Yeah, for some reason people still call a PlayStation 3 game graphics.
Yakuza Ishin Kiwami does not have a English dub. Therefore, we did not intentionally choose Japanese audio.
The Japanese audio is original, so it's not a dub.
Even if you intentionally choose Japanese audio, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's authentic or simply superior.
Every time I see the Shinsengumi kimono it screams to me enemy because of Rurouni kenshin. I would wear Kenshin's Kimono if they have the colors in the game.
Can you remove health bars and names on enemies?

This is awesome and it looks similar to the game Yakuza
It kind of is Yakuza tho. Same creators and the character looks like Kiryu and it's the same voice actor.

The demo on ps5 is only 3 gb.
Wish you did more damage like OG Ishin, combat isn’t fun when you have to rely on the special abilities. Also I hope the sword style has a speed upgrade because it’s brutally slow in the demo

It's a yakuza game. Lot of cutscenes. Leveling up fighting styles. Doing missions etc. I wouldn't class this a jrpg
From the looks of it,i dont think i would be able to play this becuz i played ghost of tsushima and its combat gameplay was matchless.

@@hmmmmmm3509 okay look, I played the game a bit. And, you’re insane. These are two entirely different fucking games. Ghost of “tsushima” is an open world RPG. Like a dragon ishin is a beat them up open city game or whatever you call it. This is like comparing Minecraft to goddamn Grand theft auto 5. And I actually think that like a dragon combat was better.
Is there no block or parry?
There is on certain styles. I just didn't use it. Found it post recording

its just better graphics. it feels pretty much the same. I could just use my muscle memory.

I tried the higher modes. You'll be running around a lot of trying to break their defense lol

Sadly we dont have tiger drop and brawler damage is nothing
Sad because I love the brawler style
The tiger drop is in the game just see the brawler trailer of the game
at least you can still use the other parry that one is pretty useful if you got the time right it basically made you temporarily invincibility then you can switch to other styles to deal damage
theres a lot of unlockable moves and stuff just like in previous games, dont worry about it
for PlayStation game, the UI looks so big just like the Switch games.. other than that it's awesome

Played the demo. Combat feels so rigid and clunky compared to previous Yakuza games. Remind me of Yakuza 3. Might pass on this one tbh
Yea I've played the demo 3 times now. It feels weird to me. I'll probably sleep on it and try again before game release tomorrow to see if it feels any different
I said the same thing, its just not fluid. I'll wait for a sale.
As a straight remake of only the second game to implement styles in any way, that makes sense; Ishin was a massive experiment in many respects, from the RPG-like weapon system, the multiple levels of heat bringing to mind how 0's Gear system works, and as far as I can tell the original (not the remake) having QTEs in even its non-branching heat moves that make them do more damage.
