For this one, keeping track of commander damage would have been good since it was such an important fact in this match. Wales getting to 15 thraben watcher damage was a nailbitter!
I'll just keep holding out hope that they'll do away with commander damage. JK but boy is it a pain to track.

What a match! Crypt Rats is a cruel commander to be sure, so it was pleasing to see it bested. Interesting to have a players perspective during the game, would be even better with all 4 players input, or perhaps more conversational. Thank you for the video. Top notch editing as always.
Crypt Rats is exceptionally hard to beat - underplayed menace, the commander is terrifying.
Especially when your wincon is tickling then to death with intestinal parasites 😂

Hey I had a good argument goin w some of the bigger pauper edh guys a while back and I just wanted to pop in and ask if you all still think black lotus is a bad magic card?

Or did the community evolve a bit since I last chatted w it?
I can't speak for the whole community but it's definitely not a bad magic card. Dark Ritual is only as good as the thing you're playing early with it. In PDH I don't think you can justify playing it by what's in your 99. The commander is going to much much more important in making that decision. For example, I've seen it in Loyal Subordinate and Syr Konrad decks because they focus a lot more on dealing damage than generating value and being out for 2 additional turns is a big deal. That's 18 extra damage with Loyal Subordinate but in Thrull Parasite you need to keep your hand full to have things to extort. Thrull Parasite also gains you life so it's better in a long game.
