Since the breakup, Kandi has become a sought after Grammy-winning songwriter and successful entrepreneur, but is she ready to share the spotlight again? Putting her music on hold to make family her number one priority, Tiny is keen on relaunching herself in the industry, but just as her music career is on the rise her marriage is tested. LaTocha is all about focusing on the group and pushing them to the next level of super stardom, meanwhile, Tamika who continued in the industry over the years is looking to get back to her roots with where her music career all started. With two sold out shows in Detroit, performances at the BET Awards and Essence Festival, will the group be able to reconcile and look past bubbled up resentments and give their fans the comeback they've been eagerly anticipating?

Kandi didn't write that song. Xscape is doing a cover of The Jones Girls's song. That song came out in 1979. Xscape did a good job but, The Jones Girl's harmonies are one of a kind. Nobody can touch them. They were the best. I remember THAT song. It was on the B side of The Jones Girl's first hit "You Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else." Both songs were hot!!

I mean, Xscape were never known to be sexy. Back in the day their look was very tomboy-ish. They're not Salt n' Pepa but they don't need to because they're not rappers, they're singers. LaTocha's still got it. Her vocals are so good. It's tragic that her solo career never flew in. She and Coko (from SWV) deserved to have been big.
Mr. Blorox Cleach TLC had great success and crossover appeal but vocally were not better singers than Xscape..They had a persona that worked for them and stage presence.
Pink Starlite Many of the groups back then.. SWV,TLC, JADE, BROWNSTONE etc had that style. You didn't have to wear skin tight barely there clothing to be successful.. Baggy clothing.. combat style boots were popular..
They were sexy but that tomb boyish look was the style and sexy. Times have changed. My mom even said growing up all the girls tried wearing baggy clothes and it was the style and men loved it
