- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Image Comics character "Pitt." From being a Human and Creed hybrid created by Zoyvod, battling his alien brother Wroth, merging with psionic being Jereb, protecting and then teaming-up with his human brother Timmy, crossover comics battles with the Hulk, to even battling Captain Curtis of the U.S. Army due to the meddling of the "ThinkTank" organization; Let's take a look at this Image Comics superhero, and powerful protector of the Earth. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic books and science fiction characters.

I like the characters. Think they add too much social justice into what I've seen in Invincible.
Yes. Prior to them, comics companies were uptight about meeting deadlines, maintaining interest in storylines and put out product on a monthly basis.
Pitt, Spawn and Savage Dragon were imo the best image comics. It's too bad there is no more pitt comics being made. He is such a great character.
I recommend Invincible. These characters crossover into his issue line, especially Savage Dragon.

Pitt is definitely one of a kind.
This was great and so long ago. Keown was a great artist who disappeared too soon. His Pitt and Hulk were outstanding. These comics were back when 'the art' was a character by itself. It had personality and grace. I looked forward to each copy. Comixology only has the Pitt/Darkness crossover available for a combined total of $5 so pick it up!

Pitt and Spawn was my top two comics to read from Image Comics. Keown art got better and better as he drew Pitt. Loved it so much. A very unique comic to read.
Image Comics were so underrated. I miss them. Max was my favorite seconded by Youngblood WildStar and spawn. But I'd always pick up an issue of dragon, pit or one of a couple others if I had extra cash. The art and the ideas in these story books was amazing.
I wish these guys would have gotten along with Stan Lee because they would have made some epic Tales and movies with the protection of Stan and Marvel.

Thanks for the video man. I didn't even know about Pitt, Badrock, Grifter, Warblade, Zealot, or Haunt until I saw your videos on them. The only Image characters I did know about were Spawn, Violator, the Witchblade characters, and Supreme and even then I knew more about Spawn and Violator than Supreme thanks to Death Battle. I dunno why no one talks about these guys as much as Spawn or Witchblade especially Pitt because he's such a badass! Seriously anyone who can go toe-to-toe with the Hulk is a badass in my book. Holy shit! I remember buying Pitt #1 when I was in 6th grade. I would draw him and then put those drawings on my wall. My parents thought I was nuts. lol Brings back memories. And no I don't have #1 anymore. What 6th grade takes care of their comics anyway.
Image had a fucking good thing going.. Spawn, Pitt, the MAXX, Gen 13, youngbloods.. and than todd went and fucked it all to hell.
As a whole, Image was freakin Legendary. Period.

I still have the complete comics series and my BAF Pitt figure, Pitt always been my favorite “superhero”..hes so badass and the story was very interesting too! I was so sad when they ended the comics! I love this character so much, i would love to get a movie about him, i think it would make an amazing R rated movie...but only if they really follow the comics storyline

There is an off grid graffiti artist based in Dorset called HünnüH who does Canvas sprays of Pitt inspired art
He's become somewhat a new trend in the past 20 years.....Banksy also made tiny metal sculptures of Pitts and placed them under the arms of statues in the Tate during a superhero themed exhibition.
Pitt really should have been situated in space more than Earth. I know it was the 1990s, these books were new to me then and I still have my copy of Pitt #1. But this was such a derivative story and character it really needed to set in space. Today, If Pitt was set on Earth, it would tank almost immediately. Later parts of Pitts story basically rewrote him has his species version of a super soldier. That should be the story to follow. Not some spiritually OP psychic boy who is for no good reasons bond to Space HULK.

I used to read a Pitt comic book I got from the children's hospital little shop I would go for almost 5 or more years but read the comic before I'd go thank you for reminding me it was an awesome comic

I remember him back in the early 90s, I was just a kid, But I always liked PiTT because he reminded me of a Pretty Boy Rocker version of the Hulk!!! There’s only one action figure of PITT , and it’s a build-a figure, witch is pretty hard to find!!!
