- Discord Embeds are a great way to take your discord server to the next level. Rather than just displaying information in the boring way that everyone does, Using message embeds allows you to present your information in a professional and concise way! In this video you will learn how you can make your own message embeds for your discord server.
I cover everything from setting up the embed profile, channel headers, displaying the information, using fields to create horizontal text, adding emojis including custom emotes, using hyperlinks and finally posting the embed and also editing it in the future. On top of that I have included some potential discord text formatting which you can include in your own embeds!

I can’t find the headers
I noticed one mistake within the video. When mentioning a role with the role Id. Instead of just you need to put for it to properly mention the role. Apologies but I only just spotted it

This confused me for a bit, but I figured it out. When you go to the video's description, to copy the invisible character copy what's *in between* the quotation marks :P It took me all day to figure that out. Haha! I feel silly. i know i'm late to this but @ 2:00 you say to post the image separately but if you see at the top where it says "Profile Files 8mb max." you can click that text area under it and browse for the image to use as a banner and it will place it above the post and it acts just like posting the banner separately

Great vid bar one thing, this might just be my problem though. I am unable to get copy ID of a role from discord.
To do that you just need to ensure you have enabled developer mode in the settings :)
Great video, it helped me a lot, but there’s just one small mistake. When pinging a role, you need to put an & symbol after the @ and before the role ID for it to work properly. If you don’t include the &, the embed will read @user but with the & included it will read @role instead.

if you add & right between the @ and the numbers for the role, the embed will at the role correctly.
so for example will @ the Server owner role in my discord on the embed.
I am having an issue, where I copy the message link and for somereason its not loading the emmbeded when I need to update it. Anyone know what I am doing wrong here?
To edit the webhook, I use COPY LINK of that channel but when I paste it to MESSAGE LINK at the bottom of Discohook, it says "Invalid message link." What am I doing incorrectly?

You can add it to an already existing channel by just creating the web hook in that channel the same way I showed in the video

How do we make a picture - for example like a banner info to not be embedded? I've tried searching everywhere but came up with nothing... :(

@@fleetdiscord I'll try my best - so your picture "INFO" how do we create it using webhook/discohook but without it (the picture) being embedded - so it doesn't have the line beside it? Same as when you type under "Content" you have it separate from the embed.

ok so you are trying to make it seem like a bot has sent the channel header "info" and ur using the content field in the discohook site. It's fairly simple to do. If you completely clear your discohook so there is nothing and then you put your profile avatar and name in you then want to find the section that says files and you want to click the blank box. It should then ask you to select a file and you just click the one you have saved (so for example your channel header). I think thats what you are looking for. Any issues either drop another comment or just ping me in the server :)

Just use a free image hosting service like imgur or something for your avatars/logos/images and whatnot.

You have to have developer mode on.
Settings > Advanced > Developer Mode
