Hi Jeff, In most of online manuals, page 58 is missing. This a very important page about adjustments and test of the equipment. I had to buy the original copy of the manual in order to do the manufacturer adjustments, but some steps are not quite clear, and, I would like your opinion. First, they recommend vertical input to max gain for all adjustments. Some oscilloscopes have more, some less. What should be this setting? But my main concern comes when they recommend to adjust every single marker coil, for an specific amplitude of 3/8" (25 mv p - p) Fig. 3A. This setting is clockwise far away for the maximum amplitude of the adjustment, and near the shut-off point of the marker oscillator. It means that when the marker to be adjusted, is turned off, never comes back when is turned on again, so, I have not to honor this adjustment, as described, in order to have the osc. marker in a working condition. your thoughts ? Do you had have the same problem when tried to follow the manual adjustments instructions? I will appreciate your recommendations.
Hello Richard. To be honest I made this video almost 9 years ago and I don't remember any more details of the alignment process other than what I described in the video. Maybe you can try on of several forums for vintage television and see if there are any experts there that could help you.
Very informative! I am waiting for my first sweep marker generator (Leader LSW-330) to arrive from an auction site and will use your video as a guide for initial testing. My only concern is I can't locate a user or service manual for the LSW-330. Do you have any leads as to where I can continue my search for a manual? Thank you.
