This might be controversial, but I really do think that the Dutch East indies, or Indonesia, really is the best country in Victoria 3. And I'll show you why!

I guess you got the reforming the indies event twice and the event that allowed you to become a parliamentary republic because if you annex your enemy in civil war you also inherit certain events and journal entries even if you have already did them once

I don't no you can form indonesia through dutch east indies, I always try to form indonesia with any independent nation in indonesia area. Cool now I know how to form my nation in vic 3, i always want to play as Indonesia but no tutorial or guide in youtube how to do it in the easy way, thank dude!!!!!! You're awesome

You get a similar event as EIC. I won my independence war against Britain but because that I was my first time playing EIC, I accidentally chose the wrong option and I exploded India into multiple independent princely states lol

I think you can delay pan nationalism if you annex your subjects before declaring independence. It might be slower than just rushing pan nationalism but it does at least progress something you'll want to do anyways
I want you to play as Indonesia but this time play as Yogyakarta which is puppet of dutch east indies and will be the capital state in Indonesia (before jakarta) based on historical event. ❤

The neederlands have a special desition that all their colonies in indonesia can be transfer to east india company.
The event "The end of the provitional goverment" its a bug. It should fire if the rebel party won. The revolutionary government its get assing by the preference of the mayority of the rebelin IG. If IG have no special stance on any Governance Principles laws preferece the defaoult is presidential republic. When the rebelion wins this event fires up. As it say is asking you if you want to mantein the provisional goverment (presitendial) or "going back" to parlametarian republic.
Also homesteading its better land reform law that tenant farming because it help you to liquify landlord clout (if you don't add instant to the mix census or universal suffrage, wait to industrializa and have a strongs unions and industrialist to pass this voting system).

Yes, that would make for a Great Power. both in 1880 and even today. Imagine ASEAN as a federal republic with democratic stability, yeah that'd make for a global power.
4:00 I don't think it particularly matters when you go LF in terms of the number of capitalists you have (you will gain these naturally through changing PMs to make industry capitalist-owned). Generally though, moving off of traditionalism to interventionist - so that you may subsidise whatever is necessary early game - and then moving to LF is a good idea
I find that if I go LF too early, I really hamper my production, and there’s just not enough capitalists to properly fun the construction sectors, so I like going interventionism as a good stop gap :)
The reason you got a free state from the dutch when they started colonizing New Guinea, is because they can give you land a la Colonial Authorities in Africa. Fun Fact, if East Indies becomes someone else's puppet, they can do the same thing.
I had a really good Indonesia game where I broke free from the Netherlands (because they sided with Britain against me for some reason in a diplomatic play) before pan-nationalism so I couldn't get Indonesia at first. Then I went communist (lmao) and somehow got the event again so I could form Indonesia, not sure how that worked. By 1910 I was number 1 great power but every single other power ALWAYS sided against me. I don't understand diplo in this game... I made my standard of living so high it was insane with all the best laws.
Sounds like a great game! Your infamy might have been too high, which makes other powers want to side against you

@@Aldrahill EIC is quite different from sikh empire though, and its quite challenging but rewarding in the same time

If you didn't have a navy how did you beat Portugal with a war rep wargoal? You would have had to naval invade Lisbon.
War Rep wargoal is fulfilled by taking any single piece of held territory! Portugal owned the Sunda Islands, so just walking onto it satisfied the wargoal!

How do you fight battles in this game, where are the units on the map like in hoi4?
instead of directly controlling troops, you place generals on frontlines. Tbh though it's not great and I wish they'd just left it as it was in vic 2, eu4 etc.
As the reflow replied said, you assign armies to fronts and they move themselves - needs a bit of work tbh
