That's what Apple does with the Bionic chip. TSMC has already stated that they can max out the chip but only do incremental increases so they can still produce the chip, and Apple can still upgrade phones for $$$$.

У меня до этого был самсунг простой samsung A5. Я с этот телефон 5 лет активно использовала, Везде путешествовала и в холоде и в жаре от -40 до +46 Южная Африка, Греция, Боливия, Аргентина, Дальний Восток России, Сибирь. Ну когда совсем жарко было в Греции +45 °С телефон от жары заряжаться не хотел. Я его холодильник на 15 мин а потом доставала и можно заряжать телефон. Бывало падал, экран треснут был по краю, но работал отлично. И купалась с телефоном в море на плаже и делала фотогравии и видео. Ни разу не ремонтировала.
Только потому что этот простой телефон Самсунг галакси А5, смог проработать мне верой и правдой. Ни разу не подвел. Я решила что следуйщий телефон будет именно samsung. Поэтому как только вышел samsung s 21 Ultra я купила и очень довольна.
Старый свой телефон samsungА5. Я подарила в Буэнос Айресе на день рождение Россиянину который был без телефона. Они с женой были очень рады принять мой подарок. На тот момент у меня не было деняг и ничего что я могла подарить. Но знала что у человека нет телефона и он уже несколько месяцев, планировал купить телефон. Там семья с двое детей. Очень хорошая семья.

A little correction for min 2:42, the s23 ultra doesn't have 128gb, it starts at 256
For min 4:27, instead, the battery is the same capacity, but the s23 had some very good improvements specially from the software and optimization

I had to upgrade from a Note 8. I did not want to do it and try to get a couple of more years out of the Note. But after a couple of days with the Ultra 23 I am glad I did and the differences are a lot more profound than going from one Ultra to another.

I've had major problems with the call quality people ring me, and it's hard for them to understand what I'm saying. Do samsung like to knock out a new model that brings with it minor improvements? It's almost like they deliberately hold back on updates and improvements for the s21, s22 so that the s23 comes with them.
Currently own a s21 ultra but not tempted by the 22 or 23. Thinking of changing to a xiaomi 12/13 Pro.

All I can say is, I spent 1200 for my S22 Ultra with a 1 TB. S23 Ultra Is not much of a difference or, in my opinion, to upgrade. And to only get 600 bucks for the trade in? Naww, I will keep my S22. However, I am saving now (50 to 100 a month) because, later on, the S24 or S25 may be a huge difference or jump than the S23, and of course, the S22. So, I am going to wait til next time.

Plan to get a S23 Ultra in a couple yrs, just ordered a S21 and will be more than enough to get me by 2-3 yrs, I mostly always get a 2-3 yr old phone as your still getting a very nice phone for less than half price of the new one which is IMO the same phone minus a couple upgrades you'll probably never use or even notice, the updated phone yearly is crazy to me...its like trading in a TV every year because the new one has a couple upgrades lol Honestly most only do it just to say they got the new iPhone/Samsung..

I have S9+ and still none of these three phones would feel like an upgrade to me... No iris scanner, no hard press underscreen home button, no 3.5mm jack, no LED, no extra programmable button (aka Bixby button), no fingerprint sensor that could be swiped to bring down the notifications, no symmetrical flat camera system so you can wear your phone without a case and have it flat on the table... No Gear VR... Screen curvature is getting smaller and smaller every year... I would have to give up so many things in order to "upgrade".

That's not accurate. Samsung has other models. Fold and z flip...which are quite different. Name an Apple product that competes.
The S series is Samsung's gold standard model. They're not looking to make waves with it anymore.

Ive just come to the end of my contract and as a former Note 10 owner, i really missed an S Pen in my S21 Ultra. I have one with a case but its a clumsy solution. I have seriosly considered the S23 Ultra but i thnk ill hang on for the S24U. God i miss expandable storage though, i hate Samsung for taking away the headphone jack, heart rate sensor and SD card slot.

Pretty sure you can't get the S23 ultra in 128gb storage. Also the S21 might have more ram but it performs slower and the S23's 12GB is better than the S21's 16GB. The S23's 12mp selfie cam performs better than the S22's and the S21's.
