Newer to the game, but I feel like you guys were ignoring the "sharp corners" rules. 28:41 He entered the corner tile crossing the dotted line, but only went down to 2 instead of 1 like he should've (since the line was labeled a 1). Page 12 of the rule book. And also Page 13 covers the the triple lane corners with the double wide inside...which you can't move diagonally to the outside of a double wide to avoid the dotted line on entry. Those corners you can only enter straight on.
I root for the Joe Gibbs drivers. I'm originally from the Washington DC area and grew up as a Redskins fan. So when Joe Gibbs started a NASCAR team, we started watching NASCAR. We had season tickets for Dover, Pocono, and Watkins Glenn. I have lots of fond memories of going to those races (and others) as a kid/teenager.
What do you think about house ruling being able to use red dice to skip increasing gears as well as braking?
go for it!

Rules mistake at 18:00, cant overtake an opponent in lower gear.
you're right! we tried to keep on top of that throughout the game. But that one slipped through!
