You can evolve, semi evolve, or fully play on tour because at this point everything is already a bonus. You can even only play strictly on grand slams if you don’t want to play full tour (maybe one warmup tournaments beforehand if you want). Whatever you choose, we fully support you.

A Wildcard is NOT a reward. A wildcard is an opportunity for the player to play and win points and get her real ranking faster after an injury or some kind of retirement. And it is also an opportunity for the tournament to have that player in the draw. Venus is playing regularly, but her ranking is low because she doesn't win. Let's be honest here. if she asks for wildcards for an entire year, she's a legend, she can do that... but sooner or later she's got to win some matches and have a ranking, otherwise I don't think that tournaments will keep giving her wildcards and I don't think she'd keep asking them either.
