip to farm those totems faster they give you 20% drop rate

for the totems if there isnt an event that hands them out its best to do the afterlands for perm totems

For the second dungeon the level 140 dungeon I was only able to complete it as ayami I don't have the option to do it with two other characters also I did not receive the belt

Lio zaid that’d be reflective damage, so all your attacks are reflected back to you. If you see the purple cross DONT ATTACK

ive always been a casual maple player, only really playing whenever theres burn events because I find the normal grind almost unbearable. Ive always wanted to boss for fun but atm my 151 Hoyoung is struggling with Von Leon on easy mode :( Never had any friends to boss with either.
I really wish to start playing maplestory once again. Any recommendations on whether to go on a regular server or Reboot? And how "alive" are the EU servers nowadays?
I absolutely recommend the reboot server. It's more populated, regardless of the region, but that means more friends to make :) but unfortunately more ksers and less maps for training during 2x.

That is an Ayame which is not a class released by nexon, the only way you can play her is through that quest

i have a question, is there an advantage to von leon equip set over pensalir, other than being level 130? i feel like if you have the 10 levels, pensalir might be quicker to farm, and more stat?
Flames, any equip dropped by bosses (except for gollux and sweetwater) can have higher flames than pensalir which if you want to get then you should be only farming the ones from Elite Bosses Bonus Stage which is already hard and annoying to do, Necreo Set (Hilla) and Von Leon have higher chance of better flames and can be farmed every day.

It's weird to think MapleStory is in a state where Von Leon is easy to solo and considered "early game"
For the totems can you just do afterlife dungeon for 3 totem with no duration. I'm kinda lazy and don't want to grind every month for those totems.

Yes except for the princess No gear that got changed! You have to defeat the boss now to get that gear (princess no) and she is pretty hard to beat early on. Still go for the Kanna ring though! But replace the shoulder with the Magnus shoulder -> absolab shoulder and the belt with either a gollux or zakum/pink bean belt

Hello, can anyone answer my question. I’m trying to go to the next map after I finish collect Crocky’s Helm. It asked me to finish a PQ. Is that the right quest line to get to Von Leon? I can’t find any parties to do PQ so that’s the issue.

I couldnt for the life of me get the lion king down solo on easy mode with Pensilar gear
