"Do you think you are that interesting that everyone is thinking about you all the time? And if no one is thinking about you, that is utter freedom. Why are you thinking through what they may be thinking? It is not necessary. Just focus on what you want to do. Let others think whatever they want. Maybe they have nothing better to think about, so they are thinking about you. It is largely in your imagination that someone is always thinking about you.
Most people are busy with their own problems. They are not thinking about you, and that is fine. It does not matter if someone is thinking about us. Do not worry about other people. You cannot fix what they are thinking. So, why bother about it?
Leave their psychological problems to them. Do not try to solve them. They can think whatever nonsense they want. Why should it affect who you are? If you think you are okay, it is fine. If others think you are not, it is their problem.
If you are worried about what someone is going to think about you, you will not do anything in life. You can never get everyone’s approval to do what you want to do. So, do not worry about that. Just focus on what you want to do." - Sadhguru

My first thought about what Sadhguru will say when the girl asked question about her hair was that , to look at Sardarji who is wearing turban. I thought he will say that if you also wear turban then you wont have any hair problems.

    What Others Think
Once upon a time it was announced that a dog show was to be held and the top prize was set at $1000. But this was a special show because to win the money it required all ten judges to agree on only one dog as better than all the others. So through a process of elimination it came down to selecting the best dog out of the last two - one was a Border Collie and the other was a Golden Retriever.
Both were nice dogs and most of the audience wasn't able to tell there was anything special about them just by appearances. So to make them even more noticeable, the owners washed them and brushed their coats until they were shiny and smooth. They even tied colorful ribbons on them and brushed their teeth. Both dogs looked their best and they both wagged their tails and wiggled their butts when their owners would pat them on their heads.
And now the big moment had arrived and the judges examined the two dogs while the proud owners stood beside their pets. The judges cast their votes and the results were in. Half of the judges liked the Border Collie and half of them preferred the Golden Retriever. And no matter how much they discussed it, neither side could convince the other to change their votes. And so the contest ended in a draw with neither dog owner collecting the $1000 prize.
Once the two dog owners left the show they met outside in the parking lot to complain to each other how disappointed they were at the results. They talked about how they did so much work trying to win the approval of the judges and it was all for nothing. Then they unleashed their pets and immediately the two dogs ran off to splash and play in a nearby mud puddle. They seemed happy the show was over and they could finally have fun just being themselves again. They wagged their tails and wiggled their butts as they chased each other around in the dirty water.
The moral of the story is: Your happiness doesn't require the approval of others. Do what makes you happy, and if others don't approve of your choices that's their problem, don't make it yours. As the old saying goes, you can't please everyone, so just please yourself.
In this story the pet owners let the choices of others determine their happiness, but the dogs didn't care what anyone thought of them, they were happy just being dogs and doing what they loved to do.
So do what makes you happy and don't worry about what others think. This is an important thing to learn in life, especially for young people who often base their own happiness on the approval of friends.

If you're concerned about your appearance so much you want to fix your hair 27 times a minute, then the issue is much deeper psychologically then simply being "empty". That's just such a half ass thing to say of somebody who is a spiritual guru. Maybe the reason people someone is concerned about their appearance so much is because of mental trauma, or societal toxicity. It just depends. I think it's a cop out to blame that on being someone who cares about things that are not important, that certainly goes deeper than that.

Maybe people saying "it's psychological... I need to understand it more deeply" are the ones who are copping out from taking responsibility!!!

      1. Become busier and have more purpose. Busy people don't have the time out attention to care what others think of them... they don't give two hoots
      2. Don't exaggerate your worth in your mind. A person flying on hot air will come down with a crash.
      3. Don't judge others. Then you will forget that they can judge you too 😜

I don't know. I think there's a lot to mental health and psychology of human mind that we don't understand. To say that someone can easily change the way they are by doing the things you listed is kind of arrogant. Not everybody's brain works like yours. I think we don't, nor you, really understand how much things in life subconsciously affect who we are as people, and what kind of mental consequences people deal with because of their past experiences.

You are just too lazy to change your ways.
"We can't understand mind" is your lame excuse, which allows you to do so.
