@@coletraincyclist5979 if he had 50/50 custody or was in his daughter's life at all, he probably wouldn't have been put on child support to begin with, but by his own admission, Riley didn't live with him and he wasn't in her life much because of feuds with his wife. "Wanting to be there" is irrelevant if you're not actually doing it, so if Kandi had to be a single mother, she is entitled to child support.

Then this “put me on child support” phrase, I just heard it recently on a video a former co-worker sent me. Is this a cultural thing? I find it very uncomfortable because it just seems that people use it as if it is a new idea to take care of your child. You “put yourself” on child support when you got a woman pregnant. I feel sorry for these children. Many of them do not stand a chance unless the custodial parent works herself to death to make sure the child is well adjusted. Children cost money and a responsible father will get a lawyer and work out custody details FOR HIS CHILD without anybody asking him to and he would do it as a matter of urgency.
