These guides and "road to 200" videos are really useful. I've been playing Maplestory on and off since Aran came out (highest was a 170) and I still don't know what the hell is going on.

Yup, i started playing again this week for the first time since 2010. So much has changed lol. Community seems a lot less active, but I'm only 148 so idk where the majority of the players are, I guess 200+/250+ areas lol.
Overall I really like that the game isn't such a massive grind anymore right off the start. You can actually do a quest line (grinding is faster tho in most cases) and progress to the next area when you're done.
I’ve been watching since the 5th anniversary and have never found an y of your videos boring and watch all your video :) Keep up the great content!

I came back to Maplestory after 7 years and was surprised that my characters were not deleted. 7 years ago I did not have a job for money to buy goodies from the cash shop. I came back to a lot of new stuff, which including the Legion system. I didn’t get too far back then, but I am gonna try harder this time around. This legion system seems interesting, so I’m gonna give it a try when I can. Btw: Hi Copper XD. I’m currently working on a priest (soon to be bishop) on the Elysium server (North America CH.2, just because).
This should help a lot given I've played off and on since around the release of pirates classes and they keep adding more things to the game I often don't completely understand initially.
I just started legion today and oh boy have I been missing out I need those stuff in the shop and the fact that you can get 30 daily is amazing

Oh legion grid. Thanks for explaining this because I honestly got lost when I first started playing. Good to know damage is based on level of characters and not their equips. Now I don't feel bad leaving characters "naked" in their battle against a giant chubby dragon
Aaah no! The character levels increase your legion level, but the your legion power is calculated by the amount of starforce on your equipment! So make sure they are all geared up and beefy!
@@coppersan good to know bout star force...i been having 0 star force on gear since started for lvl 1-150 grind XD..no wonder my 6 characters weren't harming him at all XD...was like screw that after 10 min the bar not budging much..also no mechanics in there(was boring)

Ik mis nog een klein essentieel onderdeel namelijk. Starforce hoe veel of hoe hoger je starforce is van je equips hoe meer damage de chars doen die op het bord staan. :)

the only reason i do not play maplestory anymore is because i think its impossible to play properly on non reboot server as a player that does not want to buy NX, also i would prefer playing on global servers using my old account but picking up items is horrendous without a pet :( .

If i apply legion points to one character, does the same attributes apply to all my character on that server?
Question, so I'm currently 10/10 on the grid. With 1458 legion total level. I have 1 SS, 3 S and the others are A. So basically I have to level up my other characters to S to be able to rank up. I need 1500 legion total level to get Nameless Legion 3

Hey coppersan should i play Europe server or america server because europe server seems to be most dead any recommendation about this?
Compare population and then decide. I'm from Europe, compared both EU and NA, at that point I'd say NA had like 20% more players on regular server. Reboot was almost entirely full on NA, while being lower populated on EU. (roughly the same as regular NA servers).

It doesn't matter which character goes where! You can use the highest level ones first as those have bigger blocks. Or choose the ones with the effects that you prefer :)
legion is like a _______ measuring competition the bigger the number the longer the ______ (keeping it family friendly) if you have more than 7k you need to go see a doctor
Considering coming back to Maplestory after a few years break. Is there a 'best' server to be on these days? I was somewhat established on Broa back when that was a thing but the server all my characters are on now looks pretty much dead.
Proboscis late but you can try reboot because for that server there’s increased exp and drop but there’s a lot of people there so it’s kinda hard to grind but if you’re planning to spend money on the game Bera is still somewhat populated

Proboscis most definitely pets try getting them from the wisp’s wonderous wonderberry as they have a chance of giving permanent pets although it’s very low and if you plan on getting to endgame you should buy maple points from the cash shop which you can use to buy mesos by going to the meso market in the free market which you can use to buy equips like chaos root abyss(cra),tyrant, sweetwater, Absolab, Gollux accessories and also arcane
Proboscis There is a mega-burning project happening along with the anniversary which lets you skip two levels after you level up (lvl 10-13-16 etc) but it only goes up to 150.

to get the legion coins? if so then no you can just enter the fight and press retreat to get the coins
after the green bar is gone you cant really damage the dragon using your own attack skills anymore, the other background attacking characters will be depleting the purple bar
Not really even worth doing dmg on that dragon after you get 2,5k+ legion, you get around 1-4 coins by dmging it and you can get quite a lot by just w8ing. ofc doing the daily quests are worth it in the beginning.
Yea you must invest so much money into your damage. I've never once spent any Nx cash on DPS shit.

legion sucks its the reason i don't play anymore. i crybaby everytime :) i don't play games for 40 characters i play and invest in 1 max 2 characters to make them the best. not to do 5000 other things to make my main chars the best. its silly and should not be accepted as normal in ofcourse ... MY.. opinion. gg wp bye maple :(
