  • Here is a full start to finish tutorial of a shaker cake topper I made in Cricut Design Space.
    In this tutorial I show how I made this shaker cake topper in the easiest way I could think of that would be achievable regardless of the type of cutting machine you are working with. I show how I designed and put the topper together in Cricut Design Space. I share what worked and what didn’t and what I would do different next time. It’s a learning process than only gets better with time and practice. As usual feel free to ask questions by leaving a comment or find me on social media or by email.
    Thank you!

    Thank you soooo much for this amazing video. So far the best one to follow! You did a great job. I so have one question. Will we get same results by using the "offset" feature on design space versus duplicating 6x? Or is your method better for more Sharp edges? Either way I love ur method. Just curious as to what the difference is

      Thank you for your kind words. Yes this video was before the offset feature was available. So yes use the offset feature and it’s way better and easier. 😊

    Is it me or at 5:21 there is a faint voice that says "Hello". I think I heard it because I'm wearing headphones. I played it several times and I hear 'hello'

    i use to use design space, but i've always been obsessssed with offsetting and i had to switch to silhouette, so many options

    Did you cut your supplies using that sticky mat? It bent up all my cutouts. How did you get yours so perfect? Thank you for sharing. Even though they're bent, I know my son will love his cake topper!

    • @UnaCraftyTeacher
      @UnaCraftyTeacher  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes the mat is very sticky at first and could bend some materials. I always use a scraper/squeegee very slowly. After a few uses it won’t be so sticky and easier to work with. Hope it helps 😊
