Review point after using it for some time:
I liked the fact that Lumbar support material is flexible so found its support good as it aligns well BUT since it is not cushioned at all it MAY leave an imprint on your back if used for say more than an hour (this number is subjective) without taking a break.

Have tried all models below 10k in the featherlite store. Here are my findings:
Amaze- the only chair within 10k with a recline tilt lock. Pretty big seat, comfortable as far as seat cushion goes. My biggest problem was the lumbar support. It's virtually absent in the chair.
Versa- again, the lumbar support isn't as good as the ones with padded support. It is only adjustable in one direction(up and down) and the plastic support doesn't do much. However I considered it for a moment because of it's ergonomics.
Astro- This was perfect for me in all ways, but mind you it is subjective (I'm 5'7, 72 kgs). My head rested comfortably on the headrest, and the padded lumbar support was perfect for my height. It is adjustable both up/down and forward/backward. The only issue I found which could be problematic for others is the seat. Felt it was a little smaller than the others, so if you have a fairly large built, you could go for the next one-
Anatom- This was just a more expensive Astro, with a few more features. The headrest is adjustable both up down, forward backward(the only one with this feature). Has a slightly bigger seat and tilt lock can be added by customisation(would cost a 1000 rupees more).
I have tried the Liberate(16k) as well. The lumbar support is not adjustable at all in this chair, but apart from that it is pretty comfortable.
In the end, I went with the Astro(high back). Got it for 8800 on Amazon sale. My suggestion is, go to the store, try them out. Trust me it makes a world of a difference. Then order online because prices are lower(or just compare deals online and in-store). Hope you found it helpful. Thanks!
Actually confused between featherlite versa and green soul Jupiter. Tried versa in store. Felt cushion is good and sat for 15 mins. My only issue is lumbar. For that 15 mins ,it’s good. For astro , the seat space is not good. I weigh 82.
My main issues, good cushion with thigh support, proper lumbar and good back rest.
I have a basic mid back office chair, I’m using with fovera gel cushion and a lumbar support. But as it is mid back,I’m getting neck pain. So can u suggest good chair for my concerns. I use this to study. Time in chair ,at least 8 hrs.

The mesh type chairs do not provide adequate back support since there is no foam on back side and also there is no head rest. I have used these type of chairs for quite a long time in office. There is one more variant with foam on back with a foam head which is comfortable. I have recently purchased full back support and head rest chair ( full good quality foam) with head rest and this is quite comfortable variant of boss type chair in 7000. Thanks for efforts to make the video.
Yes i agree that mesh do not provide as good of a support structure as a foam one would have.
So i stay in mumbai and it is too humid to have a chair like that, i will end up having the AC on and hence the greenhouse emissions and pollution so avoided them :)

Namaste Shilpa! The seat dimensions are 19.5" X 19" (19 being the width), yes it is very comfortable amd the seat foam has been holding up well for about 2.5 months now.

Bro, I am confused about selection of chair for WFH. In Featherlite, Amaze is recommended by some people and has good online reviews than any other models (below 10k range). What is your opinion on this model? I want to work for around 9 hrs a day without back pain.

Jupiter has headrest, others don't
Jupiter's lumbar support will have less height adjustment, more depth and is cushioned
Versa has more height adjustment, no depth and not cushioned
Amaze has no depth, little height, little cushion but multi position lock
And not sure if jupiter's seat cushion is as good as featherlite's

How's the chair brother ? I saw in local store. I find the thigh support and lumbar support to be good. The chair cushion is long so I felt it good.

Depth of the support cannot be adjusted in versa
Major difference is in their lumbar support
Astro: depth and height can be adjusted
Both in limited range (adjustability)
Versa: only height can be adjusted in a good range
Astro: padded support
Versa: lexible so somewhat takes the shape of your back but not excellent for continuous sitting without any brakes as it imprints the skin

Not to confuse you but you'll get same models as both astro and versa on amplechairs, innowin and flipkart amazon and astro ka toh chair offline bhi mil jaayega
Apparent differences yeh honge ki featherlite ka seat cushion is better and wheels roll a lot easier (wheels sabke decent honge i assume so no big deal can be replaced later as well after wear and tear)
So if after browsing you have decided that you'll select one of the two,
List down model names and their prices after bank offers etc from different websites
See which is the cheapest and can decide
Prices make decisions easier sometimes :)
Asto or versa won't disappoint
But see in my versa that back rest sound irritates me

Also Liberate HB ditches the conventional Lumbar support for the Dynaflex system and I have not experience that so don't know how effective it is.
Helix HB doesn't seem to have an adjustable head rest as against Liberate HB (I am saying this based on their images, nothing has been mentioned anywhere)
There is obviously a big price difference as they fall in 2 different categories.

Astro's lumbar depth can be adjusted, can't for Versa's
Astro Lumbar's height adjustment is limited, Versa has a very good adjustment range there

Namaste Pradosh, proud of the fact that people are trying for Chinese alternatives and respect you for that!
I guess the wheel base is from China, the full packaging box said 'Made in India' and underneath the Seat is imprinted 'Featherlite Bangalore' so I don't know whether only the Seat or all the other components were manufactured in Featherlite's Karnataka Factory.
Now the issue is while many product listings would claim Country of Origin as India, we don't know if they are just assembled or truly manufactured.
I know for sure about IKEA chairs only since they have stated the Country of Origin itself as China.

I think the Marvel/Oscar chair from ample chairs is best in class. Its High Back with Multi locking Synchro mechanism, 3d armrest, Fabric seat, height + depth adjustable lumbar ,PP + glass fiber backrest frame with nylon mesh , Height and Angle adjustable headrest. Its only 8400rs Inc. gst + delivery across India. I have ordered one, yet to reach. It might seem I am a sales guy, I'm not , I want everyone to buy this chair, I myself was searching for a chair like this at this cost for a long time. Please have a look at it if you can.
Yes I had gone through Oscar executive's features, 7500+18% gst is almost 9k +don't know the delivery charges.
I didn't need:
1) high back and headrest (reason mentioned in Buying Guide video)
2) Didn't need 3d armrest or depth adjustable lumbar to avoid moving parts that I don't require
3) Didn't want chrome wheel base coz I stay in a coastal city.
4) Wanted AN70 mesh and Oscar I guess has AC60 mesh.
5) Didn't know about how good its castors were, Versa's have been excellent till date.
6) Price difference since got a 17% discount on featherlite.

@@geekysindhi129 I received my chair today, the marvel chair, its excellent with AN70 mesh with very good built quality with no noise like yours. I think Marvel chair is the best in class. If you want low back, their is that option too, you should review it too, there is a option on amplechairs.com to ask for sample chair for review purposes.

Is amaze MB best in it's class or are there any superior options? My main focus is tilt lock, armrest swivel and durability. I have decided to go with amaze MB. Also your video helped me.

You could contact Featherlite and ask for a 4d armrest and they might charge extra.
If the don't customise (since they are a big name, they might not but what's the harm in asking),
You should check out the video of a youtuber named 'The Tech Escape', that might help you.

Seat cushion doesn't seam as nice as that of featherlite but no chair is perfect
If possible, check out the offline shops' prices as well coz these prices become 1.2x since they show exclusive of GST (well if you are buying in your business' name then shouldn't matter)
