Thank you! I feel you on that. I've found doing what you enjoy for a living can over time make it feel like "work". As soon as you have clients waiting, or pushing for deadlines, takes some of the joy out of it, not to mention doing it over and over.
Hang in there! We appreciate it!

LOL, couldn't resist since it looked like a sax. I'm definitely getting more comfortable to the point I didn't even think about showing the welds. They came out really well, strength wise and properly welding the pieces together. Not instagram pretty, but some parts were. I think what'll improve the look of my welds is an actually table and something to hold the piece I'm welding together rather than propping them up with a roll of tape on work on a wood crate lol. Didn't take long!

Seeing all this work being done to your Cruze makes me so envious. I have a UK spec 1.6 and wouldn't have a clue where to start for large-scale modifications like this. I've only changed the rear lights to LEDs and added a boot spoiler and roof spoiler to it. I do plan on getting a CAI and bodykit but all that's a far cry from this work. Keep it up.

That's awesome! Building anything other than stock definitely has it's ups and downs. When I did my V8 El Camino conversion, got the stout engine in, and not long after, blew the trans and open diff all at the same time and was left stranded on the freeway. Didn't stop me from just building the next piece to get it back on the road. Wish I would have filmed more of that build. Lots of fun, but hard work as well.

As far as tuning, I'm not seeing it listed on HPTuners site. So chances are you would have to go with a stand alone ECU, unless you can dig deeper and find some sort of tuning solution that'll work with the stock ECU. Plugging HPTuners in and seeing if it'll read and or write may work, but if it's not listed on their site, chances are it wont work. I'd be interested in what ECU is in the vehicle. DM me pics of the ECU if you don't mind to my instagram.

Have you considered doing the "Big 3" power upgrade to help out with the dead battery issues? since i know most of your power issues typically are from starting it more often then running it to charge the battery, it may help get things started up. or even moving the battery into the trunk and getting a larger AGI battery?
